10 Edge's Spear To Rey Mysterio - SmackDown(October 21, 2005)
Edge tends to take the opportunity to hit a spear on his opponent when they are not expecting it. On the October 21, 2005, episode of SmackDown, Rey Mysterio was in a heated battle with JBL when suddenly Edge's music hit.
Before Mysterio had the chance to realize it, Edge was already behind him. The spear he hit flipped Mysterio around and caused him to land on his neck and shoulders.
9 Edge's Mid-air Spear To Rob Van Dam - SmackDown (November 1, 2001)
Edge hadn't yet reached main event status when he battled Rob Van Dam for the Hardcore Championship on the November 1, 2001, episode of SmackDown. The anything-goes battle saw both men bring a level of athleticism and intensity that made audiences take notice of them. As RVD was going for a launching move off a steel chair, Edge countered with a spear in mid-air. Unfortunately, Edge ended up on the losing side that night thanks to a sneak attack by Test.
8 Edge's Top Rope Spear - SmackDown (May 30, 2002)
Steel cages matches are devastating enough, but adding a top rope spear from the Rated-R Superstar makes going through the ordeal a hellish experience. Edge was embroiled in a feud against Kurt Angle and the two were looking to prove who was the best. In their steel cage match on SmackDown, Edge prevented Angle from escaping the cage and locked eyes on his opponent. That's when Edge launched off the top rope and gave Angle one of his most impressive spears of his career.
7 Edge Spears Undertaker Through Hell - SummerSlam (2008)
2008 saw Edge in one of his most memorable feuds in his career against The Undertaker. After their TLC bout, Edge thought he'd rid The Undertaker for good. Unfortunately for Edge, he soon had to deal with The Deadman on his home turf, Hell in a Cell.
Edge held his own though during the match. He even launched himself at The Undertaker and they both went crashing through the hellish structure.
6 Edge Spears John Cena - New Year's Revolution (2006)
They say you never forget your first WWE Championship win. The Rated-R Superstar certainly won't forget the night he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase against a bloodied John Cena to win his first WWE Championship. Cena was pretty much down and out for the count when Edge's music hit. He then handed over the briefcase that he won at WrestleMania 21, and the rest is history.
5 Edge Spears Randy Orton On Top Of A Truck - WrestleMania 36
WrestleMania 36 is a night certainly most fans and WWE talent would like to forget for quite some time. Edge, at the event, had the chance to get back at his former tag partner, Randy Orton, for all the wrongdoings he committed weeks prior. As the two battled in a Last Man Standing match, they ultimately ended up in the WWE Performance Center's parking lot area. It's there when Edge landed a spear onto Orton on the top of a semi-truck.
4 Edge Spears Dolph Ziggler - SmackDown (February 11, 2011)
Many fans have called Dolph Ziggler one of the best sellers in WWE. He could make someone's finishing move look like he's getting hit by a tornado and yet still make himself look good at the same time.
During his match against Edge on the February 11, 2011, episode of SmackDown, Edge's precious spear was banned by Vicki Guerrero. As the referee was distracted, that's when Edge flipped Ziggler around with a spear. The Rated-R Superstar came out with the win that night, even though he shouldn't have.
3 Edge Spears AJ Styles - Royal Rumble (2020)
Edge was thought to be out of in-ring action following his neck injury. However, when he returned at the 2020 Royal Rumble fans erupted with pure joy and excitement. Edge burst into the ring and landed spear after spear on anyone who stood his way. He eventually landed a devastating spear on AJ Styles, which caused an injury to Styles afterward.
2 Edge Spears Mick Foley Through A Flaming Table - WrestleMania 22
Prior to his hardcore match with Edge at WrestleMania 22, Mick Foley had been searching for his one true WrestleMania moment. The Hardcore Legend went year after year on the losing end of matches at WrestleMania and had not been part of some stellar matches at the event. That all changed in his match against Edge. The two warriors battled each other all over Chicago, leading to an epic moment when Edge gave Foley a spear through a flaming table.
1 Edge Spears A Dangling Jeff Hardy - WrestleMania 17 (2001)
Perhaps there isn't a ladder match as iconic as the triple threat match at WrestleMania 17. The Dudley Boyz, The Hardy Boyz, and Edge and Christian gave the Houston fans in attendance memories that will last for the rest of their lives.
