Dolph Ziggler had a second chance to win a Money in the Bank ladder match in 2010. The Showoff competed in the opening Money in the Bank ladder match at the inaugural Money in the Bank PPV. It wasn't going to be easy as Ziggler had to battle past the likes of Kane, Drew McIntyre, Big Show, Matt Hardy, Kofi Kingston, Cody Rhodes, and Christian.

Ziggler had a decent outing here, and he was involved in the thick of things. However, it was more misery for Ziggler in Money in the Bank ladder matches as he had to witness Kane retrieve the briefcase, and go on to win the World Heavyweight Championship later on in the night.

9 Dolph Ziggler Vs. Drew McIntyre - Raw 12/31/18 (8.18)

The New Year's Eve edition of Raw in 2018 opened up with former Raw Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre colliding in a Steel Cage match. Ziggler wanted no part of McIntyre, and he attempted to escape the cage, but McIntyre reeled him back in. This bout was magnificent, and their chemistry together was excellent.

Ziggler rammed McIntyre's head into the cage. Nonetheless, Ziggler did everything in his power to escape McIntyre's clutches, but it was to no avail. Fans chanted "this is awesome." The Showoff connected with the Zig Zag, but McIntyre kicked out. Ziggler came close, but a couple of Claymore Kicks were enough for the Scottish Psychopath to get one over on Ziggler.

8 Royal Rumble Match - Royal Rumble 2018 (8.30)

Dolph Ziggler drew the luxurious number 30 position in the men's 2018 Royal Rumble match. Ziggler set his sights on John Cena, and he countered the AA. Ziggler went on to clock Randy Orton with a superkick. Moreover, Ziggler eliminated Goldust with a superkick to the face.

Ziggler's momentum continued as he took down Shinsuke Nakamura with a Zig Zag. Ziggler was tuning up the band for a superkick, but Nakamura blocked it. Ziggler was in no man's land on the apron, and Balor eliminated him with Ziggler lasting just a couple of minutes.

7 Dolph Ziggler Vs. Daniel Bryan - Bragging Rights 2010 (8.34)

Two future World Heavyweight Champions in SmackDown's Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and Raw's United States Champion Daniel Bryan tore the house down in the curtain-raiser at Bragging Rights 2010. This was a magnificent match between the pair which doesn't get spoken about enough.

Ziggler thought that he had picked up a win, but Bryan's feet were clearly on the ropes. Near fall after near fall had fans on the edge of their seats. Ultimately, Bryan forced Ziggler to submit with his trademark LeBell lock.

6 Dolph Ziggler Vs. Cesaro Vs. Tyson Kidd - SmackDown 11/14/14 (8.44)

Across the pond in Liverpool, England, fans were in store for a treat when Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro, and Tyson Kidd battled in an elimination triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship on the November 14, 2014, edition of SmackDown. The pace was set fast, and there were some excellent exchanges between the trio.

Ziggler was in an uncomfortable position when Cesaro cinched in the Crossface whilst Kidd executed the Sharpshooter simultaneously. Nonetheless, Ziggler regrouped, and he planted Cesaro with the Zig Zag. Tyson Kidd wanted the glory, and he removed Ziggler from the ring, and he pinned Cesaro. Kidd pushed Ziggler all the way, but the Showoff clung onto his Intercontinental Championship with the Zig Zag.

5 Money In The Bank Ladder Match - Money In The Bank 2014 (8.49)

Dolph Ziggler was aiming to win his second Money in the Bank ladder match in three years in 2014. The Showoff, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, and Rob Van Dam slugged it out in a decent lineup with every participant in this match a former or future WWE World Champion.

Ziggler and Kofi battled at the top of the ladder, but Rollins clattered both men with a ladder. Moreover, Ziggler put his body on the line, and Zig Zagged Kingston on the ladder. Rollins hit Ziggler in the leg with a chair, and all thanks to Kane, Rollins went on to clinch the Money in the Bank briefcase.

4 Team Cena Vs. Team Authority - Survivor Series 2014 (8.49)

John Cena led Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, Ryback, and Erick Rowan at the 2014 Survivor Series against Team Authority. Team Authority featured Seth Rollins, Kane, Luke Harper, Rusev, and Mark Henry. If Cena's team lost they would be fired except for Cena, and the Authority would cease to exist should they lose.

The match was electric, and Big Show wasted no time in eliminating Henry. However, Show's work was far from done as he turned heel by laying out Cena. Ultimately, Ziggler was the star of the show, and he overcame unlikely odds with Sting making his WWE debut, Ziggler covered Rollins to pick up the all-important win.

3 Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre Vs. Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins - Hell In A Cell 2018 (8.51)

Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre had their hands full in their Raw Tag Team Championship title defense against the Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose at Hell in a Cell 2018. This was a long battle, and both teams showcased their brilliance.

There was near fall after near fall. In the closing stages, the Architect was going for a double falcon arrow, and McIntyre executed a Claymore Kick on Rollins. Ziggler fell on top of Rollins, and they retained their titles with McIntyre carrying Ziggler on his shoulders.

2 Royal Rumble Match - Royal Rumble 2020 (8.54)

A Royal Rumble match victory was missing from Dolph Ziggler's impressive resume. The Showoff competed in the 2020 men's Royal Rumble match and he joined the fray as the 19th entrant. Ziggler battled McIntyre alongside Styles in the early stages. Ziggler, Karl Anderson, and Styles worked together, and they attempted to eliminate McIntyre.

Edge returned, and he entered the Royal Rumble as the 21st entrant. Live cameras missed Edge's first Spear on Ziggler, but that has been fixed on the WWE Network. Unfortunately, Ziggler failed to headline WrestleMania as his quest was halted by 2015 winner Roman Reigns, who Speared him and dumped him over the top rope.

There were huge stipulations on the line at No Mercy 2016 as Dolph Ziggler challenged The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship. If Ziggler failed to beat Miz for the title, his WWE career would be coming to a premature end. This was one of the all-time great Intercontinental Championship matches.

Ziggler and Miz's chemistry together was unrivaled, and both men made the Intercontinental Championship relevant. The Showoff connected with the Zig Zag but Miz kicked out. The deck was stacked against Ziggler as his former stablemates Kenny and Mikey interfered. Ultimately, Ziggler overcame Miz, and he kickstarted his fifth Intercontinental Championship reign.
