If you have been a wrestling fan since the Attitude Era, then you probably still can't get over the fact that The Billion Dollar Princess is well on her way to run the biggest wrestling company in the world. Vince McMahon is now 72 years old and finally looking his age after what we saw on Raw, and with the XFL returning, he is expected to pass down many of his WWE related tasks. In previous years, there were debates regarding which side of the family would take over the WWE, but it has been determined that Stephanie, joined by her husband Triple H, will carry the torch once Vince is no longer able to.

They already have a say in plenty of matters as their involvement within the company seems to increase on yearly basis. Stephanie is said to have gotten closer to the talents in recent years as well, so she has formed some new friendships along the way. And as expected, there will always be Superstars around that she may not particularly be fond of. But as they have indicated on numerous occasions, Stephanie and Triple H will always do what's best for business - at least as far as they are concerned.

And despite Stephanie's role in the company, the final word still belongs to Vince as of today. Today brings another intriguing yet controversial list, as we look at 8 WWE stars that Stephanie would want released and 8 she would want pushed:

16 Released: Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler has become a seasoned veteran by this point and should be among the top WWE Superstars, yet he always finds himself lost in the shuffle. There was reported heat between Triple H and Ziggler a few years ago, which may have led him to struggle to advance further. According to rumors, Stephanie McMahon wasn't very fond of him either - at least not as much as the WWE Universe used to be at some point.

Ziggler seems like the type of person who doesn't care for backstage politics, based on what we have seen from him in interviews.

There were rumors about him wanting to leave the company although it seems like Ziggler will stick around for a few more years. Makes sense to cash in while still in his prime, but we wouldn't put it past Stephanie to make a push to release him from the roster.

15 Pushed: Sasha Banks

Stephanie McMahon has taken credit for being one of the figures responsible for the Women's Revolution, which got her closer to the female talents in recent years. Although she had differences with some of the older talents such as Gail Kim, Stephanie seems to have learned from her mistakes as she helped the company embrace a new chapter with the women's division. And one of her top favorites happens to be Sasha Banks, and it is believed that Stephanie and Triple H have been behind her push.

Vince McMahon seems to have had his doubts about The Boss, but the couple managed to convince him that she is among the best Superstars today. It was previously rumored that Stephanie and Sasha may engaged in a rivalry, but nothing came out of it with the exception of some segments. And if it was up to Stephanie, Banks would probably be the Women's Champion right now.

14 Released: Jeff Hardy

When the latest Jeff Hardy arrest occurred, some fans were afraid that he would be released from the company. It seems unlikely at this point although we bet that Stephanie McMahon wouldn't mind. A few years ago, Hardy was arguably the most over face in the company and fans had gotten really behind him - which is why Vince McMahon wanted to try him as the WWE Champion.

Most of the officials around him were supportive of him as WWE Champion with the exception of Stephanie, who didn't think it would be such a good idea.

It was reported that Stephanie didn't see Hardy as a World champion and also didn't trust him enough as far as avoiding trouble. She was overruled by the end and Hardy became champion. He hasn't done much since his return to the company - mostly due to an injury - but if it were up to Stephanie, he would be next in line for a release.

13 Pushed: Seth Rollins

When you're in good standing with Triple H, you are likely going to get along with Stephanie McMahon as well. Seth Rollins' solo career got off to a great and he was heavily pushed on RAW after being endorsed by Triple H. Since then, he has taken a back seat to several Superstars but has now began to gain back his momentum.

At the moment, there are many Superstars who may be ahead of Rollins in Vince McMahon's eyes, but if Stephanie had a say in the matter, she would likely vote for Rollins to be on the receiving end of another huge push. There will be a day when Triple H and Stephanie take control of the company, and if that happens within the next few years, then you can expect Rollins to have a brilliant future in the WWE based on his connections.

12 Released: Shane McMahon

As Kurt Angle recently declared, Shane McMahon isn't only a member of the owners' family but also has a contract as a WWE Superstar. We have seen Shane step into the ring several times since his return to the WWE - a move that wasn't favored by Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

There has always been a debate regarding who would take over after Vince, but it has become apparent that the couple would run the WWE.

That has created heat between the two sides since Shane wants to be apart of the company in a major role, while Stephanie and Triple H want him away from management. And as awkward as it nay be, Stephanie wouldn't mind giving him the boot again. He left the company once in 2009, and she would love for him to do the same again. If he sticks around the Stephanie may be the one to let him go after all.

11 Pushed: Naomi

Stephanie McMahon has been getting closer to the female talents as of the past few years, which made her a friend to some as much as a boss. One of the friendships that she has is with Naomi, which reportedly grew bigger once they had to work together. They were shooting a fitness video in which both performed some moves, and Stephanie seems to really have gotten along with Naomi.

She had plenty of praise for her after the interview, which may explain Naomi's major push last year. We wouldn't be surprised at all if it was Stephanie who pushed for Naomi to be given a chance with the title. And as long as Stephanie is around, it's likely that Naomi will continue to get opportunities. That is definitely one of the perks that comes with being on good terms with your boss, as Naomi probably realizes now.

10 Released: Lana

Lana is a unique situation in so many ways, as she has struggled to transition from manager to wrestler. She still had a successful run - mostly during her time with Rusev - but failed to make an impression as a wrestler. Despite getting multiple opportunities, Lana is clearly a few steps below the rest of the roster. She may have had bigger impact in previous eras, since her mic skills and good looks would have went a long way.

While Stephanie McMahon tends to get along with the majority of the female talents, it seems like Lana is one of the few exceptions.

Stephanie never mentions Lana in any of her interviews despite name dropping nearly everyone else, and nor have they been pictured together. Additionally, Lana already has heat with several Superstars, so her position in the company may already be at risk. Under Stephanie's regime, Lana would most likely get released.

9 Pushed: The Miz

The Miz has been in the WWE for over a decade, transitioning from a failed reality TV actor into arguably the best heel in the company. And while he did get on the nerves of management early in his career - mainly due to his annoying personality rather than attitude - he has now become a favorite among the McMahon family.

He is liked by everyone from Vince McMahon to Triple H, and of course Stephanie.

With all three being fans of The Miz' character and work ethic, it is likely that he will continue to enjoy major success with the WWE. But since Vince seems to be fixated on having Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns in the main event, The Miz will have to continue waiting for another shot at the top spot. And with Stephanie co-running things in the near future, you can expect The Miz to get a shot.

8 Released: Daniel Bryan

A few years ago, the WWE Universe fell in love with Daniel Bryan with the vast majority rooting for him to become the champion. In typical WWE fashion, his journey was made to be much tougher and complicated than it should have been. Not everyone in management was entirely sold on Bryan as a main eventer, which created some rifts. Stephanie McMahon was reportedly not a huge fan and among those who tried to slow down Bryan.

At the end, they couldn't avoid the hype any longer and finally made the right call to push Bryan to the top of the mountain. He has been acting as SmackDown General Manager since then after being forced to retire from the ring. And with Bryan insisting that he has been cleared to wrestle - possibly creating even more headaches for the company - we could see Stephanie stepping in to put an end to his dreams.

7 Pushed: The New Day

All three members of The New Day are fairly popular backstage. I guess it goes without saying that management is more likely to get along with those who have proven to be a draw. And regardless of how you may feel about The New Day, they have established themselves as the best tag team of their generation, as well as the most popular. They continue to sell plenty merchandise as of today, and it is said that both Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are fond of the group.

Stephanie has spoken highly about all three members and their ability to capture the attention of the WWE Universe. It seems like Vince doesn't want to split the group, but Triple H and Stephanie may feel different. And whenever that happens, you can bet that all three will present with opportunities to advance their careers since they seem to be respected by those in power.

6 Released: Jinder Mahal

Every now and then, WWE attempts to break into a new market and expand as much as possible. Last year, the company wanted to grow its status in India by having Jinder Mahal move as a main eventer. He shocked the WWE Universe by defeating Randy Orton for the WWE Title, and went on to have a fairly long run with the belt. He had the support of the two most important figures in WWE today; Vince McMahon and Triple H.

But not everyone was on board with the Jinder experiment, including Stephanie who had her doubts regarding a quick rise to the top.

It ended up being a flop as fans didn't really buy into Jinder as a main eventer, and the company failed to grow in India. If Triple H and Stephanie take over in the next few years, there is a strong possibility that he is gone from the WWE.

5 Pushed: Bayley

Can you imagine someone not liking Bayley? The WWE Universe may not be fond of the way she has been booked, but all fans who have met her as well as her peers, agree that she is a sweetheart. And with that being said, Bayley has made several friends backstage - among them is Stephanie McMahon.

She has worked more extensively with the female talents in the past two years, which means she got to know them well.

Stephanie and Triple H are both huge fans of Bayley, and believe she should be one of the top Superstars in the women's division.

The respect is mutual of course, as Bayley has been spotted with both on several occasions. And while Bayley hasn't reached her full potential yet, it is likely that Stephanie will pull for her backstage to continue advancing her career, especially since she hasn't had a great year.

4 Released: Mickie James

Being one of the veterans of the women's division, you would think that Mickie James would be close to Stephanie McMahon. That doesn't seem the case and we can only speculate as to why. Many former Divas such as Gail Kim have accused Stephanie of attempting to take all the credit for the women's revolution when she didn't care to advance the division in past years.

And when James came to WWE, the women division was already at a very low point and would get only worse for the next couple years. So we wouldn't be surprised if there is even heat between them although it isn't significant enough to have any trouble brewing between them. And with Stephanie appearing to be close to most of the newer female talents, that leaves James as the odd woman out, so it is likely that she would get waived by the company.

3 Pushed: Finn Balor

When Finn Balor was crowned the first WWE Universal Champion, fans were shocked to say the least. Most thought that management must be truly believe in him to allow him to have the title in a short time. As it turned out, reports have revealed that Vince McMahon isn't among Balor's biggest supporters, believing that he isn't as over as a face as he should be.

It was Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's combined efforts that convinced Vince to try Balor with the title.

Since then, they have remained invested in his career with Triple H supposedly complaining to the RAW creative team about Balor's booking. Balor is likely to be around for many years to come, and with the current friendship as well as respect that he has with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, then you can bet that he will remain one of the top Superstars in the WWE.

2 Released: Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is known for being a jerk in real life, and not exactly the most social person. Despite having been employed by the WWE for many years, Lesnar has kept it professional with management and rarely does he ever make friendships with people in the industry. His relationship with Vince McMahon has always been strictly business and nothing more, while he seems to have minor heat with Triple H.

As for Stephanie, it seems like they don't particularly get along in real life although they do tolerate each other since money is involved. Two years ago, Stephanie made a statement that WWE wouldn't be promoting Lesnar's upcoming UFC fight. When asked about her comment, Lesnar told the reporters that he doesn't care what she has to say. He was employed by the WWE at the time, but of course he can get away with things that most wouldn't be able to.

1 Pushed: Ronda Rousey

This is an obvious one, as Rousey's push is already in full swing, with her set to team with Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie at WrestleMania. There are even some whispers that the company might even make it the main event. There's more to this Rousey push though, as Stephanie wants to build a rivalry with Rousey akin to the iconic Stone Cold Steve Austin/Vince McMahon rivalry that took center stage in the Attitude Era. Being that Vince ended up becoming a bigger star himself out of it, Stephanie wants the rivalry with Rousey to work so well that she in turn becomes a more prominent face around the world and begins to be recognized as the most powerful authority figure in WWE. So with Stephanie set up as the main antagonist, the bigger star Rousey is, the more famous Stephanie gets.
