WCW is one of the most important promotions in the history of the wrestling business, and the competition that it brought against WWE during the Attitude Era helped to make it feel important. WCW may have ultimately lost the 'Monday Night War' but throughout its history the company certainly had a great roster.

Nowadays, the vast majority of people who worked for WCW are retired and no longer competing, with the likes of Bret Hart and Ric Flair having hung up their boots. However, there are still several former WCW stars that are active to this day, continuing to entertain fans around the world.

10 Christopher Daniels

Christopher Daniels posing

Christopher Daniels is one of the most experienced wrestlers in the world, who has competed for all the major promotions at some stage in his career, including WCW. Daniels still gets to work occasionally for AEW and ROH, but he is primarily focused on his backstage work nowadays.

He is still able to put on great matches, which is why he remains part of the product, but there is no denying that Daniels has lost a step in terms of pace, which is to be expected.

9 PCO

PCO ROH World Championship

PCO is another that has lost a little pace and accuracy overall in his career, but he enjoyed a career resurgence during his run with ROH, and he has continued that since joining Impact Wrestling. PCO is a daredevil, despite the fact he's a larger wrestler, and the fact he throws himself into crazy spots is something that fans love.

He is also still a brilliant monster, being able to use his size and strength to his advantage inside the ring, which makes his matches a lot of fun to watch overall. He doesn't move quite as freely as he once did, but PCO can still entertain fans and work at a level high enough to remain on television.

8 Paul Wight

Paul Wight in AEW

Paul Wight is still technically an active wrestler, although he has not been working as frequently as some of his fellow WCW alumni. Wight is signed to AEW, and he primarily works in the broadcast team rather than as a professional wrestler, but he is used occasionally inside the ring, and he hasn't retired.

Wight knows what he is doing when putting his matches together, working as the giant that dominates the majority of the encounter. He is able to tell simple stories that are effective, and while he's not at the same level as he was before, Wight can still get the job done.

7 RVD

RVD 2022 Cropped

RVD is well known for his unique high-flying moves, and that is a style that isn't as easy to maintain over a lengthy period, yet he has managed to do a great job of it. While he isn't hitting things at the same pace he would do in his prime, RVD can still connect with his classic moves to entertain wrestling fans.

RVD isn't wrestling for a television company unlike others, and that means he can pick and choose where and when he wants to work. That means that fans are guaranteed to see a motivated version of him, with RVD's performances still being at a high standard.

6 Goldberg

Goldberg prom

Goldberg isn't working on a weekly basis, but he is brought in by WWE occasionally for featured matches at major PPVs, proving he is still a massive draw for the business. He is one of WCW's most iconic names, but that was never because of his in-ring ability, as Goldberg hasn't ever been seen as a technical worker.

That hasn't changed over time, but Goldberg is able to put together entertaining matches that leave fans entertained as he knows what he is good at, and he sticks to it. Goldberg comes out, hits his moves and leaves, and that's something that he is still effective at.

5 Sting

Sting AEW Scorpion Death Drop

Sting has been through a lot over his career, and because of that he is much slower inside the ring, but he makes up for that by bringing tons of energy into everything that he does. In AEW he has been booked perfectly, often competing in tag team matches that has hidden his flaws and allowed him to shine in all the right moments.

The fact that Sting still hits insane spots such as table bumps or launching himself off barricades proves he loves competing as much as ever, and that translates to the audience.

4 Meiko Satomura

Meiko Satomura Cropped

WCW was never known for its women's division, but Meiko Satomura was someone that managed to thrive despite that fact. Often being seen as 'The Final Boss,' this wrestling veteran is someone that still puts together brilliant matches to this day in NXT.

Satomura might be a step slower, but her strikes are just as aggressive, and that is all that matters. The former NXT UK Women's Champion uses her experience in a great way to ensure that all her matches are well paced and enjoyable to watch.

3 Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio in WWE.

The fact that Rey Mysterio is still able to work the way that he does to this day is mind-blowing due to the style he wrestles and the knee problems he has had. However, the former WCW star is very much still active in WWE, and he looks as good as ever inside the squared circle.

Mysterio works at a great pace and puts together some amazing matches, even if he isn't booked as a main event player in WWE. His efforts are clear to see, and Mysterio is very much still one of the most fun wrestlers to watch.

2 AJ Styles

AJ Styles WWE Promo

AJ Styles was never one of the big stars in WCW, but he was a young wrestler just starting to break out when the company was bought by WWE. He didn't get taken on at that time, but Styles finds himself competing for the company now, and he still remains one of the most gifted wrestlers on the planet.

Styles hasn't been pushed as a main event name in a while now by the company, but he is used on a weekly basis, and in featured storylines. Inside the ring he isn't quite as aerial as he was during his TNA days, but Styles is still capable of putting together an incredible match.

1 Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho 2021

Out of all the active former WCW Superstars, Chris Jericho is working at the highest level to this day. Jericho is a main event name for AEW, running his own faction and putting together major storylines regularly. His recent match with Bryan Danielson showcased that he hasn't missed a step inside the ring either.

Jericho's career only went up after he left WCW, and he has never looked back since. The fact he remains just as relevant now as he was 10 years ago is a credit to him, with Jericho currently in fantastic shape it is likely he will be able to sustain that level for a long time to come.
