In no other sport in the world are women seen in the same light as men are than in the sport of tennis. Women’s pay, although still relatively low in some tournaments, is equal to that of the men at the high levels. They receive similar court time on the top courts, and draw large crowds just like their male counterparts do. No one looks down on female tennis players and they are considered among the best athletes on the planet.

It also helps that the female tennis ranks are filled with plenty of beautiful and talented women who aren’t difficult to look at either. Some of the best in the sport are not just major winners, capable of slamming over 100 mile/hour serves for aces, they are aces themselves, and are just as comfortable in a photo shoot for a magazine as they are on the court winning matches.

Female tennis players have been able to battle the stereotype that attractive women can’t be good at anything other than looking pretty, as plenty of the sports most attractive women have been the No. 1 seed at one time or another and were considered the best in the game. And their looks only help their brand name and help them earn millions in endorsements for brans outside of the game. It’s why car companies, jewellers and cosmetic companies are looking for their services, because they that the name they have made for themselves on the court, coupled with their good looks, makes them a ultimate combo in the marketing world. Here are the aces of the tennis world.

15 Maria Sharapova

Maria Sharapova is the total package. She may be the most beautiful woman ever in tennis, with supermodel good looks that have earned her plenty of attention off the court, including magazine covers, photo spreads and endorsement deals, but on the court, Sharapova has been a world No. 1, and won five grand slam championships. What really has to be said about the Russian bombshell, who burst onto the scene as a teenager and hasn’t slowed down since (except for a suspension for doping)? But young or old, Sharapova is constantly in the discussion for the best looking female tennis player, and if ever there was a perfect 10 to give, she would earn it easily.

14 Genie Bouchard

Genie Bouchard is the Canadian version of Anna Kournikova, she looks great, but hasn’t won much. Since losing in the Wimbledon final in 2014 to Petra Kvitova, Bouchard has struggled on the court, while off the court, her personal image has reached an all-time high. She is constantly featured more for her out-of-game play, such as her Super Bowl date bet with a lucky fan, and she has made appearances in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit edition more than once. She’s clearly one of the hottest female tennis players to date, but she hasn’t been able to back it up much on the court, bowing out of tournaments early, and getting plenty of criticism from fans in Canada who want her to spend more time on her game than on her so-called modelling career. We say, why can’t she have both!

13 Caroline Wozniacki

The current No. 2 player in the world, Caroline Wozniacki is a mix of talent and beauty. She finally won her first major grand slam championship this year, winning the Australian Open after 11 attempts at winning, and before that, her best finish was two finals appearances at the US Open. Woz was in a relationship with golfer Rory McIlroy before they called off their wedding, and now she is engaged to former NBA champion David Lee. She has been ranked No. 1 in the world, and like other top ranked players, such as Steffi Graf, the Williams sisters and Maria Sharapova, she appeared in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition back in 2015, and today has 1.2 million followers on Instagram, making her one of the most followed in tennis.

12 Anna Kournikova

In poker, the Ace-King hand is referred to as the Anna Kournikova hand, ‘it looks great but never wins’. That is an accurate description of the Russian tennis player, who was one of the hottest women on tour, but could never seem to break through the glass ceiling and win a major championship. Her best result as a singles competitor at a major was a semi-final appearance at Wimbledon in 1997, though she did win majors as a singles competitor. But it was her beauty that got her the most noticed, as she appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, and placed first in FHM’s 100 Women in the World in 2002. She also earned the ESPN’s hottest female athlete, so at least she picked up plenty of awards off the court.

11 Serena Williams

Perhaps the best female tennis player of all time, Serena Williams has been ranked No. 1 in the world eight different times between 2002 and 2017, and has spent over 319 weeks at the top spot, while earning over $84 million dollars, along with 23 singles titles at major tournaments, and 14 women’s doubles titles. She is clearly dominate on the court, but perhaps an overlooked aspect of her is how underrated the youngest Williams sister is in the looks department. The American doesn’t normally flaunt herself, but there is no denying that when it comes to Williams, power is attractive, and Williams is a trend setter both on and off the court and can match up with any of the most beautiful players on tour.

10 Elina Svitolina

Ukrainian Elina Svitolina hasn’t won a major championship in her career, as she has only ever reached the quarterfinals three times. She still reached No. 3 in the rankings, and has earned over $8 million in her playing career, which has included endorsement deals with Nike and other athletic companies. She has over 224,000 followers on Instagram, where the blonde Ukrainian posts some revealing photos in bikinis and athletic gear, while sporting her award-winning smile. At just 23, she has plenty of time left in her career to win a major championship, and plenty of time to use her stunning good looks to earn her some more magazine covers and endorsement deals. Not everyone has to earn money the hard way by beating the best tennis players in the world.

9 Dominika Cibulkova

You don’t need to say much about the Slovakian born tennis star after you take a look at her Instagram account and notice that tennis is actually listed as an after thought. She says fashion is her passion, and oh yeah, she plays some tennis as well. At least she is keeping her options open for her future beyond the game, although she has made over $12 million in career earnings, though she has never won a grand slam tournament. The 28-year-old hasn’t had a great start to this year, but that is why you have other passions in life, and Cibulkova sports her fashion passion online as much as she can, a lot more than her love for tennis.

8 Ana Ivanovic

2008 French Open champion Ana Ivanovic definitely got plenty of attention during her playing career, so much so, it actually effected her play on the court. After winning the French Open, Ivanovic was overwhelmed by the attention she received and didn’t make a Grand Slam quarterfinal in her next 17 major tournaments. Off the court, her stunning looks got her in the pages of Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan and FHM, and she even appeared in the music video with Serbian rapper Fillip Filipi. She also got endorsement deals with Nike, Adidas, and Wilson, and in 2008 she signed on with Rolex. The Serbian earned her fair share over her career, making $15 million dollars before retiring at 30-years-old.

7 Vojislava Lukic

Serbian tennis star Vojislava Lukic isn’t a huge name in the tennis world, as she has never been ranked higher than the top 200 in the world. She appeared on the cover of the Serbian FHM magazine in 2009, and even had her eye on acting after retiring from tennis. From 2008 to 2012, she was most known for her time dating Zoran Copic, a man 21 years her senior, who was arrested for charges of money laundering schemes. During that same time, she also played host for a show called Total Tennis which aired on the Radio Television in Serbia, before founding her own tennis school. She was one of the more well-endowed women in tennis, so perhaps that had something to do with her lack of success.

6 Sabine Lisicki

Sabine Lisicki is hard to handle. And no, we’re just talking about her good looks that got her appearances in magazines. Lisicki is known for her powerful serve, as she actually holds the record for the fastest female serve at 131 miles per hour. She also held the record for most aces in a game at 27. For reference, the fastest serve in tennis was achieved by Samuel Groth of Australian who served it 163 miles per hour, so Lisicki wasn’t too far off her male counterpart. On Instagram she sports 137,000 followers, and while the vast majority of her photos are of her playing tennis (big surprise) Lisicki does show off just how beautiful she is in some tasteful pictures.

5 CoCo Vandeweghe

After the Williams sisters, the next most known American is Coco Vandeweghe, who is ranked 16th on tour, and has earned over $6 million in tour winnings in her career. Known for her strong serve, she hit 306 aces in 2014, a third highest on tour, and continued with an aggressive style of play that has helped her become one of the best on tour. She sports American girl next door good looks with curly blonde hair, and at 6-foot-1, is definitely noticeable. She has long legs, and a powerful upper body, perfect for a tennis player. And while she may not be on the same level as other female tennis stars, Vandeweghe has the confidence to take her places both on and off the court.

4 Camila Giorgi

As one of the smallest players on tour, Camila Giorgi has the petite thing down right, and there is no doubt she is the cute wholesome type. Don’t let her 5-foot-6 frame fool you, Giorgi is definitely one of the hottest little numbers on tour, and at just 26-years-old, still has a few years left to make something happen and add to her already $2.5 million earnings. Giorgi is known for her aggressive style of game and her powerful flat groundstrokes, and is considered to be one of the hardest hitters of the ball on the tour. Not bad for one of the smallest players. Though she is still looking to make some more noise in the tennis world, as she hasn’t got far in any grand slam tournament yet.

3 Maria Kirilenko

Something has to be in the water in Russia as they continually put out gorgeous female tennis players. Maria Kirklenko is the next addition to that list, and while she has earned a No. 10 ranking at her peak, this list is about perfect 10s in the sport of tennis and Kikilenko is definitely on that list. She dated Russian hockey star Alex Ovechkin for some time, and even won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics for Russia in London, so she has had her success on the court. She was selected to be the face of Adidas, and also appeared in the Swimsuit Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, following the Russian tradition of appearing in the magazine, showing that even though Russia may be known for it’s grey landscape, they produce some of the most stunning women in the tennis world.

2 Agnieszka Radwańska

What isn’t to love about a girl who is the face of the Cheesecake Factory? The endorsement deal is just one of the many the Polish Agnieszka Radwańska has, and for good reason, too, as Radwanska has model looks that has got her cosmetics deals, while on the court she has earned the No. 2 ranking in the world and over $27 million in career earnings. She was the runner-up in 2012 at Wimbledon, losing to Serena Williams, and has one WTA Tour Championship victory to her name. Off the court, she is a spokeswoman for Rado watches, Lexus, and Lotos, Polands largest Oil and Gas producer. So needless to say, the Polish tennis star is pretty well set, and not because she is an ace on the court.

1 Laura Robson

Laura Robson could be like any college girl you know, especially if you follow her on her Instagram account, where the 23-year-old seems to be like any typical girl you would meet. Born in England, Robson has been playing professionally since 2008, earning over $1.5 million in her career. She hasn’t made it very far in grand slam tournaments, going as far as the fourth round at Wimbledon in 2013, though she did win the tournament, albeit as a junior, in 2008. Today, she is having problems getting into tournaments, as her ranking is beyond the top 200 in the world, and she was skipped in the Australian Open. So for now, we’ll just enjoy that girl-next-door look of hers, as she continues to work on her game that many have said, is pretty flawless.
