Because WWE has such a vast roster, many in-ring talents haven't interacted at this point. Some of those include dream matches or obvious encounters most fans presumed would have happened at some point, even on a television episode.

While it is surprising that certain matches have never happened in WWE, it does open the door to exciting possibilities moving forward. There are still a lot of brilliant matches they can produce for the first time on their shows, and that is something that will get audiences excited about the product moving forward, which is always a positive for WWE.

10 Drew McIntyre vs. Cesaro

Drew McIntyre and Cesaro

Because Drew McIntyre and Cesaro have been around WWE for such a long time, it is a real surprise that they have never interacted inside the ring. They're two of the best workers that the company has and putting them together would create an excellent encounter.

They can hit hard but also work a technical approach, and that is something that would work in their favor. A one-off television match would have the potential to steal the show between these two, and that is why WWE needs to book it.

9 Randy Orton vs. Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio Randy Orton

With the history that Randy Orton has with Rey Mysterio, it would be an obvious to book him in a match against Dominik Mysterio. They both followed their fathers into the wrestling business, which would be another neat angle to use for this encounter.

There is plenty that WWE could do between these two men, even if it was for a Raw match. Plus, Orton is an ideal person for Dominik to learn from inside the ring given the experience he has, which would make it beneficial as well.

8 Rey Mysterio vs. Ricochet

This match just seems obvious due to their high-flying abilities. Rey Mysterio was a true innovator of wrestling moves, and Ricochet took that to a new level when he burst onto the scene. The things that both men can do are outstanding, and seeing them go against each other could be mind-blowing.

This is a match that has happened several times in the past, but never under the WWE banner. The independent promotions saw more sense than Vince McMahon. This is the type of match that would be perfect for a United States Championship, but at this stage, fans would settle for a random encounter as long as they got time.

7 Brock Lesnar vs. Riddle

Brock Lesnar Matt Riddle

Another match that fans would always be interested in seeing is Brock Lesnar vs. Riddle. Considering their history and the fact Riddle constantly calls out Lesnar, it would be an easy storyline for WWE to tell, while creating a genuinely fresh match.

While Riddle isn't a true main event star yet, his associations with Randy Orton have taken him up a level. Plus, with his own UFC background, he could be taken seriously against Brock, which cannot be said for many members of the roster.

6 Edge vs. AJ Styles

AJ Styles Edge

Another dream match that fans are patiently waiting for is between Edge and AJ Styles. This was teased immediately when Edge returned to WWE, as he nailed Styles with a Spear, and this got a lot of people talking about possibilities.

Since then, they have been kept away from each other. However, they are two huge stars, and they would be capable of putting on a classic inside the ring. Plus, the fact it is a genuine first-time-ever match only adds to the excitement surrounding this.

5 Sasha Banks vs. Rhea Ripley

While Sasha Banks and Rhea Ripley have competed in a triple threat match, they have never faced each other in singles action, which is surprising. They are two of the biggest stars around, and inside the ring, they can each work to a high standard.

They have completely different in-ring styles, but that is something that could create a great match for fans to watch. Considering how popular they both are, it does feel inevitable that they will compete against each other soon enough.

4 Sheamus vs. Robert Roode

Roode and Sheamus

Sheamus and Robert Roode are two experienced wrestlers who work methodical styles, always getting things done in a mechanically sound manner. With both of them being used frequently by the company, it is surprising that they have never competed.

This is the type of television match that most people would assume WWE had booked at some point. However, this is one encounter that has never happened, and with both men on different rosters right now, it won't be happening any time soon.

3 Dolph Ziggler vs. Cedric Alexander

Dolph Ziggler is Mr. Reliable within WWE, and because of that, he has been put into matches with almost everybody who has stepped into the company during his time. However, somehow that does not include Cedric Alexander.

They are both excellent technical wrestlers, and they could have had a terrific match against each other. Because they're both involved in tag teams, WWE could have had them feud and then had a singles match, but it hasn't happened.

2 Omos vs. Commander Azeez

Omos and Commander Azeez

If there is something that Vince McMahon loves, it is wrestlers who are legitimately huge. Both Omos and Commander Azeez tick those boxes, which is why they have been protected so far in the company. But, surprisingly, Vince hasn't thrown them together.

Seeing the two giants smash into each other and create the classic image as they stare down is something Vince would likely enjoy, and that is what makes it so surprising that it has not happened to this point.

1 Alexa Bliss vs. Bianca Belair

Alexa Bliss and Bianca Belair

A match between these two women would be tremendous. With the explosive power of Bianca Belair being met by the technical ability and storytelling qualities of Alexa Bliss, this would be a fantastic match. It could be something enjoyable between them, even with Alexa's darker supernatural character.

Now that Bliss is back on television and a member of the Raw roster, there is a good chance that this encounter could end up taking place down the line. Inside the ring, they would work well together, and hopefully, that can happen.
