Being a female sportscaster must be an incredibly difficult job. These women deal with some of the most immature athletes, coaches, and fans, all while trying to further their career. While being beautiful is always a benefit in front the camera for them, it's professionalism and hard-hitting journalism of female sportscasters that brings in viewers around the world.

Although, many of these men revert back to their primal instincts around the stunning reporters, subjecting them to unwanted embarrassment. Sometimes the women will just shrug it off and some have even gone so far as to reenact the moment, with the roles reversed.

Just like female athletes often find themselves stared at in ridiculous fashion, a lot of female sportscasters go through the same thing. Here's to hoping that both male athletes and fans walking by can control some of their more primal instincts when walking by a lovely female sportscaster... or at least, be a little more subtle.

While we don't condone the lustful gazes, we can all laugh at the fact that these men got caught by the all-seeing camera at some inopportune moments. "Keep your eyes up here" with 15 hilarious pictures of men caught staring at female sportscasters.

15 Lost In Your Eyes

We start off the list with a high school athlete who gives new meaning to the phrase 'lost in your eyes.'  In 2016, young baller Samm Jones of DeLasalle High School in Minnesota had his brief moment of fame as he got lost into this reporter's soul. During the post-game interview with KSTC-TV female sportscaster Allie Arlt following the Islanders, head coach Dave Thorson answered questions, while Jones slipped deeper and deeper into a fantasy world.

Obviously, the gaping stare went viral, but it may not have entirely been the teenager's fault.

He later came out to say “I was told not to look at the camera.” While some of these instances are just downright creepy, Jones' gaze into Arlt's eyes seems like it is genuine!  Now onto some more men getting caught staring.

14 Heidi Watney's Admirer

Sideline reporter Heidi Watney has an ample resume that goes well-beyond her other-worldly beauty! Although an athlete in high school, Watney turned her attention to the microphone at the University of San Diego. She also participated in the 2002 Miss California pageant, finish as the first runner-up.

After college, the talented reporter took her skills to Beantown where she hosted a few Red Sox post-game shows over the years for NESN, ESPN, and other local sports networks. She became so popular in New England that the Celtic rock band, Dropkick Murphys, featured her in their music video for "Going Out in Style".  That's one hell of a portfolio!

During one of her dugout updates, you can see a fan in the first row soaking in the breadth of wonder that Watney exudes.  His subtle smile says it all!

13 Jordan Bell Gets Caught

23-year-old big man for Golden State, Jordan Bell, still has a lot to learn about NBA etiquette. Early this season, he stepped outside the baseline to in-bounds the ball against the Lakers, who are coached by the Warriors former coach, Luke Walton. Anyway, Bell bumped into NBC Sports sideline reporter, Kerith Burke, who was giving the commentators a floor update during the game.

Instead of quickly apologizing, Bell proceeded to eyeball Burke from head-to-toe, taking a prolonged stop at her "lower" back.

Not only did he get caught by the cameras, but he got caught in the act.

Burke quickly spun around to the 6'9" power forward performing a full TSA body scan. Truly an embarrassing moment for both professionals, but the incident was just laughed off without harm nor foul.

12 The Golden State Warriors Have No Shame

Bell wasn't the only Warrior to be caught scandalously eyeing a reporter. In fact, multiple member of the Golden State squad have been caught creepily staring at sideline and locker room reporter, Rosalyn Gold-Onwude.

We'll start out with former UNC Tarheel, Harrison Barnes. A few years ago, following a win against Memphis, Gold-Onwude headed into the locker room to grab a few post-game one-on-ones for the highlight reel.  Turns out that Barnes has something other than basketball on his mind with his lustful gaze at the female sportscaster. But, he's not the only Warrior to drop their jaw at the site of the Gold-Onwude.

Even their seemingly-harmless coach, Steve Kerr, risked it all to grab a glimpse of the talented reporter's backside. The camera caught him breaking his neck to catch sight of her as they crossed paths on the sideline. Don't worry - we aren't done with the Gold-Onwude! Just keep on reading!

11 You're Making It Weird

What in the world? Before we dive into this overly-creepy and hilarious stare, let's go over a little background from the situation. In the second round of the 2016 NCAA tournament, Notre Dame was on the verge of being upset my Cinderella squad, Stephen F. Austin. But with the luck of the Irish, ND edged out a 76-75 victory thanks to a last-second tip-in by Rex Pflueger.

The crowd went wild, teammates rejoiced, but guard Matt Farrell had to go and make things weird.

The entire team joined Zach Auguste in the post-game interview with CBS sideline reporter, Allie LaForce. Hilarity ensued as Farrell enhanced this victorious moment with a creepy, yet obviously orchestrated, stare down of the veteran sportscaster. That's the type of look that makes women cover their drink at the bar!

10 Justin Bartha Awkward Interview

'We found Doug!' Actor Justin Bartha, most notably of The Hangover fame, took part in a brief sideline interview with MSG's Jill Martin, back in 2015. Originally supposed to air for the segment title "A New York Minute" Bartha's uncomfortable attempt at flirting made the interview seem more like an hour. From him taking the microphone from Martin, to an awkward arm around her shoulder, this actor should have had a few more lessons before bombing on camera.

But, this list isn't about awkwardness, it's about men hilariously staring into the souls of sportscasters with their lustful eyes. As you can see from this snapshot, Bartha was in full-on staring mode. Just stick to making progressively worse movies 'Doug' and leave the rest to the professionals!

9 Mike Carp Strains His Neck

In a typical three-and-a-half-hour baseball game, there is only maybe 15 minutes of true action.  The players kill-time by lounging around the dug and enjoying the breeze.  They lean up against the fence like their actually paying attention to the action on the diamond, but in reality, they are just 'bro-ing out!'

That's when former Red Sox utility man, Mike Carp, decided to break his neck following Red Sox sideline reporter Elle Duncan, down the baseline.

Sure, you can use the excuse of 'men will be men,' but at least Carp could have been more subtle - or kept his neck still!

His teammate probably did the same thing, but as least he had some elegance and grace behind the stare, hiding behind the tinted sunglasses. For one time, Carp should have kept his eyes off the prize.

8 Brendan Rodgers Can't Help Himself

It's time to hop across the pond for some international hilarious pictures of men caught staring. Former Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, booked a one-way ticket to internet lore with this uncomfortable mile-high stare down. Following a 2012 Europa League victory against Udinese, the manager was interviewed by Liverpool TV reporter Clair Rourke on the team plane only to have his wandering eyes lead him astray. At first, Rodgers tried to keep his composure, staring straight-ahead in order to avoid awkward eye-contact.

But, as he looked into Rourke's welcoming eyes, Rodgers couldn't resist the temptation any longer, and he proceed to look directly at her chest. His primal instincts took over as he searched for the reporter's skin, but he quickly gathered his thoughts and composed himself. While Rodgers may have dropped his line of vision only for a brief moment, the camera caught the stare, and we laugh about it today!

7 The Bee's Knees!

Looks like cricketer Virat Kohli got himself into a little bit of a stickey wicket during a locker-room interview in early 2017. The Indian batsman made headlines with this ogle of stunning IPL presenter, Archana Vijaya. Wait - clearly there's nothing wrong with this photo, right? Just look! Kohli seems to be reading Vijaya's note card or iPad or whatever the heck is on her lap. But, that's not what the tabloids want you to think.

The not-so-reputable Indian news publication, DNA, reported that the two-time ICC ODI Player of the Year was a little too enamored by the ripped holes in Vijaya's jeans. Also, they tweeted that his stare is 'unlikely to please' his girlfriend, Anushka Sharma.

Seriously? It must have been a slow day in the cricket world for that kind of headline to be concocted from the interview. Or are unaware of India's secret knee obsession? Either way, this news is hilarious, yet utterly ridiculous.

6 Risky Ref

We told you that we'd head back to the always-talented Rosalyn Gold-Onwude.  This time, an NBA referee got involved in the stare down action. During a 2015 match-up between the Warriors and the Bucks, the camera caught the ref just chillin' in his fantasy world curled-up next to Gold-Onwude.

Clearly, the guy had to know he we was on camera. If that was the case, he clearly didn't care about getting caught.

Creepy? Yes. Understandable? Eh, maybe. Hilarious? Extremely. It looks like the stunning sideline reporter has put this NBA ref into a trance. His face is lost in a different world, perhaps one where the two are lounging on the beach, or wrestling in the sheets.  Only the most powerful witch-doctor can break him out of this debilitating spell!  Don't worry ref, that wasn't a bad call!

5 Unrequited Love

Rounding out the top five of our hilarious pictures of men caught staring at female reporters is this overly-excited Blackhawks fan.  This guy laid his emotions on the table, telling then-CSN reporter, Sarah Kustok, "I love you Sarah, you're so pretty and beautiful, I love you!" Normally, this type of interaction with a female sportscaster turns awkward, but this man's genuine adoration for Kustok leaves us with a wholesome smile.

Now off the ice and onto the court, Kustok is the sideline reporter for the Brooklyn Nets of the NBA. Throughout her career, the talented and beautiful sportscaster has covered hockey, basketball, football, and even baseball, as well as anchoring a few sports shows.  You know? I think we are starting to fall in love with Sarah too!

4 Jets Can't Get Enough Sainz

Mark Sanchez may be infamous for the 'butt fumble,' but today, we spotlight the Jets organization for a different king of infamy. The former TV Azteca reporter, Ines Sainz, was covering New York's training camp in 2010 when she was the subject of "embarrassing" treatment by the franchise's players and staff.

Per witnesses, the team was running drills in practice intentionally next to the sideline so they could be within eye-shot of the Mexican beauty.

Even in the locker room, Sainz was allegedly the subject of unwanted hoots and hollers made by players; cat-calling in a typical New York fashion. The NFL soon opened an official inquiry into the sexual misbehavior of the Jets' players. While nothing came of the investigation, many believe that Sainz acted unprofessionally with the team, prompting the ogles and shouts. While the situation may be more inappropriate than hilarious, it's always fun to laugh at the Jets!

3 Namath's False Start With Kolber

Good ol' 'Browadway Joe!" In 2003, the HOF QB drank one too many cocktails at the tailgate leading one of the creepiest (yet hilarious) interviews of all-time. As ESPN sideline reporter Suzy Kolber rambled off a series of questions, Namath continued to drunkenly blurt out his responses.

After Kolber asked him about the Jets recent struggles, Namath creepily smiled while staring lustfully at the reporter.  Capping off the cringe-worthy moment, he managed to slur, "I wanna kiss you. I couldn't care less about the team stru-gg-ling."

Kolber remained professional after the unwanted advance, but was clearly shaken by Namath's comment. It took the reporter almost a decade to finally speak publicly about the ordeal. Namath quickly apologized for the incident, but younger generations will only know the great Jets QB as 'that creepy old man who tried to kiss Suzy Kolber.'

2 Rachel Nichols Showered With Love

From an NFL creepy old white man to an NBA one, we move onto Miami Heat president Pat Riley and NBA reporter Rachel Nichols. In the post-game celebration of the Heat's 2013 NBA Championship after a seemingly-normal interview, Riley decided that Nichols should join in on the team celebration.

He proceeded to shower her with champagne in one of the most hilarious locker-room exchanges in the league's history.

As Riley held the bottle over Nichols head, she proceeded to make a provocative facial expression while trying to catch some of the bubbly in her mouth (I think you've got the picture). Can you blame her though? It's Riley's fault for trying to douse a professional reporter while she's trying to do her job! Just face it: rich men can get away with anything!  Don't believe me, try dumping champagne on your WAG and see if they react with a smile!

1 Chris Gayle Just Doesn't Care

Finally, we jump back to the world of cricket with our number one hilarious picture of men staring at female sportscasters. The Jamaican opening-batsman decided to take a pre-match interview into his own hands in January 2016, asking out Ten Sport's reporter Melanie McLaughlin on a date.  He said...

"To see your eyes for the first time is nice ... Hopefully we can have a drink afterwards. Don't blush, baby."

Damn man, that's a little much for live television don't you think?  McLaughlin did not take kindly to the Gayle's suggestion (understandably) and seemed notably embarrassed for the rest of the interview.  How could you not be embarrassed by that curveball?

Gayle has since apologized for his 'inappropriate' behavior, but due to his track record of being a creepy ladies man, you'll probably see another picture of him ogling and flirting with female sportscasters in the future!
