The last WCW run of Jeff Jarrett saw him getting pushed to the moon by Vince Russo. One of the ideas was to have Ron and Don Harris becoming his enforcers. The Harris Brothers were two of the most physically intimidating wrestlers of the ‘90s.

Jarrett often won matches thanks to the interference of Don and Ron getting involved with outside interference. The trio even worked together to feud with the Filthy Animals in six-man tag matches with minimal success.

Everyone talks about the moment of David Arquette winning the WCW Championship, but his title loss was almost as controversial. WCW booked a triple cage match from the Ready to Rumble movie with Arquette defending against his friend Diamond Dallas Page and enemy Jeff Jarrett.

WCW booked Starrcade as the most important event of the year, but it had little importance towards the end of the company’s run. Starrcade 1999 showed that with a flawed card that featured Jeff Jarrett having two matches on the night.

Jarrett won the title from David Arquette in the infamous triple cage match, but he dropped it to Ric Flair a week later. WCW vacated the title the following week with Jarrett winning and losing it to Kevin Nash in back to back days. A third WCW Championship reign that month came when Jarrett defeated Flair, who once again won it from Nash.

Jeff Jarrett is one of the names most forgotten for his time in the Four Horsemen faction. WCW placed both Jarrett and Steve “Mongo” McMichael in the group trying to hold down that fourth spot and often butting heads.

The other members of the Horsemen made their decision after months of build with Mongo getting the nod. Jarrett however did secure his revenge when Debra betrayed McMichael to align with Jeff moving forward.

2 Feuding With Returning Legends

Jimmy Snuka

Jeff Jarrett Vs Sting

WCW placed Jeff Jarrett in a feud with Sting heading into the Halloween Havoc 2000 event. Both men were former world champions at that point and did their best to make the semi-main event spot more important for WCW.

The match featured a shocking twist of guys dressed and painted in various versions of Sting’s past. Surfer Sting, Crow Sting and Wolfpac Sting were just some of the looks of the talents Sting attacked. Jarrett eventually had enough distractions to steal the win over the top face.
