Reality television star Khloe Kardashian has had her fair share of ups and downs over the years, but she has called her partnership with Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson "the best relationship I've ever been in," and talked about her trips to Cleveland on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
After weeks of speculation about whether the reality star was knocked up, Khloe finally confirmed her pregnancy with Tristan by sharing a photo of her baby bump on Instagram on December 20, 2017.
“My greatest dream realized,” Khloe wrote on Instagram. “We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient...I still at times can’t believe that our love created life! Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!!"
This will be Khloe's first child and Tristan's second child. Here are 15 things you probably didn't know about Khloe's pregnancy with Tristan and how it may affect them.
15 15. Khloe Offered 40% Off Her Good American Collection
Khloe Kardashian had a lot in store for her fans this week. Khloe almost broke the internet with her first photo of her baby bump to confirm the speculation surrounding her pregnancy with Tristan.
Khloe also shared another Christmas miracle by offering 40% off her Good American collection of clothing including jeans. So if you want to score her sheer, star-embellished bodysuit or her more simple items like wear-with-anything jeans, astrology lover's sweatshirt, perfect denim skirt or cozy lace-up hoodie, she's likely going to be sharing more deals when the baby arrives.
It's safe to say Khloe has been giving us a lot to be thankful for this year.
14 14. Khloe Hasn't Had Morning Sickness Yet
Khloe is about four months into her pregnancy, but she seems to be in good spirits as she has had a fairly smooth pregnancy so far.
“Khloe has not had any morning sickness or had any less than pleasant pregnancy symptoms,” an insider recently told Us Weekly.
Morning sickness is common among pregnant women. More than 50% of pregnant women experience morning sickness during their pregnancies. While it's not harmful to a woman or her baby, it can be a little irritating to deal with. Its symptoms include nausea and vomiting.
We're now almost at the third and final trimester and there still hasn't been any word on Khloe having experienced morning sickness, which just gives people another reason to be jealous.
13 13. The Couple Might Get A Bigger House Together
An insider noted Khloe and Tristan may take another big step together in the future: “Tristan is house shopping and renting a house. [Khloe] loves her house but they might get a bigger house together.”
Khloe and Tristan currently share a home in Cleveland. Khloe often flies back and forth between there and her home in Los Angeles.
“Khloe doesn’t necessarily want to get rid of her house though so he might move into her house,” a source added. “They’re figuring it out but they are open to her buying another house but it will be in Calabasas."
Thompson's under contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers for two more seasons, so it's likely they'll have ti find something in the Cleveland area.
12 12. Adrienne Bailon Had A Positive Reaction To Khloe's Pregnancy
Television personality Adrienne Bailon has shown nothing but love to the Kardashian-Jenner family, despite her break up with Rob Kardashian in 2009.
While attending the Cinefashion Film Awards in L.A. on October 8, 2017, Us Weekly asked Bailon about Khloe's pregnancy. Unlike most of us who have parted ways with our ex's families, Bailon said she’s thrilled and believes Khloe has what it takes to be a mom.
“Khloe has incredible maternal instincts. She’s just kind, loving person and I think that’s what a child needs, lots of love, and she’s got it to give,” Bailon told Us Weekly.
When asked about the Kylie Jenner pregnancy gossip, Bailon said: "I think she’s very mature for her age and I think that they know what’s best for them."

11 11. Tristan Penned An Emotional Note To Khloe
After Khloe announced her pregnancy on Instagram, Tristan penned an emotional note of his pregnant girlfriend about their journey together.
“My love, Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your journey and entering your life that day at the bel air hotel,” Tristan gushed in a comment via People. “One of the best moments of my life.”
A source confirmed in September that Khloe was expecting her first child with Tristan, who also shares a son named Prince Oliver with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig.
Tristan then credited his friend and fellow credited pal and fellow basketball player Brandon Jennings for setting up the pair on a blind date. The couple have been dating since fall 2016.
“Btw, shoutout the brodie @brandonjennings for bringing this King and Queen together. Love my G,” Tristan added.
10 10. Khloe's Family Loves Tristan
Khloe ended 2017 on a positive note and hopes to make 2018 an even bette year.
And another thing...Khloe's family couldn't be any more smitten with Tristan, who has also stolen her mom and siblings' hearts.
Rob has always been close to Tristan. Rob, Tristan and Khloe hang out every now and then. Khloe's older sisters Kim and Kourtney, who have always gave their younger sister a hard time, were team Thompson since day one.
In the premiere for season 14 of KUWTK in October 2017, Kim and Kourtney were a little shocked when they learned that Khloe moved to Tristan's home in Cleveland, but at the end of the day, they just want their sister to be happy.
“We really do miss Khloe, and just knowing that so much of her life is here in Cleveland is hard to accept,” Kim told People. “I’m definitely sad that Khloe is gone, but she and Tristan are really cute together. She’s got a good crew over there. She’s got a good support system.”
“It’s bittersweet,” Kourtney told People. "It’s just sad that she’s definitely not coming back anytime soon...But we’re all living our lives and doing our own thing, so let her live hers.”
9 9. Scott Disick Approves Of Tristan
Even though Scott Disick is just Kourtney's ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, he's still considered to be a part of the Kardashian-Jenner family. Apparently, his opinion matters to his close friend Khloe.
During an appearance on Steve with Khloe in September 2017, Disick said that Tristan fits in "pretty well" with the family. Disick added: "He’s the first nice, normal guy she’s ever brought home...Not that we’re nice and normal! He’s an unbelievable guy and I’m just not used to that...One guy is a close friend of mine, who I love so that’s not true."
“I do really love Cleveland, I really enjoy it,” Khloe told Steve Harvey. “I love the best of both worlds.”
Well, it's good to know that Disick approves of Khloe's boyfriend. It's always good to have the support of your friends when it comes to relationships and what not.
8 8. Tristan Thompson May Want To Change NBA Teams
We mentioned before how Tristan and Khloe are looking to buy a bigger house now that they're starting a family, but another interesting twist is what Thompson could do to make things easier. As we mentioned earlier, he's under contract for two more years with the Cavaliers, but with the NBA trade deadline coming up and the Cavaliers struggling, there have been rumors suggesting Thompson could be traded to the L.A. Clippers or Lakers. There also remains the possibility that the Cavs could trade him to L.A. in the offseason, as the Cavs seem set to rebuild if they lose LeBron James in free agency. The Clippers and Lakers are said to be at the top of Thompson's list in terms of teams he would play for. It would bring him closer to Khloe all year round, and would definitely make their family life easier going forward.
7 7. Khloe Isn't Engaged Yet
Although Khloe wore diamond rings in the baby bump image, she's not engaged. Well, at least not yet.
One of Khloe's reps said that the engagement rumors weren't true. Khloe has previously showed off the rings on Instagram. Despite the missing engagement ring, Khloe seems to be very happy with Tristan.
“This is something Khloé has wanted for years and years and yet it’s more than that: She didn’t want it unless she was in the right relationship for it,” an insider told People. “This is such a wonderful moment for her: not only is she going to be a mother, she is going to be raising a child with a man she truly loves. Everyone is over the moon for them both.”
Though, we do hope that Khloe will be engaged sooner rather than later.
6 6. Khloe's Pregnancy Announcement Might Have Been Sponsored
We think we speak for the whole world when we said we're happy for Khloe and Tristan, but if you look a little closer, you'll notice the 33-year-old was wearing a Calvin Klein sports bra. Could this be nothing more than a sponsored baby announcement? We won't know the truth unless if it comes out in the near future, but it sure seems like an endorsement to the American brand.
Remember when IOL wrote an article about how the Kardashian-Jenner family will star in a new Calvin Klein campaign? Yeah, you might've known. But if you didn't, it's all good. Khloe might've worn Calvin Klein for a business reason. Hey, even when a baby's on the way, you gotta keep thinking business, right?
5 5. Khloe's Pregnancy Reveal Was Appear On KUWTK
Khloe has often been described by fans as a fun and down-to-earth gal who isn't much of a drama queen like her sisters, but her pregnancy reveal has been documented and will appear on KUWTK for everybody to witness the incredible moment in her life.
Khloe tweeted on December 22, 2017, that her family filmed the reality show during her big reveal.
In a supertease clip E! released of the show on December 13, 2017, an announcement was made during a family gathering and everyone looked shocked. The episode featuring the announcement aired in mid-January. On the episode, Jenner started crying while Kim asked her, “Did you not know?” Khloe was seen in the clip while her best friend Malika Haqq embraced her, leading to speculation that was the moment of the reveal.
4 4. Khloe Hasn't Had Weird Cravings Yet
We've all heard stories of pregnant women who sent their partners out for strange foods to satisfy a late night craving, but as of right now, Khloe isn't that pregnant woman.
Khloe is still active on Twitter. Shortly after her announcement, a fan asked her if she had any weird cravings. Khloe responded with a short answer "Not yet lol" with two praying emojis. Like we've mentioned earlier, an insider told Us Weekly that Khloe hasn't had morning sickness or any less than pleasant pregnancy symptoms.
While many women experience terrible symptoms, Khloe appears to be just fine with no symptoms whatsoever. At least we know Tristan doesn't have to deal with as many problems. He's already got a packed schedule with the Cavs.
3 3. Khloe Has Traditions She Intends to Pass On
With the upcoming baby, Khloe has another reason to look forward to Christmas. Last Christmas, Khloe celebrated the holiday with her family and watched the Cavs vs. Warriors game (and the Cavs edged the Warriors 109-108), but this year, she has other plans in store.
In a Christmas article in her app, Khloe revealed she's looking forward to passing on her family's festive traditions to her future child. Khloe wrote: "I can't wait to pass these traditions on to my little one, one day."
In case you didn't know, Khloe refers to Kris as "the queen of Christmas" and admitted she's still taking notes from her mom, but she hopes to be as wonderful a hostess as Jenner.
Khloe said: "As you get older, I think you create your own traditions and they stem from what your parents instilled in you.
Khloe added: "The biggest holiday tradition I’m going to take from my mom is how she makes everything look perfect and feel incredibly special. I love walking into her home at Christmas and seeing all the decorations."
2 2. Khloe Kept Her Pregnancy A Secret For A Reason
There's plenty of reasons to celebrate pregnancy. There's also plenty of reasons to not celebrate pregnancy. Khloe is celebrating pregnancy now, but she kept her pregnancy hidden for a while and she has her reasons why.
As you should already know, Khloe has long been a subject of speculation about her upcoming family plans. Fans were in awe when she finally confirmed her pregnancy in an Instagram photo.
Khloe never kept her dream of becoming a mother a secret, but dealt with lots of heartbreak in the past. She underwent fertility treatment when she was married to her first husband Lamar Odom, but halted the process when her marriage hit a rough patch as Odom continued his drug abuse and excessive partying.
Khloe said: "I knew that it wasn't the right situation to bring a child into, and I think I've done a lot of covering up for him, like, even when it made me look like I was the problem."
Khloe apparently just wanted to have a baby when the time was right.
1 1. Tristan Told Khloe That She Looks Better Now
For many women, pregnancy is a bewildering time in more ways than one. But not for Khloe and it's not just because of the financial foundation the soon-to-be parents already established in their lives.
After Khloe confirmed she was pregnant with her first child on Instagram, Tristan expressed his excitement over the announcement of the little one. Tristan didn't stop there as he also commented on the photo of Khloe's baby bump with "Girl you look better now."
There are several compliments all pregnant women want to hear and Khloe heard what she wanted to hear. She probably felt even more beautiful after reading her man's comment. She's growing a child inside of her. Regardless of whether or not you think her pregnancy is a publicity stunt, you have to admit she needs some love so she can learn to embrace her changing body.
