10 Edge's Brood Look

WWE Hall of Famer Edge made his surprising return to professional wrestling in 2020 after what was thought to be a career-ending injury. Since his return, Edge has been a main event star in WWE and has had some of the best matches of his career. He really sees this as a second chance and has delivered on that.

As part of the revival of his career, Edge has looked to his past. Edge's first big gimmick was as part of the vampire-like stable known as The Brood. He has been bringing back the dark Brood look on random occasions, but it was very prominent during his feud with Seth Rollins.

9 Bray Wyatt

There has been a lot of buzz around Bray Wyatt, following his shocking WWE release. He was thought to be one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling today. There was a lot of criticism around his Fiend character, but most fans knew that Bray Wyatt was not the cause of the creative problems with it.

Though he had adapted his character, Bray Wyatt did go back to his southern cult leader style character during his feud with Braun Strowman. Since the two were part of the Wyatt Family together it made sense to honor this version of him. Should Wyatt come back to the ring, it should be interesting to see if this character returns again.

8 Jeff Jarrett

WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett is one of the most decorated wrestlers in the history of the business. He had a great run in multiple companies and undoubtedly played a huge part in the rise of TNA. He has made sporadic appearances in WWE in the last few years and has done numerous backstage jobs.

In 2019, Jarrett returned in the Royal Rumble match to interrupt Elias' concert. He returned as his JJ character and sang a song to the delight of fans. He then reprised this same role the next night on Monday Night Raw, alongside his former protégé Road Dogg.

7 Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is a multiple-time World Champion and is a top star in WWE today. He has had a great career, and he possibly has not even reached his peak yet. He truly embraces every version of himself and adapts his character on a regular basis.

When he started out on the main roster he was part of one of the best stables in wrestling history; The Shield. Rollins teamed alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley) and the three used the stable to make names for themselves. In his most recent feud with Roman Reigns, Rollins came out to The Shield music and ring gear to throw their past in Reigns' face. Overall it made for a very entertaining aspect of their feud.

6 Chris Jericho

The first-ever AEW World Champion and wrestling icon, Chris Jericho has been in the business for over 30 years now. He has had some classic matches and has fought up against the best of the best. He is one of the few wrestlers to have worked with just about every major promotion, and he shows no signs of slowing down.

At the first-ever Double or Nothing event in 2019, Jericho was featured in the main event match against Kenny Omega. His entrance was a quick snapshot of his former personas. Fans saw someone portray different versions of him, leading to his actual entrance. It made for an exciting sight for those watching the event who are fans of Jericho. He even brought back The Painmaker for a match against Eddie Kingston with the AEW World Championship on the line. Not to mention, the return of The Lionheart for a bout against Jon Moxley.

5 Rey Mysterio

It is safe to say that Rey Mysterio is a Hall of Fame-worthy talent. He is a former WWE Champion and has had multiple other championships throughout his career. He is now expanding his legacy by being involved in a storyline with his son, Dominik Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio has honored the past on multiple occasions. He is famous for using unique entrance gear, and on occasion has used the gear to honor his past. The most notable entrance that Rey used to honor the past was when he paid tribute to his late friend Eddie Guerrero. Shortly after Guerrero's death, Mysterio honored him by using his iconic low-rider entrance.

4 The Sandman

ECW Legend The Sandman is one of the founding fathers of extreme. He put on some of the best matches that ECW had to offer. Sandman had some legendary feuds with stars like Rhyno, Raven, and many more.

When WWE decided to put on the One Night Stand PPV in 2005, it would not have been the same if The Sandman was not included. He was able to honor his original iconic ECW entrance as he came out from the crowd with Metallica's Enter Sandman playing. Fans rejoiced and sang along for what truly was a great moment for ECW fans.

3 The New Day

Some fans consider The New Day to be the best tag team in this era of professional wrestling. They have had multiple championship reigns and two of the three members have won World Championships. They are the perfect mixture of athletic ability and comic relief who can stand their own in a fight.

The New Day has honored the past in numerous ways since its start. Some include honoring former stars with their ring gear. One time, The New Day copied The Brood's supernatural entrance. There was also another time when they used Kofi Kingston's Jamaican character's entrance as a joke as well.

16-time World Champion John Cena is one of the most popular stars to ever come out of professional wrestling. He was the face of WWE for many years and has now become a top actor in Hollywood. Cena has adapted his character multiple times, but the biggest change was when he changed from rap star to the Cena we know today.

During his feud with MJF, Punk went back to his Ring of Honor roots. It was a big topic of discussion during the feud, so it fits into the story perfectly. Punk came out in his ROH gear and entrance music. It was a special tribute to himself and the fans that have followed him throughout the years.
