Stephanie McMahon has been the driving force behind the Women's Revolution over the past few years and is the main reason why the women within the company are finally being given the opportunities that they deserve. The daughter of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has made it her mission to ensure that the women in WWE will push forward the future and show that the world should be watching. The women in sport all over the world have shown that it is possible for them to be taken seriously after decades of being seen below their male counterparts.

Even though Stephanie McMahon hasn't been able to embody the Women's Revolution in the way she would have hoped, there have been times where the former Women's Champion has stood up and put her neck on the line for her women.

The following list looks at just 15 things that Stephanie could be pushing for moving forward, but her father is not ready for. After all, it was the wife of WWE COO Triple H who has been behind the entire revolution from the beginning and is the main reason why the company has finally started to back their Women's Division over the past few years.

15 More Opportunities For Women Outside Of WWE

WWE has allowed their Women's Division to become known all over the world because of the superstar's involvement in E! Network show Total Divas, but there are so many more opportunities that the women could be given outside of the company. The likes of John Cena and The Miz are able to take time away from the company to be part of WWE Studio's productions and in recent years Summer Rae, Naomi, Paige and Becky Lynch have all been part of movies of their own, but this should be a more consistent thing.

Ronda Rousey is taking over the Women's Division because she is the biggest star, this is also because of her antics outside of the ring.

There needs to be a star at the level of Rousey, WWE needs to push forward many of their women so that Rousey actually has some competition in the future otherwise this will be a very one-sided Women's Revolution over the next few years. Rousey has already proved that she can step into the ring with some of the biggest male stars in the company, so WWE need to create someone who is at that level to step in her way in the coming months.

14 Women's Tag Team Championships

It appears that Vince McMahon could actually be warming to the idea that there could be Women's Tag Team Championships in the future. The IIconics have changed the way women's tag teams are perceived over the past few years and The Bella Twins look to have taken this to heart. This is the perfect set up for the announcement that these two teams and a number of others who could be created within the company could be set to fight for the first ever Women's Tag Team Championships.

A tournament would definitely be something that the WWE Universe could get behind and it would allow many of the women who aren't currently being used to be part of storylines once again. Impact Wrestling once unveiled Women's Tag Team Championships but their titles didn't have the impact that they had hoped, this is something that WWE will obviously want to do better than their competition, to show that their promotion is much better. There is so much talent in the Women's Division right now that is being overlooked because there are only two Championships that these women can fight for, adding a Tag Team Championship to the mix would definitely help to change that.

13 Equal Pay For Women And Men

A few short years ago, AJ Lee commented on Stephanie McMahon's Twitter that the "boss lady" needed to do more for the women of WWE when it came to equal pay. The former Divas Champion stated: "Your female wrestlers have record selling merchandise & have starred in the highest rated segment of the show several times, And yet they receive a fraction of the wages & screen time of the majority of the male roster. ."

While Stephanie Tweeted back to say that she appreciated AJ's opinion, it was obvious that this had ruffled a few feathers since AJ retired from the business less than two months later. This must have been something that stuck in Stephanie's mind even after AJ's departure and given that Ronda Rousey is able to earn so much because of who she is making her way over to WWE, this could finally be the start of equal pay in WWE, or at least something close to equal pay if the women are going to continue main eventing pay-per-views in the future. Stephanie has the power to change a lot of opinions of the women when she's part of WWE's creative team and if she pushes for this then it could make a huge difference.

12 More Merchandise For The Women

When Trish Stratus and Lita were controlling the Women's Division around a decade ago, there was no merchandise that the company could buy that was aimed at these two Hall of Famers. Times have definitely changed since then and now the likes of Sasha Banks, Charlotte and, even SmackDown Women's Champion Carmella have their own merchandise. That being said, there isn't a lot of merchandise for the other women in the company.

There are many women in WWE right now like Alicia Fox and Natalya who have been part of the Women's Division for more than a decade but they don't have anywhere near the amount of merchandise that the likes of Bayley and Sasha Banks have. The company needs to find a way to make all of their women marketable so that all of their superstars have the opportunity to make money from merchandise sales. The women of WWE have been pushed to the forefront of the company over the past few years but it appears that there hasn't been much of an improvement in the way that the women are treated when it comes to their payment and merchandise and this is something that definitely needs to change.

11 Main Eventing WrestleMania

The women of WWE have already main evented a number of pay-per-views over the past few years, including Hell in a Cell and the Royal Rumble earlier this year. It was at the first pay-per-view event of the year that the women were able to make history when the company allowed them to be part of the first ever all-Women's Royal Rumble.

The one thing that the women haven't been able to do over the past few years that the WWE Universe has been pushing for is main event WrestleMania.

The company's biggest show of the year is something that has been protected by WWE throughout its history which could be why the women haven't played a huge role in the show over the past decade. WrestleMania 29 will always be remembered as the year that there wasn't a women's match on the card, but this was before the Women's Revolution became a huge part of the company. Over the past five years, the women of the company have definitely proved that they are deserving of the chance to main event the biggest show of the year, and there could already be plans for the women to do so in the coming years.

10 Women In Saudi Arabia

WWE made history back in April when the company traveled to Saudi Arabia for the first time to present The Greatest Royal Rumble live from Jeddah. This event was seen as a successful show in front of a sold-out crowd in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia but there was one thing missing from the show. The women were not allowed to travel to Saudi Arabia or be part of the show because of the laws in the country, which meant that every female in the company was kept off the card, including Renee Young who was taken off the kickoff show.

The government later issued an apology because WWE showed an advert as part of the show which included some of their female wrestlers. These rules haven't sat well with the WWE Universe or many WWE officials including Stephanie McMahon, but it is reported that WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia in the fall, and the company will continue to push the boundaries of the country's rules in regards to the women so that one day there will be a women's match in Saudi Arabia and the company will once again be able to say that their division has made history.

9 Intergender Matches

Just over a decade ago, intergender matches were a huge part of WWE programming with the Trish Stratus and Lita even taking on Christian and Chris Jericho in one of the famous matches from that era. In recent years WWE has preferred to keep the women separate and not allowed them to be part of any male storylines, with James Ellsworth the only man who has actually been able to face a woman in a WWE ring.

With the addition of Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler and the rest of the Four Horsewomen, to the WWE roster, it would be a great idea for WWE to pull back on these rules and allow the former UFC women to be able to step in the ring with the men and prove that they are able to stand their ground. The women of WWE have proved that they could be some of the toughest women in the world and they should be allowed to test their mettle against the men. Rousey stood her ground against Triple H in their match back at WrestleMania, which proves that if she wanted to, she could easily step into the ring with some of the biggest stars in the company right now and still come out on top.

8 Women Able To Fight For Male Championships

There have been a handful of women throughout the history of WWE who have been able to lift male Championships with Chyna picking up the Intercontinental Championship and Jacqueline lifting the Cruiserweight title, but this hasn't been done in a number of years. The women have been completely separate from the men in the company in recent years, but it would be interesting to see if the women are actually able to step up to the men in the current era.

While intergender matches do send the wrong impression to the WWE Universe because it's a man fighting a woman when it's a woman like Shayna Baszler or Ronda Rousey who could easily hold their own in a match against 90 percent of the current roster, it could be seen as acceptable. Instead of Ronda trying to take over the Women's Division, there could easily be a point where there is no competition left for her and she is forced to them step over to the male roster and prove that she really is "the baddest woman on the planet." Given how much Stephanie has been wanting to push Ronda since she made her way over to WWE, it's likely that she would the former UFC Champion to continue to break down those glass ceilings.

7 Four Horsewomen Vs Four Horsewomen

The Four Horsewomen of MMA have made their way over to WWE in recent years, with Ronda Rousey currently set to fight for the Raw Women's Championship at Money in the Bank, Shayna Baszler holding the NXT Women's Championship as well as Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir recently taking their places at the Performance Center. There have been hints that the Four Horsewomen of MMA and the Four Horsewomen of WWE (Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Charlotte, and Bayley) colliding in a WWE ring in the future.

After their backstage segment back at The Mae Young Classic in the summer of 2017, the news of this matchup has seemingly cooled off.

There were reports that Vince McMahon wasn't happy for this feud to go ahead anymore and had decided to push the Women's Division in the new direction, but the recent signings of all four of the Horsewomen of MMA prove that there is someone in the company who is pushing for the match to still happen. When Duke and Shafir reach the point where the company is happy with their ability in the ring, it will be much easier to tell what the future holds for the former UFC stars.

6 More Hard-Hitting Storylines

The women in WWE have been part of some fantastic storylines over the past few years, with Sasha Banks and Charlotte completely dominating the Championship picture throughout 2016. The issue here is that WWE has reached the point where they have been forced to backtrack and rely on storylines where they make their women look petty and classless. The bullying storyline between Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax over the past few months has been hard to watch and was something straight out of Mean Girls.

Not only that, but it appears that the feud between Bayley and Sasha Banks has been up and down over the past few months with the company unable to decide which star should actually turn heel. If the women aren't fighting for a title then the company have no idea what to do with them, which is shocking since there is so much talent there that is being overlooked. Stephanie McMahon has always been the woman who is in charge of the Women's Division so she will definitely want the women to be part of better storylines in the future, but her father is so out of touch with reality that it's going to be a hard thing to change.

5 More Creative Input For The Women

Stephanie McMahon has been controlling the Women's Division for decades, but given that she is just one woman and she has a  reputation for being quite fierce backstage, there are many officials who are too afraid to turn her ideas down. There have been many stories backstage about how John Cena and other huge stars are able to dictate what they want to happen to their character and they have then been given a creative input. It was recently reported that Carmella came up with the entire storyline between herself and James Ellsworth that led to her becoming the first ever Miss Money In The Bank and she actually pitched it to Vince McMahon.

This shows that there are a number of women who have ideas and know their character much better than the creative team so why shouldn't they be given more creative input? This would relieve the pressure on Stephanie McMahon as well, which could be what she needs right now if she's going to be a major part of the Ronda Rousey storyline. At least if the women in WWE felt as though they could pitch their ideas, then there would never be a point where the company had no ideas for one of their superstars again.

4 Changing The Way Women Are Perceived

There was a time when the women of WWE were hired based on their looks and allowed to pose for Playboy because it would give them a boost in popularity. Luckily, times have changed and the women in the company are no longer allowed to have any less than PG images online and are judged based on ability over their looks.

Recently the women haven't been part of as many photoshoots and instead look to be being treated the same as the male members of the WWE roster, who are invited to upscale events. It's been hard for WWE to change the image of the women's division after years of the women being seen as eye candy or sideshow acts, but three years after the Divas Revolution began in the summer of 2015, there are so many obvious changes in that division. The job for Stephanie now is for her to try and ensure that this continues and WWE doesn't fall back into their old ways when the Women's Revolution starts to stall. WWE are creating role models and women who can inspire the next generation and that definitely needs to resume over the next few years as the women in sport continue to take over.

3 Female John Cena

The one thing that the company has never been able to create over the past few decades is a female John Cena. There will always be women who are considered to be the next big thing, but there isn't a female that has been able to become the biggest star in the company but they could have that with Ronda Rousey.

Nikki Bella was the closest thing that the women had for a number of years but even she wasn't able to reach the level that her former fiance held down for more than a decade. Nikki will always be known as the longest reigning Divas Champion, but it wasn't her in-ring career that Nikki was best known for. The only way the Women's Revolution will be considered a success would be if the women are actually able to take over the entire show. Ronda is the only woman who is even close to being able to take that spot since she is already being seen as the biggest star that the company has had the honor of signing and if she is used correctly over the next few years then there is nothing stopping her from becoming known for her wrestling career rather than her career in the octagon.

2 She Wants The WWE Universe To Forget The Past

The Divas Division is something that the company has tried to move on from over the past few years, with the Divas Championship being retired and the Women's Championships being returned to their rightful places. The history of the Divas Division has definitely had its moments but there were more moments to forget then there were to remember.

Recently WWE tried to bring history into the Women's Division with Fabulous Moolah being made part of the Women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania, but the backlash from this was something that WWE didn't expect. Stephanie stated that she loved that the WWE Universe shared their opinion and the company was happy to change it. "Clearly, they did not want to name the Women's Battle Royal after The Fabulous Moolah. We were really proud that they spoke up and we were really happy to make that change." Stephanie has been trying so hard over the past few years to help the WWE Universe forget the past but it appears that her plan hasn't been working so far but if the Women's Revolution continues to make waves then there will be a point when the women of WWE will be remembered for much better things.

1 Make The Women's Championships Lucrative Again

One of the biggest moments of the Women's Revolution was when WWE announced that the Divas Championship was being retired and the Women's Championship would make it return back at WrestleMania 32. This was a huge step for the women who are now known as superstars, but the company hasn't backed up their world with actions. The Women's Championship needs to be made lucrative again, which means that there shouldn't be short title reigns, women who are not ready to be Champion shouldn't be allowed to hold the title and the storylines surrounding the Championships shouldn't be catty and classless.

Recent storylines surrounding Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss and the Raw Women's Championship have been quite difficult to watch and these women deserved much better.

The company has done a fantastic job of making the Intercontinental Championship one of the most talked about titles in WWE in recent years and there's nothing stopping them from making the Women's Championship great again. The Womens' Revolution is far from over and as seen from this list there are many improvements that the company can make in the coming months and none of these alterations are even seen as big changes at the present moment.
