We've got plenty of WWE t-shirts, but what we don't have enough of are WWE sneakers, and we desperately want the ones Kofi Kingston has been showing off at SDCC.

San Diego Comic-Con takes place this weekend. In fact, the festivities will have already begun by the time you read this. Most people associate the massive event with superheroes and comic books. That might have been true once upon a time, but in recent years, it has grown to become so much more.

SDCC effectively celebrates all things entertainment. Movies and TV shows hold off on cast announcements and trailer drops until the sacred weekend so that they get more eyeballs. Since Vince McMahon insists that WWE is sports entertainment, the company naturally has a presence at the event. In fact, this year, it has a pretty big presence.

Both Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins are at SDCC, as is R-Truth is he has taken Carmella's advice. Drake Maverick is certainly hoping so as he has been running around San Diego dressed as a banana looking for the 24/7 Champion. WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is also in attendance and made a big revelation on his Twitter to celebrate that. The unveiling and release date of some very slick looking sneakers featuring a silhouette of the man himself holding the WWE Championship.

The sneakers are a collaboration between WWE and Converse and honestly, we are dying to get our hand on a pair. Trouble is, they are extremely limited edition. All we know right now when it comes to their availability is that they will be for sale at Foot Locker in Toronto, Canada during SummerSlam weekend. If you want them elsewhere/outside of that window, you're going to have your work cut out.

As for the price and how many pairs have been made, that information has not yet been released. It will likely be a first-come, first-served type deal, so don't go hanging around until an hour before SummerSlam if you're in Toronto and you want a pair. We also haven't been informed of which of Toronto's 10 Foot Locker locations the sneakers will be available in, so watch this space.
