One of WWE's marquee superstars will reportedly be present at Raw next week.

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Edge is scheduled to appear at the upcoming edition of Raw, which will run inside the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio. We also know that Bobby Lashley and Ciampa will face off in a singles match for the United States Championship on Raw.

The Hall of Famer is currently in a feud with The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor), who kicked him out of the stable on the 6/5 Raw show. After nearly two months away from television, Edge returned at last week's SummerSlam pay-per-view and attacked his former allies, thus helping Rey and Dominik Mysterio defeat Balor and Priest in their tag team bout.

Edge cut a passionate promo on this week's episode of Raw, where he promised to end The Judgment Day. The Ultimate Opportunist also came to the aid of The Mysterios during an attack from The Judgment Day. He attempted a Spear on Balor, but Edge inadvertently hit Dominik with it instead.

Edge-Judgment-Day-WWE

Johnson also previously reported that there were plans for Edge and his wife, Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, to appear on the SummerSlam go-home Raw episode at Madison Square Garden last week. That obviously never materialized, but Edge made his rumored return at the marquee pay-per-view anyway.

The next WWE pay-per-view is Clash at the Castle, which will run on Sept. 3 inside Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Perhaps next week's episode of Raw will consist of a buildup an Edge-Judgment Day match at the pay-per-view.

Edge Reportedly Disagreed With Idea For Judgment Day Stable

WWE's decision to kick Edge out of the faction came as a massive surprise, since the faction was only a couple of months old. After he was booted out of the stable, it was reported that Edge opposed the idea of using "supernatural" elements for The Judgment Day.
