Children who are pushed into sports at young ages do not carry dreams of being international superstars that live in mansions, drive the most expensive cars on the market, and who are some of the more recognizable individuals on the earth. They merely enjoy running about while playing games with friends. What may or may not be in their future plays no factor in their relationships with sports.

That, of course, changes for some who learn over the years that they are more talented than their peers. Top teenage athletes get noticed by local and national college programs, and the best of the best are awarded with scholarships, often to their first-choice universities. The sky is the limit for those who find success at big-time college programs, as they will eventually be scouted by professional sports organizations looking to acquire talent via player drafts.

Pro sports are about competitions, winning and losing championships, and fan bases who live and die on their favorite teams, but they are also about athletes cashing in on contracts that bring with them life-changing money. That money allows players to take care of family members and friends, and it also provides them with the cash to buy a variety of luxurious trinkets. Everything from vehicles to homes to gaudy necklaces that look downright ridiculous can be theirs with the swipe of a card.

Not everybody who makes it to the mountaintop of a sports world needed to do so in order to achieve financially stability for the rest of their days. Some, because of where they were raised or the fact that one of their parents was also a sports star in younger days, don't need to be anybody famous to be rich. This includes sons of famous football players, athletes who outdid their parents in athletics, and a Heisman Trophy winner with a great-grandfather who, long ago, made a sound investment.

The very top sports leagues in the world that profit off of humongous television deals create more than just millionaire young athletes. They help breed legacies that continue on for generation after generation. The young man who is showcased in the final spot of this list could be the next example of that if he is to reach the expectations that many have for him, even though he is still roughly a decade away from being eligible to play for a college program.

10 10. Johnny Manziel

Years and years before the legend known as "Johnny Football" hit the campus of Texas A&M, Bobby Joe Manziel, great-grandfather to the football star, struck it rich via the oil fields. Johnny, of course, does not need family money in order to live large wherever he resides. Manziel has cashed in on several advertising deals since gaining fame as a superstar college quarterback, and is also making millions of dollars off of a rookie National Football League contract, despite the fact that he has to start a regular season game for the Cleveland Browns. He may be "Johnny Bench" at the moment, but his bank account is similar to that belonging to a top-level quarterback.

9 9. Cordell Broadus

Those of you not overly familiar with rap music may be scratching your heads over the identity of this young athlete. Broadus is the son of Calvin, the rap icon known as Snoop Dogg. Broadus is a budding wide receiver who is eying a career as an NFL player rather than venturing into the music business. The top prospect is being linked with USC, but he will have plenty of options before all is said and done. Schools such as Baylor, Florida State, Notre Dame, UCLA, and others are also reportedly interested in Broadus.

8 8. Shane & Stephanie McMahon

Do not believe that the children of the World Wrestling Entertainment chairman do not belong on this list. Both Shane and Stephanie McMahon have participated in a variety of matches over the years, winning titles in the process. Shane has since moved on from the North American professional wrestling giant, while Stephanie remains involved with the company. Stephanie married pro wrestler Triple H, and the two are currently on-screen characters as part of "The Authority."

7 7. Hugo Lloris

Before he was known for being the top goalkeeper of Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and of the France National Team, Lloris was born into a family that included a mother who was an attorney and a father who was an investment banker. Lloris has done just fine for himself as a professional footballer. He is widely regarded as one of the top-tier 'keepers in all of the world, and Lloris will likely earn a massive pay-raise from one of the biggest clubs in the world, perhaps Barcelona, sooner than later.

6 6. Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Junior's father remains NASCAR royalty, one of the most beloved figures in the sport even 13 years after his tragic death that occurred at the Daytona 500. "The Intimidator," as he was known during his racing days, made millions of dollars by winning races and championships, not to mention through endorsements. His son hasn't achieved such success as a NASCAR driver, but Junior has, like his father before him, cashed in via advertisement deals and racing salaries.

5 5. Kellen Winslow II

K2 has made great money over the years as a National Football League tight end, but it would be an understatement to suggest that he never reached his full potential, nor did he match the achievements of his famous father for reasons that go beyond physical talents. Kellen Winslow Sr. is one of the greatest tight ends to ever play professional football, and he was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1995. Winslow went on to be an attorney after his playing days came to an end.

4 4. Gerard Pique

Fortune has smiled upon Pique, the second footballer on this list, since his early days on the earth. His father is an attorney, while his mother is the director of a spinal injuries hospital in Barcelona. Pique, who currently features for Barcelona, has made millions upon millions of dollars throughout his playing career. He has been in a relationship with entertainment superstar Shakira for over four years. Fame. Fortune. Supermodel wife. Sports success. Some guys really do have it all.

3 3. Peyton and Eli Manning

Archie Manning is largely remembered for being a great quarterback who, unfortunately for him, featured for some lousy football teams. Both of his sons have had better luck over the years. Eli, who controversially forced a move from the San Diego Chargers to the New York Giants during the 2004 NFL Draft, is a two-time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player and two-time world champion. Peyton, meanwhile, has emerged as the greatest regular season quarterback in NFL history, a once-in-a-generation player who has a spot in the Hall of Fame guaranteed for himself. Peyton and the Denver Broncos are chasing another Super Bowl crown this fall.

2 2. Tim Hardaway, Jr.

We have yet to figure out what Hardaway Jr. will be as a professional basketball player. He was selected by the New York Knicks in the 2013 NBA Draft, and the Knicks are far from a stellar franchise as the 22-year old begins his second season in the league. Matching what his father accomplished as a player would be a solid goal for Hardaway Jr. Hardaway Sr. was a five-time NBA All-Star during his career, and he retired as the all-time leader in three-point shots made in Miami Heat history. It has been reported that Hardaway, now an assistant coach with the Detroit Pistons, has a net worth of around $28 million. Hardaway Jr. is guaranteed $3,751,920 per the terms of his rookie contract.

1 1. LeBron James, Jr.

Do not snicker at this just because LeBron Jr. is only nine-years old. The prodigy of the greatest basketball player playing today is already performing in national championship competitions, and James Jr. has drawn personalities such as Kentucky coach John Calipari to his games. His father made headlines over the summer of 2014 when he announced to the world that he was returning to northeast Ohio and re-joining the Cleveland Cavaliers. This leads to the obvious question: Would James Jr. attend Ohio State, a university James has had a relationship with for many years, or would the younger James stay closer to home and pick Akron? Whatever he chooses, the future is bright for James. Jr.
