Throughout the history of professional wrestling and in WWE, siblings have been introduced in many storylines. Sometimes they work as a cohesive unit, and other times they are rivals. The likes of Kane and The Undertaker, and Edge and Christian are storyline brothers who clinched multiple WWE Tag Team Championships. However, real-life brothers have combined to put their hands on WWE Tag Team Championships.

The Creed Brothers comprised of Brutus Creed and Julius Creed are one of the fastest-rising tag teams in NXT 2.0. Malcolm Bivens was their manager, and they are members of the Diamond Mine. On the June 4, 2022 edition of In Your House, the Creed Brothers made history as the first pair of brothers to win the NXT Tag Team Championship.

They defeated Pretty Deadly for the titles in a high-stakes match as they would have been booted out of the Diamond Mine had they not won the titles. It remains to be seen as to how long the Creed Brothers' NXT Tag Team Championship reign would last. Time is on their side, and if they get moved to the main roster, they could capture multiple WWE Tag Team Championships.

The sons of Carlos Colon dethroned Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

The highlight of their time as champions came at WrestleMania 25. The Colons battled past The Miz and John Morrison to become the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions on the pre-show. Their reign was ended by the makeshift tag team of Chris Jericho and Edge at The Bash 2009. They soon went their separate ways, and Carlito departed WWE in 2010.

Despite the age difference between Cody Rhodes and Goldust, their bond as brothers is strong. Especially in 2013, when they became a tag team and went to battle with The Shield. That was some of the best work in both men's careers, and they ended The Shield's stranglehold on the WWE Tag Team Championship. Surprisingly, their first run with the gold was curtailed by the New Age Outlaws on the 2014 Royal Rumble kick-off show.

The Wild Samoans collectively held the gold for 431 days, which is the fifth-longest run for the original WWE Tag Team Championship. Fans never got to witness the Steiner Brothers win the WWE Tag Team Championship live on television as their two runs as champions began on house shows. Money Inc. was their victim on both occasions in June 1993. The Steiner Brothers were finally immortalized in 2022 as they joined the WWE Hall of Fame which was long overdue.
