Last week, the Baltimore Orioles played a home game against the Chicago White Sox in an empty stadium. The Orioles actually played great without their home fans, winning 8-2. The Orioles then played the Rays in Tampa, which counted as home games for Baltimore.
What was the reason? Well, we all know why they had to do it (the riots in Baltimore) but this skit on Saturday Night Live featured announcers on a sports broadcast talking about the Orioles game and awkwardly trying to avoid the subject of the riots.
SNL had a great week for sports spoofs, as they also poked fun at the Mayweather/Pacquiao super fight.
