It's hard to imagine Charlotte Flair competing on a kickoff show at a WWE premium live event, but the 2021 Royal Rumble took place in the WWE ThunderDome during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, Charlotte teamed up with Raw Women's Champion Asuka, and they defended the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against former champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

This was a back-and-forth championship match, and Charlotte was pulling double duty as did Jax and Baszler as they were competing in the 2021 women's Royal Rumble match. Charlotte executed a double Natural Selection to both Jax and Baszler but Baszler kicked out. However, Charlotte was distracted by her father Ric, and Lacey Evans. Evans hit Charlotte with a Woman's Right whilst she cinched in Figure Eight to Baszler. Jax took advantage by connecting with a running leg drop on Charlotte, and she reclaimed the titles for herself and the Queen of Spades.

Former best friends Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch competed at the Royal Rumble for the first time in 2016, and it was a marquee match with Charlotte's Divas Championship at stake. The crowd was firmly on Lynch's side as they wanted to see dethrone Charlotte.

This wasn't a vintage match between the pair, but it was still a competitive one on a grand stage. Ric Flair played a huge part in the outcome of the match as Lynch was closing in on the Divas Championship with Dis-Arm-Her. Naitch threw his jacket onto Lynch, and Charlotte connected with a Spear to remain Divas Champion. Afterward, Sasha Banks made her return, and she attacked the Queen.

Charlotte Flair was looking to put her disappointment of dropping the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship behind her by competing in the 2021 women's Royal Rumble match. The Queen was looking to make history as the first woman to win back-to-back Royal Rumble matches, and she joined the fray as the 15th participant.

The Queen had a good outing as she endured 33 minutes and 47 seconds. She only registered a sole elimination which was Peyton Royce. Nevertheless, Charlotte reached the final three, but she was eliminated by Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley.

The Raw Women's Championship was defended at the Royal Rumble for the first time in 2017 with Charlotte putting her title on the line against Bayley. This was the curtain-raiser, and this match did not fail to disappoint with Bayley pushing Charlotte to the limit.

Bayley had a lot of offense in this match, but Charlotte resorted to using submission holds to keep Bayley at bay. It was a valiant effort from Bayley, but the Queen executed Natural Selection on the apron to retain the Raw Women's Championship, and she extended her record in pay-per-view championship matches to 16-0.

3 Women's Royal Rumble Match - 2022

Charlotte Flair's inclusion in the 2022 women's Royal Rumble match was surprising as she was the reigning SmackDown Women's Champion. Nonetheless, the Queen was seeking a second Royal Rumble match victory in three years. The Opportunity was the 17th entrant, and she produced a superb performance as expected from someone of her caliber.

Charlotte was on a rampage as she eliminated Aliyah, WWE Hall of Famer Lita, Rhea Ripley, Shayna Baszler, and the 2021 winner Bianca Belair. Charlotte had a showdown with Ronda Rousey, who made her in-ring WWE return to action for the first time in almost three years. Charlotte attempted a big boot, but the Baddest Woman on the Planet grabbed her foot and she hauled her over the top rope to win the women's Royal Rumble match on the first attempt.

Charlotte Flair competed in the women's Royal Rumble for the first time in 2019, as she was the SmackDown Women's Champion for the inaugural one which she watched at ringside. Entering 13th, Charlotte played a massive part in the outcome of the women's Royal Rumble match.

The Queen lasted 50 minutes, and she eliminated five competitors. Xia Li, Tamina, Lacey Evans, Carmella, and with a helping hand from Nia Jax, Bayley was another participant to be eliminated by the Queen. The final two competitors were Charlotte and her former best friend Becky Lynch. They had a remarkable exchange with Charlotte attempting a big boot, but Lynch moved out of the way, and she clotheslined Charlotte off the apron to win the women's Royal Rumble match.

A Royal Rumble match victory was missing from Charlotte Flair's resume, and she was looking to plot her route on the road to WrestleMania 36 by winning the 2020 women's Royal Rumble match. The Queen joined the women's Royal Rumble match as the 17th entrant, and all eyes were on her to deliver the goods.

Charlotte eliminated Bianca Belair, Sarah Logan, and former Divas Champion Kelly Kelly in succession. Charlotte had to be wary of Shayna Baszler, who eliminated a joint record eight competitors. Baszler was close to flinging Charlotte over the top rope, but the Queen hung on, and she eliminated Baszler from the women's Royal Rumble to win the Rumble for the first time in her career, earning the right to challenge for a WWE Women's Championship of her choosing.
