Canadian Olympic Team Promotes LGBTQ Inclusion

The Canadian Olympic Team, better known as Team Canada, released a PSA in support of LGBTQ inclusion in sports. The #OneTeam video includes the personal stories of Team Canada athletes, including Olympic speed skater Anastasia Bucsic, who came out in 2013.

Erin McLeod, a keeper for the Canadian women's football team, recently opened up about how much more she was able to focus on being an athlete since coming out publicly in a 2012 CBC interview. McLeod is currently playing for Canada in the Women's World Cup.

The Toronto Raptors' mascot, Raptor and Raptors Dance Pak will be walking with Team Canada as #OneTeam in Toronto's Pride Parade on June 28.
