"Stone Cold" Steve Austin had one of the most popular finishing moves in all of wrestling: the Stone Cold Stunner. Over the years, many wrestlers have added this move to their arsenal. However, not many have been successfully able to use the Stone Cold Stunner as Austin did during the Attitude Era.

The following wrestlers have used this move in their career, whether it was a one-time thing or as part of their regular moves. But outside of a few, most switched to a different finisher later. Currently, there's only one active WWE wrestler who uses the Stone Cold Stunner regularly on the main roster.

Note: Jim Ross also hit the Stone Cold Stunner on a couple of occasions, but he won't be included in this list. We also won't consider variations of the move, like John Cena's Springboard Stunner.

10 Steve Austin

Since it's called Stone Cold Stunner, The Texas Rattlesnake had to be on this list. He started using Stunner as his finisher in March 1996 and didn't change it for the rest of his career.

Austin retired early due to numerous injuries, but he returned this year to face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38. Between this, he's made several on-screen appearances on WWE television, and fans always get excited to see him stun someone. You can't say 'Stunner' without "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

9 Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens joined WWE in late 2014 and used Pop-up Powerbomb as his finishing move. He still uses the move during matches but not as a finisher. Since July 2019, Kevin has been using the Stone Cold Stunner as his finishing move.

When Owens went to ask Steve's permission about using the move, he got his blessings. Many fans believe that Owens was the only wrestler who could successfully adopt the Stone Cold Stunner as his finishing move in WWE. The fact that the two faced off in the main-event of WrestleMania just proves that Owens was the right choice.

8 Disco Inferno

Disco Inferno

Disco Inferno was a mid-carder in WCW who also used the Stunner as his finisher but under a different name. He adopted this move when Austin started getting popular in wrestling.

Disco's move was called the Chartbuster, and for many fans, this was a better name than Stone Cold Stunner. Regardless, in the annals of history, everyone remembers the Stunner, not the Chartbuster.

7 Willie Mack

Willie Mack

Willie Mack started using Stunner in 2015, and it's one of his finishing moves. Once, X-Pac asked Steve Austin how he feels about Mack using Stunner and Austin said he does a great job with it.

In addition to using the conventional set-up for the move, Mack also does a cool variation where he bounces off the ropes to hit the move.

Former Impact Knockouts Champion, Velvet Sky also used the Stunner as one of her signature moves in Impact Wrestling. She called it #1 Stunna. Sky started using the move in mid-2015 and used it until her retirement in 2017.

She later managed Chris Saben and became a commentator in March 2021.

5 Mikey Whipwreck

Former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Mikey Whipwreck also used the Stunner as his finishing move. He called it the Whippersnapper. Some fans think that Austin borrowed his finisher from Mikey, which isn't true.

Mikey got it from Jimmy Garvin who called the move 911. Whereas Austin got it from Michael Hayes.

4 The Rock

The Rock and Steve Austin were each other's biggest enemies in WWE. Both stars used each other's finishers often during their matches. At WrestleMania 19, both wrestlers faced each other again. This was their third encounter at the Shows of Shows. The Rock used the SC Stunner on Austin but failed to get the pin.

He finally won the match after multiple Rock Bottoms on Steve. After this match, Austin retired from wrestling until his one-time return at WrestleMania 38 against Kevin Owens.

3 Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch's stock rose in late 2018 after her heel turn at SummerSlam. Fans also started comparing her anti-hero character with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. For a brief time, Lynch even started using the Stone Cold Stunner during her matches in house shows. In early 2019, she started using the Pumphandle Uranage (Rock Bottom) and called it The Manhandle Slam.

The Man once even stunned Austin himself on the fourth episode of Straight Up Steve Austin. For those who are unaware, this was an interview-based reality television show produced by the USA Network.

2 Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt 2022

After a failed main roster run as Husky Harris, Bray Wyatt was sent back to the developmental brand, FCW, to train further. He was repackaged as Alex Mulligan and the Stone Cold Stunner became his finisher.

But this didn't last very long. The Alex Mulligan character was nixed in a short time, and he was once again repacked as the leader of The Wyatt Family.

1 Eugene

Eugene Evolution

Eugene started using the Stone Cold Stunner in April 2004. He used the move for the next five years and hit it on the likes of Edge, Kurt Angle, and many more. Eugene was meant to be a comedy character, but his mentally challenged gimmick didn't take him far. He was over with the fans, but WWE knew his success was limited.

In 2007, he was released from WWE and returned to Ohio Valley Wrestling. He briefly returned to the company in 2009, but his stay didn't last long. His third return happened in 2013 as an NXT trainer. A year later, WWE released him again.
