Cody Rhodes returned to WWE after a six-year absence at WrestleMania 38. Cody managed to win several championships in his WWE career with some championship reigns better than others.As the son of "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and the younger brother of Goldust, Cody Rhodes was destined for greatness in his WWE career. At the age of 22, Cody was a member of the main roster on Raw. He had a decent run, and he was a member of Legacy alongside Randy Orton and Ted DiBiase. He was an integral part of the success of AEW as an EVP, but he rejoined WWE in 2022. Cody will have his eyes set on major prizes once more.

8 World Tag Team Championship - Second Reign (2008)

At Night of Champions 2008, Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly were expected to defend the World Tag Team Championship against Ted DiBiase and a partner of his choosing. However, Holly was betrayed by Cody as he was unveiled as DiBiase's mystery tag team partner.

Rhodes and DiBiase prevailed with this victory kickstarting a second Tag Team Championship reign for Cody. Their title reign was lackluster as they were champions for just 36 days. They retained the titles successfully against Raw's broadcast team Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole. The makeshift team of Batista and John Cena ended their run on the August 4, 2008, edition of Raw in their second title defense.

7 Intercontinental Championship - Second Reign (2012)

Cody Rhodes' maiden Intercontinental Championship run is one of the greatest Intercontinental Championship reigns in the modern era. Moreover, Cody dropped the Intercontinental Title to Big Show at WrestleMania 28. However, he recaptured the Intercontinental Championship from Show a month later in a tables match at Extreme Rules 2012.

Many expected Cody to have another long run with the title as he did a fantastic job the first time around. His second run with the gold only lasted three weeks. Cody dropped the Intercontinental Championship to Christian at Over the Limit. Christian won a battle royal which earned him the right to face Cody for the prestigious Intercontinental Championship, and Captain Charisma capitalized on the opportunity presented to him.

6 World Tag Team Championship - Third Reign (2008)

A week removed from losing the World Tag Team Championship to former World Champions Batista and John Cena, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase wasted no time in recapturing the titles in August 2008. Rhodes and DiBiase were members of Legacy with Randy Orton as their leader, and they added some gold to the faction.

This World Tag Team Championship reign was pointless in truth. They only defended the titles twice with one successful defense coming at Unforgiven, where they overcame Cryme Tyme. Their title reign was ended at the hands of CM Punk and Kofi Kingston, 77 days later. This run should have been a continuation of their first reign as it made little sense to drop the titles to Batista and Cena in the first place.

5 WWE Tag Team Championship - First Reign (2010)

Two talented wrestlers in Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre formed an exciting but short-lived tag team. The duo were surprising participants in Tag Team Turmoil at Night of Champions 2010. Nonetheless, they defeated Mark Henry and Evan Bourne to become WWE Tag Team Champions.

Rhodes and McIntyre managed to see off The Hart Dynasty in two Tag Team Championship matches on Raw and SmackDown. It was the fourth time that Cody held Tag Team Championship gold, and he gestured the number four to signify that after their win at Night of Champions. It's a shame that their reign only lasted five weeks with David Otunga and John Cena beating them for the titles at Bragging Rights.

4 World Tag Team Championship - First Reign (2007-08)

Months into his WWE career, Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly formed a successful partnership. Holly was the veteran, and he took Cody under his wing. The pair defeated Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch for the World Tag Team Championship on the 15th anniversary of Raw.

Cody's win was historic as he became one of the youngest Tag Team Champions in WWE history at the age of 22 years and six months. Despite being champions for six months, they only defended the titles a handful of times. Cody betrayed Holly to team up with Ted DiBiase at Night of Champions 2008, ending their Tag Team Championship reign on a sour note.

3 WWE Tag Team Championship - Third Reign (2014)

Cody Rhodes' final championship run in his WWE career to date came in his partnership with his brother Goldust at Night of Champions 2014. Cody was in his Stardust gimmick, and they became two-time WWE Tag Team Champions when they ended The Usos' championship run.

Their two-month WWE Tag Team Championship run was successful as they defeated The Usos in a series of rematches at Hell in a Cell and a steel cage match on an episode of SmackDown. The Miz and his stunt double Damien Mizdow ended their title reign in a fatal four-wat match at Survivor Series.

2 WWE Tag Team Championship - Second Reign (2013-14)

Finally, Cody Rhodes and Goldust strung a tag team run together in 2013. Their battles with The Shield were off the charts. That match at Battleground was emotional, and Rhodes and his brother came out on top. They replicated their victory over Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins when it mattered most, and they captured the WWE Tag Team Championship on an episode of Raw in October 2013.

The Rhodes brothers were fighting champions, and they defeated againt the likes of The Shield, The Usos, The Wyatt Family, The Real Americans, RybAxel, and Rey Mysterio and Big Show during their title reign. Unexpectedly, The New Age Outlaws beat Cody and Goldust for the titles on the 2014 Royal Rumble kick-off show.

It took Cody Rhodes four years to secure his first singles championships in the summer of 2011, but it was worth the wait. Cody defeated Ezekiel Jackson for the Intercontinental Championship on the August 12, 2011, edition of SmackDown. The Intercontinental Title was going through a rough patch, but Cody restored some relevancy to the title.

At Hell in a Cell 2011, Rhodes unveiled a new Intercontinental Championship title belt which was reminiscent of the old one. Fans enjoyed that as it took them back to their childhood and teen years of being wrestling fans. Nonetheless, Cody held the Intercontinental Title for a remarkable 234 days. The likes of Ted DiBiase, Sheamus, Booker T, and John Morrison failed to beat Rhodes for the title. Big Show was the man responsible for ending Cody's memorable Intercontinental Championship run.
