Dexter Lumis set social media on fire when he made his surprise return to WWE a few weeks ago. Since then, he's been spotted in the background of several segments and has appeared at ringside only to be escorted away by WWE security. During tonight's episode of Raw, however, WWE's security team was unable to stop the Tortured Artist from taking action.
Tonight's episode of Raw in Toronto featured several heartwarming homecomings. Trish Stratus spoke to the WWE universe and confronted Bayley, Edge defeated Damien Priest, and former NXT Champion Johnny Gargano returned to the WWE. Now that his old friend Gargano is back, perhaps Dexter Lumis has hatched a plan and set it into motion. Whatever plan starts with a kidnapping can't be great news for the rest of the WWE roster though. Tonight, the Miz became Dexter's first victim.
Miz Gone Missing
Tonight the Miz and Ciampa had a match against the WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley and AJ Styles. The match was proceeding fairly normally until a man in a hoodie attempted to grab AJ Styles from over the barricade. Security quickly apprehended the man (whose identity remains unknown) and escorted him out of the arena, but it appears now that he was only a decoy.
On the other side of the ring, Dexter Lumis grabbed the Miz in a chokehold and dragged him out of the arena. Neither Lumis nor the Miz have been seen or heard from since the incident. Adam Pearce tweeted a picture of a milk carton with the Miz's face on it, so we know WWE management is aware of the issue.
