CJ Perry was recently a guest on Busted Open Radio and teased that she might have something in the works with AEW, potentially joining the company to work on a storyline with her real-life husband Miro. Specifically, after what happened in a recent segment between Miro and Julia Hart, there is talk that Perry (formerly Lana in WWE) will eventually confront Julia.
Perry was on to talk about her run in WWE, working with Miro, and going through table after table. She wasn't asked if her plan was to return to the wrestling ring, nor was she prodded into saying whether she was working on something with AEW or WWE, but she did volunteer that she saw Julia put her hands on Miro in a romantic way and took issue with it. During the segment, Miro said that only his hot wife could put her hands on him that way and the segment ended. Still, Perry seems to be hinting there is more coming.
Whether that means she's going AEW on a permanent basis or just for a quick angle isn't clear. What is known is that Perry has been busy working on Hollywood Projects, has her own production coming out on YouTube and asked fans to subscribe to CJPerry.com where she has photos of herself and for a paid monthly fee, fans can access those photos through brandarmy.com.
Perry Misses Wrestling
She did talk about how much she loves the wrestling industry, how much she misses it and how hard she worked to become someone that fans could see as a legitimate wrestler. She also noted that Miro wasn't keen on her taking the table bumps and she got to a do a lot more in WWE after he was released. How much she'll do if she joins him in AEW isn't clear. Perhaps he's relaxed a little, even though she didn't make him seem that way.
