Chris Jericho has bluntly stated on Twitter that he is "not interested" in having Brock Lesnar as a guest on his podcast.
Brock Lesnar is something of an elusive man. In a world dominated by social media where we can find anything out about anyone, we still know very little about The Beast's private life. That's because he lives on a remote farm with his family and keeps himself to himself. He used to live on a different remote farm, but clearly didn't feel detached enough from society.
You'll also rarely see or hear an interview with Lesnar. He doesn't even cut his own promos in WWE as he has Paul Heyman to do that for him. In fact, we can't remember the last time we heard the Universal Champion's voice. Also, the only interview we can recall him being a part of was when Stone Cold quizzed him for his podcast on the WWE Network.
One fan in particular is clearly eager to hear more from Lesnar. He tweeted a number of different podcast hosts in an attempt to get them to chase The Beast for interviews, as well as tagging Lesnar himself. Chris Jericho was one of the hosts tagged and he did not beat around the bush with his reply. Y2J quoted the tweet and wrote just two words, "not interested."
It's not as if Jericho doesn't have big names on Talk Is Jericho either. The IWGP Intercontinental Champion has names from all walks of life on the podcast, some of which are extremely famous. Guns 'N' Roses guitarist Slash was his guest just a few short weeks ago. When it comes to Lesnar, however, Jericho does not seem to be phased in the slightest.
It's no secret that Lesnar and Jericho aren't exactly the best of friends. The two of them reportedly clashed backstage after The Beast busted Randy Orton open during the main event of SummerSlam 2016. It's also probably safe to assume that when it comes to appearing on Talk Is Jericho, the feeling from Lesnar is likely a mutual one. It's a shame because an interview between the two might be something fans would be extremely interested in, even if Y2J isn't.
