Dolph Ziggler made his NXT 2.0 debut and confronted the brand's top guy, Bron Breakker, on this week's edition of NXT 2.0.

It all went down at the WWE Performance Center on Tuesday, February 8. Wade Barrett was moderating a contract signing between NXT Champion Bron Breakker, and Santos Escobar, who Breakker will defend his gold against at NXT Vengeance day on SyFy next week.

Breakker and Escobar were trash-talking each other, and Breakker suggested the two men skip to the fighting portion of their contract signing segment ... and then Dolph Ziggler's music hit, and the NXT Universe went wild.

RELATED: How A Concussion Kept Dolph Ziggler From Fulfilling His Main Event PotentialZiggler made his way to the ring and took a seat at the middle of the table in between Breakker and Escobar, but he was only interested in Breakker. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion listed off his accolades and then posed a question to NXT 2.0's number one guy: "Who are you?"

Before any more shots could be fired, former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa emerged from the back and made his way to the ring. Ciampa took a seat right next to Ziggler and attempted to get under the Showoff's skin by calling him "kid" (despite being five years younger than Ziggler). Ziggler gave as good as he got and mocked Ciampa's inability to break out of WWE's developmental system, which clearly touched a nerve because Ciampa immediately attacked Ziggler and the two men brawled all the way down the ramp.

With Ciampa and Ziggler gone, Escobar and Legado Del Fantasma cronies attacked Breakker and put him through the table, ensuring that the contract signing drew to a close in a traditional fashion.

The intensifying beef between Ziggler and Breakker began when Breakker's NXT colleague LA Knight invited Ziggler to test his mettle in NXT 2.0. Ziggler began teasing an NXT appearance, but after Breakker mockingly tweeted footage of Ziggler's Rumble elimination, Ziggler threatened to take Breakker's title away from NXT's golden boy.

Ziggler last appeared in an NXT ring back in 2013 when he defeated Rusev at Full Sail University.
