15 Golfers That Are Dating Way Out Of Their League

Nobody gets into golf for the women. Think back to your high school years and try to remember who the girls generally flocked to. It was the football players, the basketball players, or, if you're Canadian, the hockey players. Yet, as the old saying goes, money can't buy you happiness, but it can get you a beautiful woman, or something like that. Look no further than a balding Tiger Woods, who hooked up with hundreds of women and managed to keep his sexual exploits under wraps for years all while being the best golfer on the planet. And as you'll see in this list, there are several golfers dating way out of their league.

That isn't to say there's some good looking dudes in golf. In fact, the culture of the sport has changed considerably in recent years. No longer are the John Dalys and Fuzzy Zoellers of the world dominating the sport; instead it's the young, in-shape professionals like Rory McIlroy, Jason Day, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, and Rickie Fowler. We're confident those dudes wouldn't need the money to find an attractive partner, but it doesn't hurt. With that in mind, here's the current 15 hottest wives and girlfriends of PGA golfers. Make your own judgement on who's dating well out of their league - it shouldn't be difficult.

15 David Toms

via kutersgolfkolumn.blogspot.ca

David Toms is the 379th ranked golfer in the world, but 50-year-old has a high-ranking wife, at least according to a 2003 Sports Illustrated poll. Sonya Toms ranked third in the poll asking which golfer had the hottest wife or girlfriend on tour and, while 13 years have passed, she has aged wonderfully.

A Louisiana native, Sonya met David well before he was a world-class golfer and the couple has been happily married for over 15 years. Sonya wasn't a fan of the sport when the two met, but could often be seen supporting her husband when he would be in contention at a tournament. She's also an active member of the Tour Wives Association and works with the David Toms Foundation, which provides funding and opportunities for underprivileged children.

14 Phil Mickelson

Look, we're not saying Phil Mickelson is an ugly dude, but he's never going to make the cover of Men's Fitness. And given what we've been able to see and read about his personality, perhaps he might not be the best catch on tour. Yet, he somehow landed a bombshell of a wife in Amy Mickelson.

Phil met Amy at Arizona State University in 1992. He had just graduated and was beginning his career on tour and she, of course, was a cheerleader, working for the Phoenix Suns. Together, the couple have welcomed three children into the world and worked extensively toward numerous charitable causes, including those working toward breast cancer research. We've seen Phil battle it out on the course throughout his career, but Amy has overcome far greater obstacles, beating breast cancer in 2009.

13 Henrik Stenson

Sometimes stereotypes can be harmless and accurate. For instance, if we told you Henrik Stenson's wife is from Sweden, you would likely assume she's an incredibly hot blonde. And you would be right. Stenson, who became the first Swede to win a major in 2016, won his biggest prize in the 1990s when he met his wife, Emma Lofgren.

Though both are from Sweden, they met in North America, while Lofgren was a member of the University of South Carolina women's golf team. She wasn't a standout player, but had four top ten finishes during her four-year collegiate career. They married in Dubai in 2006 and lived there for six years before moving to the United States. A former golfer and skier, Lofgren has given birth to three children, but has kept herself in great shape.

12 Jason Day

It's certainly less common for men to date older women, but nobody is going to fault Jason Day for going against the norm. His wife, Ellie Day, is only two years older than him after all, and is an absolute stunner. The two were introduced through Jason's caddie, Collin Swatton, and married in 2009. They have two children together and currently reside in Ohio.

As popular as Jason is on the golf course, his wife has a large following on social media. She has over 27,000 followers, who presumably enjoy her takes on The Bachelor. More than anything, however, she's a proud supporter of her husband, routinely sending out well wishes during his tournaments. In fact, she has even supported him on the course, serving as his caddie, along with their son Dash, during the 2016 Masters Par 3 Contest.

11 Luke Donald

via zimbio.com

Like many of the couples on this list, Luke Donald met his wife Diane while attending university. After years of dating, the Northwestern grads got engaged in 2006 and married the following year in Greece, where Diane's family is from - her maiden name is Antonopoulos.

Diane is extremely active on social media, often posting pictures of the couple's two young daughters - Elle and Sophia Ann. Her Instagram account also highlights the couple's mutual love of sports. In addition to snowboarding, ice skating, and golf photos, there's plenty showing their Chicago Cubs fandom. During the team's World Series run last season, she detailed her genuine excitement on Twitter. Diane is 33-years-old, but she doesn't look a day over 25. Luke hasn't won a tournament since 2012, but he's winning every day with Diane as his wife.

10 Matt Kuchar

Other than pursing a career as a professional golfer, attending the Georgia Institute of Technology might have been the best decision of Matt Kuchar's life. It was there that the Florida native met his future wife, Sybi Parker, who was a member of the school's tennis team at the time. Interestingly enough, it was tennis that brought the two together, as Matt grew up wish aspirations of playing the sport professionally before realizing he was a better golfer.

Still, the couple continues to play tennis together, reportedly even competing in mixed doubles recreation tournaments. They won the consolation title of USTA National Husband/Wife Doubles Championship in 2009. They married in 2003 and have two children together. Though Matt has begun showing signs of aging, especially on top of his head, Sybi remains as beautiful as ever.

9 Justin Rose

via zimbio.com

2013 U.S. Open champion Justin Rose has been with his wife, Kate, for over 15 years and married for over half of that time, tying the knot in 2006. Like Justin, Kate was born in the United Kingdom, but the pair met in the United States while Justin was a few years into his career on tour. They were able to stay close during those early years as Justin helped Kate get a job as an assistant at IMG, the firm that represented him.

Prior to taking the job at IMG, Kate was an up-and-coming gymnast in England, once thought to be a future star in the sport. And while she didn't fulfill her potential in the sport, we have to think he flexibility was one of the things that drew Justin to the blonde beauty.

8 Gary Woodland

Gary Woodland has just two PGA Tour wins in his career, but the 32-year-old is one of the biggest mashers in the sport, known for his ability to hit the ball a great distance. Off the course, he's been hitting home runs for a long time. He recently married his longtime girlfriend Gabby Granado, who is a bombshell in every sense of the word, and, just over a week ago, he announced that Gabby was pregnant with twins on Instagram with the humorous caption, "First time I've been excited about a double."

You have to give it to the guy as well. He knows how lucky he is, captioning a photo of his beautiful bride on their wedding day with, "Definitely the biggest Win of my life." You're not wrong, Gary.

7 Austin Johnson

via dailymail.co.uk

Okay, technically we're cheating here with the inclusion of Samantha Maddox, but we're going out on a limb and assuming few people reading this are sticklers for the rules. Simply put, we can't ignore the Johnson's ability to get incredibly hot women. We know about Dustin's significant other (we'll get to her later), but his brother Austin, who serves as his caddie, has some skills of his own.

Austin has been dating Maddox for a number of years, though they have yet to marry. She's a graduate of the College of Charleston, where she had a prolific collegiate tennis career and earned a degree in accounting. She's a tall, slender bombshell, but somehow still has a decent looking booty to boot. How do you do it, Johnsons?

6 Ricky Barnes

Athletes tend to date athletes, which is understandable, although we have a hard time seeing the connection between Ricky Barnes and his wife, Suzanne Stonebarger Barnes. Ricky is either an incredibly nice and funny guy, or he's working with a large driver, because Suzanne is a gorgeous goddess.

Though she's the same age as Ricky, you wouldn't guess so by looking at them both. A former beach volleyball player, Suzanne has maintained her great physique developed during her collegiate career at the University of Nevada-Reno, where she earned three all-conference selections. Part of her young looks could also be attributed to the fact she manages her own skin care line - Signature23 Skincare. Ricky and Suzanne married in 2010, one year after she and her beach volleyball teammate posed nude together for Playboy.

5 Jason Dufner

via chicago.barstoolsports.com

While we can't state with certainty that Amanda Dufner is dating anyone on the PGA Tour, there are multiple reports that she's currently dating Tiger Woods. In January of 2017 she reportedly purchased a home in Jupiter, Florida, just miles from Woods' mansion. Woods and Dufner, by all accounts, were involved in a fling that led to the former's breakup with Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, and, of course, contributed to Amanda's divorce from her then-husband, Jason Dufner.

Regardless of who she's seeing in the golfing world - or if she's seeing anyone - there's no denying Amanda Dufner belongs in this list. It's all sorts of gross that she hooked up with Tiger, but she's so good looking that it really doesn't make a dent in her overall appeal.

4 Webb Simpson

There are millions of breakup stories which involve one partner stating it's a good idea for the couple to spend time apart. In 99 percent of those cases, it leads to a nasty breakup. But for Webb Simpson and his wife Taylor Dowd, it apparently proved they were right for each other all along. The couple dated while attending Wake Forest and broke up for a full year after graduating. Taylor says they didn't even speak to each other once during that year.

"Then we got back together, and five months later we were engaged, and five months later, we were married," she explained in a story for Golf.com. Webb is certainly a lucky man as Taylor is a blonde beauty with legs for days.

3 Paul Casey

via heavy.com

Former world number three Paul Casey met Pollyanna Woodward at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Formula 1 Chequered Flag Ball in 2011. They got engaged over Christmas in 2013 and welcomed their first son in September 2014.

Like Casey, Woodward is a native of the United Kingdom, and while Casey is a world-class golfer, some English natives might be more familiar with Woodward - and not just because she's a gorgeous blonde bombshell. The 34-year-old served as a co-host on Channel 5's The Gadget Show for a number of years and has been featured in a variety of television shows. In addition to being a television personality, she also writes about technology for a number of publications. Casey has been married once before, but if he's smart he'll hold on to Woodward.

2 Daniel Berger

The last couple of years have been great for Daniel Berger. The Florida native was named the 2014-15 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year, and shortly after receiving the award began dating Tori Slater, who, if you ask us, is the real prize. Her looks have earned her modeling and advertising gigs, as well as over 20,000 Instagram followers.

Tori is a thin blonde with a stunning smile and beautiful face. She also golfs on occasion, recently posting an Instagram photo of both her and Berger on the golf course with Mark Wahlberg. Berger has won just won PGA Tour event in his career thus far, but as long as he's dating Slater he'll have one of the best consolation prizes to go home to at the end of every weekend.

1 Dustin Johnson

via people.com

As if there was ever any doubt. Paulina Gretzky, the daughter of the greatest hockey player to ever live, has long been not only the hottest partner on the PGA Tour, but one of the hottest social media celebrities. In fact, her selfie game and willingness to bare skin once earned backlash from The Great One himself. And while she has since eased off on the excessive Instagram posts, there's a reason she has over 500,000 followers.

The couple isn't yet married, but they have welcomed their first child, Tatum Gretzky Johnson, and Paulina is currently pregnant with a second child. Johnson, the former bad boy of the PGA, has certainly turned his life around; in addition to recently becoming the top-ranked golfer in the world, he's engaged to the top-ranked WAG in golf as per our list, certainly an honor every golfer aspires to.
