Now up in our series on beautiful women who are also athletic standouts, we move to the lower body. We started out with overall beauty; examining those female athletes who are the full package. More recently we covered the realm of their upper body, specifically looking at the female athletes with the nicest breasts.

Of course, we respect these women as athletes and competitors but as males will, we’re all about checking them out. It’s only natural and to ask us to not love beautiful women would be like to ask a fish not to swim, a cat not to piss on a couch, or a Kardashian to not crave attention. It’s just what we do.

With this article we are going to be counting down some of the athletes out there who have beautiful legs. Not to get too technical but this is a sports site so we need to get technical; and there is more to legs than just being long. That’s a big part of it, but when it comes to female athletes, long legs are just a single part of the game. Some are long and thin, while others have perfect muscle definition. But the great thing about women in sports is that even the short ones have amazing legs. When you spend your days in a gym, on a rink, on a court or pitch, sexy legs are just a risk you take.

Without further (frankly unnecessary) introduction, here is our list of the best sets of legs in the world of sport.

15. Ashlyn Harris

We start our list off with the United States National soccer team’s goalkeeper, a beautiful blonde from Florida. She is a great example of what happens when a woman spends her time either in a gym or tearing around the field. Harris’ sport produces women whose legs are a perfect mix of strength and beauty, which are both words that can be attributed to her overall. While she is currently playing for the U.S. National team, her club is the Washington Spirit of the National Women’s Soccer League.

14. Melanie Adams

Any good list of great looking women needs at least one Aussie, so here you are; the gorgeous pole vaulter Melanie Adams. She competed in the 2012 Olympics, but did not medal. She has two national titles and was a finalist in the Miss Teen Australia beauty pageant. Along with her athletic career, she has achieved some success modeling and we think we know why.

13. Daniela Hantuchova

It was only a matter of time before a tennis player was named on this list, and our first of a few is one of the best looking in a sport that specializes in beautiful women. She has been competing professionally since age 16 and looks even better now than ever before. At age 32, she has earned over $10,000,000 throughout her career, achieving success in both singles and doubles tournaments. If you’re a fan of dirty blondes with gorgeous eyes and “legs ’til next week,” you’re in the right place, as this Slovak babe is one of the most stunning of all time.

12. Nastia Liukin

While she is retired from gymnastics, Nastia Liukin will have a spot on this list until someone comes and kills me. Also, she’s only 25, so being retired doesn’t count in terms of attractiveness, just in actual competition. She competed back in 2008 at the Beijing Olympics and won five medals; a gold, two silvers and a bronze for team U.S.A. despite having been born in Russia. She may be just 5’3 in height but those legs are examples of Godly perfection. If you’re not religious, then call it survival of the fittest. Since her retirement, she has found work modeling and has also competed on Dancing with the Stars.

11. Anna Rawson

It’s an old joke that “golf” stands for “Gentlemen only, ladies forbidden,” but in the case of LPGA veteran Anna Rawson, even the most stubborn of male golfers would make an exception. She’s retired now, but still works as a model while going to school; working toward her MBA from Columbia University.

When she was a professional golfer, her results on the scorecard were underwhelming, but it was her looks and legs that helped her make a name in the sport. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, fellas, but she’s married.

10. Allison Baver

On that most excellent scale of beautiful legs that exists between slim and muscular, we take a trip over to the world of speed-skating to Allison Baver. Baver won the bronze in the 3000 meter relay at the Vancouver Olympics back in 2010.

She has that awesome figure that we expect from female speed skaters; fit core, along with toned muscular legs. She too has retired from her sport, but we remember her fondly. She got engaged a few months ago; so again, sorry guys.

9. Leryn Franco

Leryn Franco is a Paraguayan track and field competitor who has specialized on the javelin throw. While she has never harmed anyone by throwing said projectile, one look at her and she pierced my heart. She has become as renowned throughout her career for her looks as her athleticism and thus took up modeling. She came in second place at the 2006 Miss Paraguay beauty pageant.

8. Caroline Wozniacki

With the amount of tennis players on this list, I’m starting to become a fan. Caroline Wozniacki came to prominence in the late 2000s, reaching number one worldwide ranking in 2010. The Danish star is currently number five in the world and almost married golfer Rory McIlroy last year. He broke up with her and is a great golfer, but if he thinks he can do better…alright maybe he can, but just take another look at her, wh obreaks up with that?! In April, the rumor machine started claiming that she is dating NFL MVP J.J. Watt. If that is the case, we have a message for the football player: good God J.J. be careful with her, you’re three times her size! Also, enjoy those legs, you’ve earned it big guy!

7. Julia Mancuso

Are there any female skiing enthusiasts who aren’t great looking? If there are, I don’t want to hear about it. Julia Mancuso is one of those rare Olympians who has not only competed in four Olympic games but earned medals in three, winning gold in Turin (giant slalom), two silver in Vancouver (downhill and combined) and a bronze last year in Sochi.

She’s in her early 30s now and is not a sure return to the U.S. national team for the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Either way, her body is among the best in the world, with legs that are the stuff of dreams.

6. Sabina Altynbekova

Well, I never thought I’d say (write?) these words, but it just might be time to book a trip to Kazakhstan. See, it still sounds weird. Maybe I’ll meet that charming news reporter who visited the States a few years ago. But more importantly, 18 year old Sabina Altynbekova is a Kazakh volleyball player who possesses some of the finest legs we have ever seen. She became somewhat famous last year at the Asian Junior Women’s Volleyball Championships. Described as too attractive and a distraction by her coaches, this gorgeous young lady just wants to play volleyball, and we just want to let her…as long as we can watch.

5. Bia and Branca Feres

What is an article if it’s missing a pair of Brazilian twins? The answer is “a waste of your time.” Born in 1988, these two started swimming and practicing gymnastics at a young age, eventually competing in the Pan Am Games, but not making any Olympic squads. They have stopped competing these days because they found work in modeling and as TV hostesses.

4. Sandra Gal

It wouldn’t be right to finish this piece off without another golfer and German Sandra Gal is a six-foot-tall babe with a gorgeous figure and an amazing pair of long legs. She has consistently been ranked in the top 100 female golfers in the world for the last five years and is widely considered to be the best female golfer ever to come out of Germany.

3. Sydney Leroux

Born in Canada, United States National Team striker Sydney Leroux moved to the United States as a teen to pursue her soccer career. She played four years for UCLA before turning pro, and has since played for two teams in the W-League and now plays for the Western New York Flash in the National Women’s Soccer League. She has appeared in ESPN’s The Body Issue and judge for yourself, she is as fit as a person can be and has a beautiful pair of legs…along with everything else.

2. Allison Stokke

And we return to the world of pole vaulting, but I think I am out of jokes. Allison Stokke competed in track and field for the California Golden Bears in college and is currently preparing to compete at the 2016 Olympics.

She’s among the most well-known names in women’s track and field, as she got her name out not only for being stunning, but also attaching GoPro cameras to herself and the beam while pole vaulting back in 2014. She’s in near perfect shape and has a jaw-dropping set of legs.

1. Sally Fitzgibbons

Our number one is Australian surfer and perfect ten Sally Fitzgibbons. After competing in a number of events from running, track and field and surfing during her youth, Fitzgibbons chose to pursue surfing as her primary interest back in 2009. She has been one of the most successful on the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Tour for the last few years, winning events in each of the last five years. She stands just over 5’7 and the time spent swimming and balancing on a board really shows, as her legs (and body, and face, and personality, probably) are phenomenal.
