10 Vince McMahon Is Breaking Down His Own Company For A Reason
Some months ago, a wrestling fan commented on a Reddit post asking about unpopular opinions on Vince McMahon. Some of these comments were controversial, and mostly because they lacked common sense.
One such fan, who's called UncleMagnetti, said this about Vince: "He is breaking down the WWE because he wants to rebuild it and crush the competition one more time."
9 Sam Driver Was Adamant That Jon Moxley Leaving WWE Was A Work
Sam Driver of Cultaholic was also one of the people who believed that Jon Moxley leaving WWE was a work. The company had announced publicly that Moxley was going to leave the company after his contract expired.
This should've made things clear for fans, but it gave them more reason to think this whole thing was a storyline. Sam was really confident about this being a work and when this turned out to be untrue, he had to eat a licorice-flavored hat (made out of fondant).
8 Jimmy Rave & Brodie Lee Were Murdered
Some time ago, a wrestler name Jimmy Rave passed away at the age of 39. He struggled with drug addiction for many years, and this resulted in him losing one arm and both legs to amputation.
On Twitter, a fan implied that the Illuminati was involved in Rave's death. This fan also went on to say that Brodie Lee and others wrestlers were murdered.

In 2007, Vince McMahon faked his death on live television. This storyline freaked out many fans who thought that McMahon had actually died in his limo.
Of course, Vince didn't die but some people really believed he blew himself up. Many of them even confessed this online. Even Donald Trump fell for this storyline (and he was involved in the wrestling business).

Some time ago, a fan named Elisah Spencer tried to attack Seth Rollins during Monday Night Raw. The security tackled him and he was later arrested. At first, wrestling fans believed that this person just didn't like Rollins but this whole situation became interesting after it was revealed that Spencer was scammed by someone who pretended to be Seth Rollins.
This fan said that he had "personal beef" with Rollins. There were also screenshots of his conversation with the imposter on the internet.

Even to this day, some fans believe that Vince Russo was a double agent for WWE. After Russo joined WCW in 1999, the company ran out of business in just two years.
To many people, this conspiracy theory might seem true but no one really has ever confirmed it (at least no one credible). As long as WWE exists, there will be people who believe this theory.

When Roman Reigns announced he had leukemia, some fans claimed that it was fake. This was one of the dumbest claims people made online, and there were lots of them.
When Reigns returned a few months later, many fans questioned if he even had cancer in the first place. A lot of these people thought that Reigns recovered way too fast, and this seemed fishy to them.
2 Sasha Banks Can Destroy The UFC Roster
Seven years ago, a fan posted on Reddit how Sasha Banks could become the "most dominant athlete and biggest draw possibly of all time" in the octagon. This fan was certain that Banks could easily beat UFC fighters such as Marion Reneau and Holly Holm (without any special training).
They further said that if The Boss got the kind of training CM Punk did, who he predicted was "going to have an incredible career and elevate the sport once again," she could easily beat the likes of Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey.
1 The Montreal Screwjob Was A Work
Twitter user riotcoke420 recently replied to a fan who was taking shots at Tony Khan. This fan said that maybe Khan is working the audience. Then he went to say that people thought the Montreal Screwjob was real, but it wasn't; it was a work.
To back up their claim, they said Bret Hart had a creative control clause in his contract. If WWE had really screwed him, they could've been brought to court.
