Since being released by WWE in 2020, Deonna Purrazzo has become one of the most talked-about women's wrestlers in the world, with her run in Impact Wrestling being greatly enjoyable and a testament to her abilities as a professional wrestler. Joining the brand in 2020 during its no-crowd era, Deonna has had to fight an uphill battle to prove herself as one of the best, and she has done just that, becoming the leader of Impact's ever-impressive women's division alongside the likes of Jordynne Grace, Rosemary, and Taya Valkyrie.

Having worked as an enhancement talent in WWE NXT from 2014 to 2017, Deonna Purrazzo would finally be offered a contract with WWE during 2018's WrestleMania weekend. Despite that, her time with the company would only last two years, with her being let go during one of WWE's mass releases during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

During that two-year period, Purrazzo would mainly be featured on NXT. There was only one match from her run that made it onto her top matches on Cagematch.net, and that was a battle royal for the number one contender's spot for the NXT Women's Championship. Deonna failed to win, though she would face off against the likes of Mercedes Martinez, Mia Yim, Bianca Belair, and Shotzi Blackheart.

9 Deonna Purrazzo vs Masha Slamovich (Beyond Project Dolphin) - 6.92

The first meeting between Deonna Purrazzo and Masha Slamovich would not happen in Impact Wrestling, but rather, would be brought to fans by the Beyond promotion at their Beyond Project Dolphin event.

Given under 10 minutes, Purrazzo and Masha would not have time for all that much, but it would be a sign of things to come. Purrazzo would walk away with her hand held high by the time the final bell was rung, but the two would be meeting again later that year, this time on Deonna's home turf.

8 Deonna Purrazzo vs Su Yung, No Disqualification Match (Turning Point 2020) - 6.96

At 2020's Bound for Glory event, Deonna Purrazzo was set to defend the Knockouts Championship against Kylie Rae, though that would ultimately not occur, as Su Yung would replace Kylie in the match. Scoring a major upset, Yung would beat Purrazzo at that PPV, before facing off again at Turning Point with an added NO DQ stipulation.

Better than the Bound For Glory match, Purrazzo would regain her Knockouts Championship at Turning Point, beating Su Yung and ending her time as a transitional champion.

7 Deonna Purrazzo vs Momo Watanabe (Stardom Shining Stars 2018) - 7.00

After signing with WWE during WrestleMania weekend, Deonna Purrazzo would make her final appearance in the Japanese Stardom promotion in June of 2018, having a singles match against Momo Watanabe. With both women being quite young at the time, the two delivered a fun match for what would be one of Deonna's last non-WWE matches for the next two years.

With how far both women have come in their careers, both being significantly better, more well-rounded wrestlers nowadays, this is surely a match that would be more than welcome to be run back should Impact Wrestling and Stardom ever come to a working relationship.

6 Queen of the Mountain Match (Slammiversary 2022) - 7.04

Despite being one of the most convoluted match types to exist in modern-day professional wrestling, the King of the Mountain's legacy lives on in Impact Wrestling history, with its most recent outing being a gender-bent, Queen of the Mountain Match at Slammiversary 2022. Tasha Steelz defended her Knockouts World Championship against Deonna Purrazzo, Chelsea Green, Mia Yim, and the eventual winner, Jordynne Grace. The first-ever women's version of the match was a definite success.

While its Cagematch.net rating landed at a 7.04, the match type itself is likely an area holding it back, with there being an established stigma attached to it. For fans that have not seen the Queen of the Mountain match already, it is worth checking out, with some great wrestling and an absolutely insane spot from Chelsea Green and Deonna Purrazzo in the closing moments of the match!

5 Deonna Purrazzo vs Masha Slamovich (Knockouts Knockdown 2021) - 7.32

Just a few months after their meeting in Beyond, Deonna and Masha would face off in an Impact Wrestling ring during the 2021 edition of Knockouts Knockdown. In their second meeting, the match itself would be better, with a few extra minutes and with the two women more familiar this time around.

Clocking in at 12 minutes, The Virtuosa would defeat Masha Slamovich, though Masha would benefit more from the loss than Deonna would from the victory. Following the event, Masha would be signed to Impact Wrestling and would begin being built as a new monster within the Knockouts Division.

4 Deonna Purrazzo vs Jordynne Grace (Slammiversary 2020) - 7.80

When looking at Impact Wrestling's current roster of Knockouts, the two names that stand out as the two genuine stars of the division are Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace, the current Knockouts Champion. Flashing back to the summer of 2020, with Purrazzo having just arrived in Impact Wrestling, the two would do battle for the Knockouts Championship in a memorable feud.

This match would mark Deonna's first time challenging for the Knockouts Championship during her second run in Impact Wrestling, winning the championship and dethroning Jordynne Grace in a 15-minute match that served as the semi-main event for the PPV.

3 Deonna Purrazzo vs Rok-C (Impact Wrestling, 1/9/2022) - 7.81

At Ring of Honor's Final Battle PPV, Deonna Purrazzo would make her return to the company as she would face off against Rok-C, the ROH Women's Champion. Later, the two would face off in early January 2022 on an episode of Impact Wrestling with Deonna putting her AAA Women's Championship on the line, and Rok-C putting her ROH belt on the line. Purrazzo would ultimately walk away with two belts, with the two meshing quite well in their encounter.

Following her loss to Purrazzo, Rok-C would make the jump into the WWE system, signing with the company and joining the NXT 2.0 brand where she can now be seen every Tuesday alongside Cora Jade with her new name, Roxxane Perez. As for Purrazzo's time as ROH Champion, it would provide Impact with the Champ Champ Challenge for months before she would drop the title to Mercedes Martinez on an episode of AEW Dynamite.

2 Deonna Purrazzo vs Madison Eagles, Submission Match (SHIMMER Volume 101) - 8.00

Coming off of an extremely hot match the week prior, Deonna Purrazzo and Madison Eagles would face off in a rematch in SHIMMER during the spring of 2018, with their sequel bout having a submission stipulation added to it. In one of the most memorable technical matches in the all-women's brand's history, these two would steal the show.

For fans of technical wrestling, this is a match worth seeking out, with two extremely gifted and sound technical wrestlers in the form of Purrazzo and Eagles. Deonna would avenge the loss that she was given a week earlier, tapping out Eagles with her famous Fujiwara Armbar.

Coming off of their battle at the 2020 edition of Slammiversary, Jordynne Grace would challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship in late August, with an added stipulation this time around. In undeniably Purrazzo's best match, the two would face off in a special Iron Man Match for the Knockouts Championship at Impact Wrestling's Emergence TV Special in 2020.

With Deonna walking in as the champion this time around, the advantage was on her side, as she defended and out-wrestled the self-proclaimed Thicc Momma Pump. The two would go to war for 30 minutes straight, with a score of 2-1 in The Virtuosa's favor, delivering an extremely memorable Knockouts Championship match, even with the handicap of not having a crowd.
