If you were hoping Triple H would make his presence known as head of WWE creative almost immediately well, you must be pretty happy right now. While The Game hasn't waded in and completely overhauled how the company works, he has sent a clear message to fans about what he thought of some of Vince McMahon's decisions via the previously released Superstars he has brought back into the fold.

Doudrop's Name Change Discussion

It seems The Game has also been talking to Superstars about something else McMahon liked to do that clearly ticked him off. Changing people's names. Doudrop revealed to Inside The Ropes in the video below (via 411 Mania) that she has already talked with the new head of creative about changing her name, presumably back to Piper Niven.

“We did have a conversation about it. Because here’s the thing, before it was Vince’s vision and now it’s Triple H’s vision,” Doudrop revealed. The switch back to Niven might not happen, though. Doudrop went on to say she doesn't particularly care what she's called, she just wants a clearer direction when it comes to her character and what is being asked of her on-screen and in the ring.

Doudrop Still Might Not Get Her Name Back

“I don’t mind either way. I would just like to make more deliberate steps going forward with [my] character.” Doudrop explained that when she was first given a new name, she had no idea what to do. Then once she got to grips with what was being asked of her, while alongside Eva Marie, the whole situation was turned on its head and McMahon turned her heel, arguably putting her back to square one.

Triple H speaking to Doudrop about her name and whether she would like to change it could be an indicator that name changes won't be as commonplace in WWE moving forward. At least not when Superstars are called up from NXT. Doudrop was called Niven in NXT UK, so it's unclear why she needed to have her name changed when called up. Ciampa underwent a less drastic name change recently, losing the Tommaso, but has already said he doesn't particularly want it back.
