If you're active on social media, you most likely have heard of professional golfer Paige Spiranac. She has attracted more attention to herself as a beautiful blonde golfer who rose to fame primarily because of Instagram. She may not have the perfect swing in women's golf, but her long blonde hair and edgy (well in golf terms) outfits have won the hearts of flocks of followers since 2015. At the time, she was a 22-year-old who recently graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in communications. The same year, her college team and alma mater won the Mountain West Conference Golf Championship.

When the LPGA released their brand-new strict dress code in 2017, Spiranac became one of the fiercest opponents against the code. Several hours after the controversial news broke out, she tweeted, "Untucked shirts, and clothes that don't fit (too tight or loose) should be added. Because I think that looks unprofessional as well too." This individual opinion was disregarded by the LPGA, who decided to keep their current rules intact.

It's a little surprising that Spiranac is an opponent towards the LPGA's new dress code since she has been cyberbullied in the past after being invited to the Dubai Ladies Masters in 2015. She even told Sports Illustrated that she was bullied so bad to the point where she didn't want to live anymore. But it seems that she has moved on from her past as she's currently using the SI Swimsuit platform to draw attention to cyberbullying.

Anyway, here are 15 Paige Spiranac outfits the LPGA would not approve of, but fans sure would.

15 All Black Everything

Sure, the all-black outfit flatters Spiranac's body in more ways than one, but this particular outfit still wouldn't be entirely appropriate for an LPGA Tour.

You see, Spiranac is wearing a black turtleneck, leggings and athletic shoes on the golf course in this Instagram photo. She's also sporting a black and white visor to shield her eyes from the sun's harmful rays. Unlike her other outfits, which were overly revealing, this outfit seems much more tasteful...until you check out the LPGA's rules. Rule No. 4 mentions that leggings aren't allowed unless they're worn under a skort or shorts.

The rule may sound ridiculous, but it's still a rule that was created by the LPGA. But when you look at this, is there really anything wrong with what she's wearing?

14 Black And White

Like other female golfers, Spiranac loves herself a quality round of golf. It apparently has to happen on a beautiful day with gorgeous weather and a scorching hot sun.

Take, for example, this photo of Spiranac at Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ. She never fails to impress her followers with her stunning looks and trim figure. Her outfit consists of a black halter top and white mini skirt. We don't know why she's wearing black on a sizzling hot day, but who are we to judge?

Pretty much the only persons who would judge Spiranac and her choice of outfit are those who work for the LPGA. The LPGA has been slammed for body-shaming its own golfers and this partially includes Spiranac, who has been criticized for wearing revealing outfits while out and about on the golf course.

13 Up Close And Personal

Spiranac is not only a blonde beauty, she also has a sweet swing and a charming sense of humor. She seems to be the full package. It's tough luck that she's taken by her minor league baseball player fiancee, Steve Tinoco, who was her longtime boyfriend prior to the surprise engagement that took place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Her trip at the Dubai Ladies Masters didn't go exactly as planned, but it did end on a high note.

As Tinoco's fiancee, Spiranac gave us a glimpse of her and her outfit up close and personal. The LPGA would gasp at this photo though. Her racerback has no collar and her skort doesn't fully cover her bottom. Her outfit is way too revealing to today's standards for the LPGA.

12 Strong Girl

First of all, congratulations to Spiranac for getting a little bit stronger everyday. She definitely worked hard to improve her overall body and mind. Her secret? Stepping up her core workouts to get more stability in her swing.

Spiranac took to Instagram to share an inspiring selfie of her sporting a white racerback tank top and a pair of gray yoga pants. While she looks like a sporty stunner, she wouldn't want the LPGA to see a photo like this. The LPGA totally cracked down on certain outfits worn by its female golfers and this specific outfit wouldn't have been approved, not even for the sole purpose of wanting to practice on the golf course.

It's great that Spiranac is changing in a positive way on a consistent basis, but she's not going to change the LPGA's minds anytime soon.

11 That Look

Again, it has been confirmed that Spiranac has a quirky sense of humor, but it's all good. She may be puzzled when she's not sure if a putt is breaking left or right, but she still looks good while publicly displaying her confused faces. Her red dress with short sleeves and a deep V-neck may appear to be completely innocent, but not in the eyes of the LPGA.

Last summer, the LPGA made it very clear in their stern dress code that they didn't want to see any more plunging necklines and skirts, skorts and dresses that didn't cover all of a female's bottom. Unless you're a huge fan of golf, golf in general is a tedious sport to watch; and the LPGA was a significant buzzkill as the outfits worn by its females were one of the main reasons why men watched the action to begin with.

10 Short Skort

We're quite sure that you were disappointed when you found out that you didn't win a chance to play with PGA golfer Roy McIlroy and One Direction member Niall Horan in Dubai—all while having Spiranac serve as your caddy.

Who wouldn't turn down Spiranac as their caddy? Virtually no one except for maybe the LPGA board members, who aren't crazy about skimpy outfits on the golf course.

Sure, Spiranac's skort features an obvious flap on the back side, but the front side still isn't covered to the extent where no one can see her entire bottom. Obviously, the LPGA isn't going to approve of this low-cut skort, but we can tell Spiranac still doesn't care about what others think. We'll just take a step back and see what's in store for her future.

9 Think Pink

Without a doubt, Spiranac cleans up nice for the camera...and writes noteworthy captions under her Instagram photos.

In this photo, Spiranac wrote, "I've been a member at a country club at one point and then also had to clean a pro shop and do kids camps to somehow have a place to practice because I couldn't afford to play. I've noticed that no matter where you are, who you're surrounded by, what you wear, or how much money you have or don't have we are all just playing a game where the same rules apply. The tradition of golf for me is tied into the integrity and honor of the game, not the exclusivity that you have to be a certain class of person or dress a certain way. Truth is we are all just trying to enjoy our day and play good golf."

But not a whole lot of followers would actually read Spiranac's full caption because she looks so pretty in her ensemble of a white tank top and pink striped mini skirt. Meanwhile, the LPGA would shake their heads at this photo because she's showing way too much skin in their eyes.

8 Brightening Up The Course

Not all girls can rock the whites, but Spiranac sure can!

In this photo, Spiranac rocks a black tank top, white track jacket and a gray mini skirt while green reading on the golf course. Yeah, the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, is beautiful, but the girl in the picture is even more beautiful.

Spiranac is a West Coast gal hailing from Scottsdale, Arizona, but her excess amounts of beauty can help her pass as a Southern Belle from the Myrtle Beach area. She seems to be a natural beauty with flawless skin and a winning smile.

But the LPGA wouldn't accept Spiranac's outfit even though she threw on a jacket over her tank because her skirt is short and doesn't cover everything when she squats on the golf course.

7 From The Stands

As a curvy female golfer, Spiranac had quite a few things to tell Fortune Magazine about the LPGA's new dress code that was announced during the summer of 2017.

Spiranac is better known for her beautiful appearances than her golf swings, which is the main reason why she's a fan favorite on Instagram.

“Take the vague banning of ‘plunging necklines,'" Spiranac wrote. “What constitutes a plunging neckline? Most likely, this edict was put into place to eliminate the presence of cleavage."

Spiranac proceeded to complain about the LPGA Tour even though she wasn't a part of it.

“In that case, a curvier, fuller-figured woman would be chided and fined far more often than a woman with a smaller bust,” Spiranac said.

“In a world where women are continually and unwantedly [objectified], this new rule serves as yet another reason for women to feel ashamed of their bodies."

6 Selfie Time

Spiranac is indeed a beautiful golfer, but there's more than meets the eye...if you look past her plunging neckline, that is.

Like other Instagram stars, Spiranac likes to take selfies. Anyway, she looks so darn good in this selfie she snapped at the Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The LPGA, however, wouldn't approve of her selfie due to her tank top's plunging neckline and her collar-less racerback. That's a no-no in their book of rules. If Spiranac was an actual LPGA golfer, she would've been fined and shunned on a consistent basis. She would've been a total distraction to the female-orientated organization and that might've caused true golf fans to stray away from the sport for quite a while.

5 Spring Time

Spiranac might've not gotten the good start that she initially wanted during this round of golf, but she got her followers pumped up with her tight, skimpy outfit of a white tank top and pastel patterned mini skirt. She paired the figure-hugging ensemble with a white visor and matching athletic shoes.

Callaway Golf is the No. 1 equipment company in golf, so, there you go. Spiranac loves herself some quality golf equipment and it shouldn't come as a surprise that she gave a sponsored shout out to the company since she's an Instagram star with really good looks from her head to her toes.

Still, the LPGA aren't going to become big fans of Spiranac anytime soon. First off, she's not wearing a collar. Second, her skirt isn't long enough to cover her bottom. The LPGA is just really uptight about the entire group of female golfers.

4 Red And Black

For most women, red and black is one of their favorite color combinations. Whether a woman is rummaging through her closet for an outfit for work or leisure purposes, she'll likely pick out one red item and one black item if there aren't any white items in their closet at the moment.

Red and black is a versatile color combination too. Spiranac is an Arizona native, so she probably wouldn't dare wear an all black outfit, especially when she's staying in her home state. She looks every bit like a fitness model in this Instagram photo, but it's pretty much risque for the LPGA if they were on the judging panel for a fashion show full of workout gear.

Spiranac is wearing a red sports bra and a black pair of leggings, which constitutes as "workout gear" to the LPGA. Also, she's showing way too much skin on a golf course for their liking.

3 Muscle Up

Spiranac is an Instagram star due to her steamy photos of her playing golf at various courses across the country. However, she is pretty darn real as she has been a victim of cyberbullying, and as a result, she can be honest with her followers on social media.

As you can see in the caption above, Spiranac struggles with the concept of dieting and loves her sugars and carbohydrates, but makes sure to never deprive her body of anything. She's fairly inspirational and showed off her muscle mass while being spiritual about things in general.

Spiranac's outfit, however, doesn't fit the criteria of the LPGA's new (and strict) dress code. She's wearing a blue sports bra and a pair of black leggings. Remember that workout clothes of all colors aren't allowed in the ropes. Besides, she's showing off a lot of skin, including her "plunging neckline" due to her curvy figure.

2 Just Smile, Baby

Just like Spiranac said it herself, it's a beautiful day for some golf at the Troon North Golf Club.

It's also a beautiful sight of Spiranac, who continues to cause her followers' jaws to drop with her sizzling pictures on and off the golf course. The pretty golfer turned Instagram star looks better than ever. And her looks continue to improve as each day goes by.

On the flip side, Spiranac's outfit, which consists of a white racerback with a collar (gasp!) and what appears to be a baby blue mini skirt, isn't at all appropriate for the course. Obviously, the LPGA isn't going to approve of her semi-revealing outfit because she's showing off her legs when she's sitting down. They'd see much more of her bottom when she bends over or squats during a round or two. She's not being very tasteful in her outfit choice in this picture.

1 Natural Shades

It's clear that golf is a part of Spiranac's life. She's been trying to make peace with her place in the sport of golf, as she has played golf for San Diego State University in the past, but her recent Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photoshoot has drawn a lot of criticism from folks ranging from middle-aged men to female journalists.

In case you didn't know, conservative personality and former ESPN reporter Britt McHenry took shots after Sports Illustrated unveiled their 2018 class, calling out the publication's contradiction on the #MeToo era as well as Spiranac's photoshoot.

“Isn’t it more empowering to keep your clothes on, go into an office or classroom like everyone else and excel? #SISwimSuit desperately wanting to compete with IG models with gimmicks,” McHenry tweeted.

Sprianac fired back at McHenry, essentially telling her to mind her own business:

“Different women feel empowered in different ways and it’s not right to tell someone what they can and cannot do,” the golfer wrote. “It’s more about the person you are and not the clothes you decide or not decide to wear. My body, my choice.”
