They say that "blondes have more fun." We'll take that one step further, and say that gorgeous blondes like Erin Andrews and Melanie Collins make watching sports way more fun. Andrews has become something of a legend among sideline reporters, covering college and professional football for the better part of the last two decades. Collins is something of an up-and-coming contender, working her way up through the college football world as well. After a few other pit stops, she has made her way in the world of golf coverage. We'd be remiss to say that both of their success has been earned, although it cannot be denied they are both stunningly beautiful.

At the end of the day, we know that they don't really add much to the game itself, although Andrews did inadvertently become a part of history when she interviewed then-Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. That was when when he publicly bashed former-San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree. But other than that, apart from a scant few truisms that you'll hear at every sporting event they cover, they're just there to break up all the testosterone that takes place at a given sporting event. And you know what? We're quite fine with that. As red-blooded males who love sports and beautiful women, we're completely fine with being able to enjoy both of them at one time.

That not withstanding, Collins and Andrews are definitely great reasons to tune into a sporting event. But which one will do a better job of grabbing your attention? You can be the judge of that.

16 Melanie Collins: White Tank And Daisy Dukes

Seeing a beautiful blond wearing a white tank top and tiny "Daisy Duke" jean shorts is about as All-American as apple pie, baseball, and the Thighmaster. Even though this picture is supposed to be a "glam shot" taken by a photographer specializing in fashion portraits, we don't care one bit about the original intention. We'd venture to guess that Melanie Collins would prefer to be known for her professional work ethic. However she has to realize that this is the type of picture that college guys all over the country are going to blow up into a poster-sized photo and hang it up smack dab in the middle of their apartment or their dorm room. In other words, this picture makes Collins look like a 21st century icon.

15 Erin Andrews: Green Is Our Lucky Color

We'll bet you there are a lot of women who look up to Erin Andrews, and see her as a role model of what they what they want to do with their sports broadcasting careers. We'll also bet you there are a whole host of women who will jealously tell you that Andrews has only gotten this far in her sports broadcasting career because of her perfect looks and physique. The truth is, the latter group probably isn't wrong. But far be it from us to tell someone who's got the beauty and the body of Andrews to cover up either of those. This is already a dress that would make the wearer turn heads in whatever room they entered. But when you put it on Andrews' exercise-hardened body, you just take it to the next level.

14 Melanie Collins: Wonder Woman

Alright, so we'll fully admit that neither Melanie Collins or her outfit look anything like Gal Gadot or her costume from the 2016 hit film that the latter starred in. But then again, Collins wasn't trying to play the part of a movie character for a film in the DC Extended Universe. Rather, she was just rocking one of those costumes that you get from one of those Halloween pop-up stores, which was a replica of the old Wonder Woman costume worn by Lynda Carter back in the mid-to-late 1970s. However, Collins does have a little bit of experience in front of the camera, as she worked as a television weather broadcasting woman for AccuWeather, where her forecasts were seen by people in over 150 cities around the country.

13 Erin Andrews: One Of The Boys

One of the things that makes Erin Andrews so profoundly attractive is that she's the girl who can wear jeans and a hoodie to the bar, carry on an intelligent conversation about sports while crushing a plate of cheese fries and a pitcher. She can also be a super girly-girl who gets totally dolled up, goes out with the rest of the girls, and gets drinks bought for her all night. Anyway, back on topic. In 2012, Erin Andrews left ESPN to join Fox Sports to basically be their ace sideline reporter. She covered everything from the MLB All-Star Game, the World Series, the Dayton 500, and of course, the NFL. In this photo, she's right there being one of the guys again, taking a photo with Fox's ace NFL broadcasting team of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

12  Melanie Collins: Selfie Game On Point

You could caption this photo "certified perfect". Even if it does look like it's a bit too touched up professionally, or that she's probably wearing a lot of makeup, Melanie Collins looks absolutely perfect in this photo. While most guys think it's vain and pointless when they see their girl taking selfies of themselves, if you had Melanie Collins sitting in the passenger seat of your car and snapping photos of herself, you'd go ahead and let her take all the selfies her heart desires, and then probably ask her to text you a few. Of course, good luck getting Collins alone in a car with you. She's been romantically linked to former Nashville Predators player James Neal, which is probably why she referred to Nashville as her "happy place" in the photo.

11 Erin Andrews: The Fitness Model

Erin Andrews graced the cover of the June, 2017 edition of Health magazine wearing little more than a red bikini and a big smile. If the editors of that cover photo to grab the attention of any and all male onlookers, they accomplished their objective with flying colours. In the cover story, Andrews talks about her love for Orange theory workouts (the newest and hippest trend in overpriced group training classes), and how she was "obsessed" with bone broth. You could say that all that fitness and health stuff she's into secretly makes her nothing more than a "fitness hipster," but when you take a look at her sculpted arms, shapely legs, and well-toned midsection, whatever she's doing is clearly working for her.

10 Melanie Collins: On The Golf Course

Without speaking on behalf of all guys, there's something profoundly attractive about a girl who can turn every head in the room, but can hang with the guys when playing sports. There's also something really beautiful about a girl who can swing a golf club with the best of them. We're not 100% sure if Melanie Collins is actually a good golfer herself, but she sure looks good pretending to do so. Then again, she could be just playing off the fact that she's done extensive work as a reporter for PGA.com, PGATour.com, and the Golf Channel. Most recently, Collins worked as the co-host of the "Big Break" show on the Golf Channel. With the way she looks, you know a bunch of middle-aged male golfers would happily take five minutes of their time to talk to her.

9 Erin Andrews: The Country Music Fan

Here's a secret regarding why most guys would want to go to a country music concert, even if they're not country music fans themselves: because the women at these concerts are often beautiful. It's one of the few places on Earth where you can meet a girl who looks amazing in a sundress, can drink as much as you can, will be the perfect girl you can bring home to mom, and will rock your world when the lights go out. Now, I don't think Erin Andrews is much for the drinking part, but tell me you can't see her checking off all three of those other boxes? Andrews looks stunning in that white dress she's wearing. She really is the definition of the perfect woman!

8 Melanie Collins: The Glam Shot

Melanie Collins' website describes herself as "one of the youngest and freshest faces on National Television." We'll forgive the bizarre capitalization and agree with that title, considering her face is quite easy on the eyes. Obviously, given the fact that she's unquestionably attractive, it's no surprise she's steadily risen through the sports broadcasting world, working the sidelines at some of the best sports programs in the country, and having her photo taken alongside a whole host of big-name professional athletes.

It's also no surprise that when she's covered many of those events, she has many fans who are quite willing to profess their love for her, including when "Brutus," the mascot for the Ohio State University Buckeyes, fake proposed to her when Collins made a work visit to Columbus.

7 Erin Andrews: Dancing With The Stars

Even though the rest of her (rockin') body is cut off in this photo, we still get a chance to look at her killer smile, as she's clearly at some promotional event involved with the "Dancing with the Stars" dance competition television series. Back in February of 2014, Andrews replaced Brooke Burke-Charvet as the co-host of the show, which made perfect sense considering she was a very successful alumna of the show herself. In the 10th season of the show, Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy made it all the way to the season Finals, but finished in third place behind figure skater Evan Lysacek (and partner Anna Trebunskaya), and the season-winning Nicole Scherzinger (with partner Derek Hough). The fact that a sideline reporter finished at the top, alongside a figure skater and former Pussycat Doll says plenty about how multi-talented Andrews is.

6 Melanie Collins: Working The NBA All-Star Game

Peruse through Melanie Collins' Instagram feed or the photo section of her personal website, and you'll see a ton of photos of her working NBA games in various capacities. And she's not attending these events and being some wallflower while there. Rather, there are photos of her talking to superstars like Kobe Bryant and Dwayne Wade, among others. Or, in the case of this photo, she's plopped squarely between Chris Bosh and Jameer Nelson. Considering the guys those two have had to share benches with, we're sure they didn't mind sitting in close proximity to someone who looks like Collins. Lord knows she probably smells a lot better than some of the other sweaty athletes they've shared a bench with, during the middle of an NBA game.

5 Erin Andrews: All-American Southern Girl

If anyone from the marketing department of that popular dating website that targets people of the farming and rural community want a free tip on how to attract more users, here you go: steal this picture of Erin Andrews, and put it on the front page of your website. If you don't see your membership rates triple over the next 30 days, we'll buy you all lunch. While Andrews hails from Maine, she grew up in San Antonio Texas and Valrico, Florida, and then worked in Atlanta, Georgia right out of college. By her own admission, she's happy to chat it up about grits, and loves going to LSU football tailgates because of the Crawfish boil. So while she might look like a picturesque Florida beach bum, she's actually your classic southern girl that every country boy dreams of.

4 Melanie Collins: Fantasy Football Guru

We don't know about everyone else, but to us, a real "triple threat" girl is someone who enjoys watching sports, can play sports with the boys, and can hold their own in a conversation about sports. To find such a girl is rare, but when you do, it's profoundly attractive. We know Collins likes sports. We think she can play some sports (at least golf, anyway). And add on the fact that she was the first-ever host of Yahoo's "Fantasy Football Live" show, and then joined DirectTV's Fantasy Zone channel, and you see why Collins becomes that much more attractive in the yes of so many guys. In fairness, you could probably watch Collins' show on mute and still enjoy the broadcast. But if you do bother to listen to her, it's great to hear that she has insightful things to say.

3 Erin Andrews: Thousand Watt Smile

Erin Andrews has the unenviable task of always making sure she looks her best on camera -- and having a smile that could light up any room certainly helps -- while being able to hold her own in a male-dominated industry. That's why so many publications have picked her brains on how she maintains such a flawless body, despite spending so much time on the road traveling. Showing off her smile above, at a Super Bowl week party sponsored by Men's Fitness, Andrews has openly talked about how she wishes she could be "one of the boys" and polish off a massive steak and a bunch of side orders, but instead, she's worked hard to prepare and travel with healthy snacks and lots of different nutritional items (like coconut water) to help her avoid the temptation of eating poorly.

2 Melanie Collins: All Black Everything

We're not even going to lie to you. If we came home from a long day of work and saw Melanie Collins lying there on the sofa in this exact pose, we'd take her by the hand (or try to throw her over our shoulder), go straight to the bedroom, and "get down to business, asking her to take off only the dress, while leaving on only the eye black and her shoes (and she can maybe keep the football close by, too). There's something incredibly alluring about a woman wearing short black dress and provocative black shoes that go up her legs, as you can see in this picture. And the eye black makes both part of a football-obsessed guy's brain go haywire, as it triggers the love for physical sports and female beauty at one time. In other words, we've figured out Collins' secret: she drives both sides of a guy's brain crazy.

1 Erin Andrews: Happily Taken

Sorry to end this post on a dour note, but if any of you thought you might had a shot of locking up Erin Andrews for yourselves, you'll be sadly disappointed. Andrews began dating hockey player Jarrett Stoll, the former long-time forward for the Los Angeles Kings and Edmonton Oilers, back in 2012, just months after Stoll and the Kings won the Stanley Cup. Even after Stoll was arrested in the summer of 2015, and charged with possession, Andrews stood beside her man like a good woman does. The couple got through that affair, and likely as a reward for Andrews' faith in him, Stoll proposed to her in the winter of 2016 at Disneyland's exclusive Clubb 33, almost exactly four years after they started dating. About six months after that, on June 24th, 2017, the couple got married in a sunset ceremony in Montana.
