Prior to a Unified World Champion being crowned or the Trios Titles tournament kicking off, Eddie Kingston challenged Sammy Guevara to a match at AEW All Out. The thing is, that match was never really mentioned again, and it officially won't be on the card this Sunday. That's because the animosity between Kingston and Guevara got a little too real.

Eddie Kingston And Sammy Guevara Have Moved On

Guevara cut a pre-recorded promo in response to that initial Kingston challenge in which he called his potential All Out opponent fat. Kingston didn't take kindly to that, resulting in an altercation between the two when Guevara got backstage. Kingston hit the former TNT Champion in the face which earned him a two-week suspension.

Both men have issued statements about the incident since Kingston's suspension came to an end, and apparently, the pair have discussed the incident together backstage. That's according to a new report courtesy of PW Insider. Apparently, the pair saw each other for the first time since the incident backstage at Dynamite this week and have now moved on from the whole thing.

No Match At All Out

The report claims Kingston and Guevara both apologized and shook hands. Unlikely that the two will now be best friends, but they don't need to be. They just need to be civil if they both want to continue working in AEW. A match between them appears to be off the cards for now too as now Kingston's back, a rematch against Tomohiro Ishii has been added to All Out's Zero Hour show.

The build to All Out is almost done now with the go-home Dynamite in the rearview mirror. CM Punk and Jon Moxley's title match is set, and a Pac vs. Kip Sabian All-Atlantic Title match was also added to the card this week. There are a few loose ends to tie up on Rampage this week including the other semifinal of the Trios Titles tournament.
