Wrestling fans (especially WWE's) are some of the most vocal people on the internet. Every minute, someone posts their thoughts on social media about the wrestling business. Some fans say inappropriate things to wrestlers, while others often criticize a promotion. And sometimes, this leads to a heated discussion.

This should've made things clear for fans, but it gave them more reason to think this whole thing was a storyline. Sam was really confident about this being a work and when this turned out to be untrue, he had to eat a licorice-flavored hat (made out of fondant).

Twitter user riotcoke420 recently replied to a fan who was taking shots at Tony Khan. This fan said that maybe Khan is working the audience. Then he went to say that people thought the Montreal Screwjob was real, but it wasn't; it was a work.

To back up their claim, they said Bret Hart had a creative control clause in his contract. If WWE had really screwed him, they could've been brought to court.
