There are people in the world that feel marriage is an essential part of life. In professional wrestling, it could be hard to hold a relationship due to the insane travel and training schedules. Wrestlers with families will sometimes go weeks without seeing their spouses, kids, pets, parents, etc. In some cases, it is easier for wrestlers to find love amongst other wrestlers due to their similar lifestyles.
For example, AEW's Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti just recently got married after meeting each other while working in the wrestling business. Stars like The Miz and Maryse, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, and Bryan Danielson and Brie Bella, have all made marriages work due to the similarities they share in wrestling. Despite how hard it can be there are still plenty of wrestlers who decide to get married. In AEW, there are many wrestlers who are married that fans might not have known were even in relationships.
10 Danhausen
Making his surprising AEW debut earlier this year, Danhausen has added his own unique element to the promotion. Starting his wrestling career in 2013, he adapted this character to be an independent wrestling hit and instantly became a fan favorite. He compared his character to talk show host Conan O'Brien but possessed by a demon.
The "very nice, very evil" demon, married his wife Lauren Jiles in 2018. She is a Canadian burlesque dancer, who goes under the name Lou Lou la Duchesse de Rière. Together, the two have one daughter.
9 Shawn Spears
"The Chairman" Shawn Spears is an AEW original who has come to align himself with some of the top stars in the promotion. He is an experienced wrestler having worked on the independent circuit as well as working with WWE on and off. He has yet to hit his stride at the top of a roster, but he has proven to be a hard worker.
While in WWE, Spears started dating fellow star Cassie Lee (FKA Peyton Royce). The two were married back in 2019. Spears and Lee recently announced that they will be expecting their first child together.
8 QT Marshall
As the leader of The Factory, QT Marshall has done what he can to help make a name for some of his fellow stars. He is an AEW original and also serves as an acting producer for the promotion. He had a feud with Cody Rhodes but other than that has stayed under the radar.
Outside AEW he helps run The Nightmare Factory; a wrestling school and training facility out of Atlanta. Marshall has been married to his wife Carolyn Fazio since 2016.
7 Samoa Joe
Current Ring of Honor World Television Champion Samoa Joe has had a storied career working in some of the best wrestling promotions. Making a name for himself in Ring of Honor and TNA, Joe spent some time in WWE before making his AEW debut.
Joe is a major part of AEW's revival of Ring of Honor and has served as the face of the brand since its purchase. He has been wrestling for over 20 years now and his wife has been a huge part of his support system. He married Jessica Seanoa in 2007.
6 Thunder Rosa
Speaking of champions, the current AEW Women's World Champion Thunder Rosa jumped into professional wrestling in her late-20s. She was a star in the Lucha Underground promotion. Once the promotion folded she jumped around for a while before joining NWA. NWA is what led to her becoming a full-time AEW wrestler.
She has had some historic matches in the past but most of them have taken place in AEW. Rosa was already married for almost a decade before she started her wrestling career. She married her husband Brian Cervantes in 2006, and together they have one son.
5 Kip Sabian
Another AEW original that fans might not know is married is Kip Sabian. Though he has been missing on the active roster for about a year now, Sabian has appeared regularly on AEW television. He is often shown in the crowd wearing a paper bag over his head, sporting his new gimmick.
A huge part of Sabian's career in AEW revolved around his wedding to manager Penelope Ford. The two appeared on screen together and were featured in a wedding segment that helped bring Miro into AEW. Fans might not know that Sabian and Ford are actually married in real life and the storyline helped play into that.
4 Toni Storm
Toni Storm is a former NXT UK Women's Champion and was thought to have a great career in WWE. She appeared to be on the rise as part of the SmackDown roster and all of a sudden things changed. She felt it was best to leave WWE and had her sights set on AEW.
Storm made her AEW debut in March this year and entered into a storyline with Britt Baker. She has had great bouts with Baker and her ally Jamie Hayter. The Australian married NPJW star Juice Robinson earlier this year, and they plan to be a professional wrestling "Power Couple".
3 Keith Lee
Another star who many fans feel WWE did not use to the best of his abilities is Keith Lee. He was a standout amongst many stars while in NXT but once he hit the main roster, his character became lackluster. After spending some time on a hiatus, he eventually parted ways with the company.
He made his AEW debut in February 2022 and has since become one-half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, along with Swerve Strickland. Around the same time of his AEW debut, he married fellow former WWE superstar Mia Yim. The two now work for different promotions, but one-day fans might be lucky enough to see them compete together.
2 Athena
Former NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon is another WWE star that jumped ship to AEW when she made her debut this year under the name of Athena. She worked with WWE for 6 years after spending about 8 years on the independent circuit. She spent a lot of time on the sidelines which hurt her ability to show her skills on the main roster.
Athena shocked the wrestling world when she made her AEW debut at the 2022 Double or Nothing event. Since then, she has spent the majority of her time in a feud with TBS Champion Jade Cargill. She is currently married to independent wrestler Matthew Palmer and the two wed in 2018.
1 "Hangman" Adam Page
There are few men that have found as much success in AEW as "Hangman" Adam Page. He is a former AEW World Champion and an AEW World Tag Team Champion. He has had some historic feuds and has since become one of the faces of the company.
Page started his time as part of The Elite but has proven that he is his own character that can succeed without help from his friends. There is no doubt that he will one day be the AEW World Champion again, and he is not even at the peak of his wrestling career. His wife, Amanda Woltz, has been by his side for the majority of his wrestling journey. The two were married in 2016, and they have one child together.
