10 Busting The Wellness Policy
Randy Orton is in a role model position for the company, being pushed as one of the main event players in WWE. Because of that, it is unlikely that WWE will want fans to know about the fact he has broken the wellness policy twice throughout his career.
Wrestlers only get three strikes on that, and when they break it a third time the company has to release them. That's something that Orton is facing should that ever happen again, and it is a fact that WWE will not want people to know about.
9 Losing The WWE Title To Jinder Mahal
When WWE decided to randomly push Jinder Mahal to the main event scene, fans were left very surprised. However, the fact it was Randy Orton he defeated to become the WWE Champion was even more shocking, considering the star power of the Viper.
Had Mahal maintained the main event status, then the company would likely not have a problem mentioning this. However, the fact that Jinder has now dropped the card again means that WWE will be unlikely to tell people he took the top title away from Orton.
8 The Burnt Mask
Now and then WWE creates a situation where a wrestler needs to change their look for a brief period. After being burned by The Fiend, that was exactly what happened to Randy Orton. The company had him wear a mask that was done to put over the scars.
The idea was right, in order to make it look like there was a lot of damage, however Orton just looked ridiculous. It's not something that screamed top superstar, and because of that it is unlikely that WWE will ever be dragging this version of him back up.
7 Claiming Eddie's In Hell
Promos can often lead to comments in the heat of the moment that wrestlers regret, and when Randy Orton feuded with Rey Mysterio after Eddie Guerrero's death, that is what the Viper experienced. The entire angle of Rey's push was built around Eddie's passing, which is why Orton mentioned him.
However, Randy claimed that Eddie was down in hell, which turned out to be a controversial one at the time. It's something he likely regrets, and this is not a comment that WWE will be digging out of the archives to remind people of.
6 House Of Horrors
Randy Orton had a lot of strange moments with Bray Wyatt over the years, and their House of Horrors match was an example of that. There have been a lot of great cinematic matches in recent history, which WWE will likely want to talk about regularly in the years to come.
However, this wasn't one of those, as things were clunky and rather awkward. The company would likely prefer that fans forget about this match, mainly because it wasn't entertaining, and it simply wasn't a classic from Orton's past.

During his time as the Legend Killer, Randy Orton was given the opportunity to go over a lot of top names. Mick Foley, in particular, did a lot of work for him, taking some huge bumps in order to make Orton look like a top star, but the same cannot be said for Hulk Hogan.
Randy got the chance to go one on one with the Hulkster, but he didn't win. The loss made no sense in terms of booking for Orton, which is something that hurt his momentum at the time, and isn't something that WWE will want fans to recall.

He only held the title for 28 days, and it wasn't a good reign that impressed anybody. It left a lot more questions about him than anything else, and that isn't going to be what WWE wants fans to think about when it comes to him.
3 Brock Lesnar Destroys Him
Randy Orton colliding with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam in 2016 was a huge dream match that people were excited about, but the finish left everyone confused. The Beast just smashed his head repeatedly with legitimate elbow strikes to bust him open, despite the fact WWE is a PG company.
The angle never led to anything, with no further matches happening, and audiences were left to wonder here. With this being one of the most violent moments of the PG years, WWE isn't going to be bringing this up.
2 Losing It Against Kofi Kingston
Randy Orton has admitted that he used to have issues with his attitude and his temper, which was mainly focused on behind the scenes problems. However, during one match with Kofi Kingston he completely lost his cool because Kofi was out of time on a spot, and that could be seen.
He screamed, "stupid" repeatedly at the younger wrestler, which was an embarrassing moment at that time. It's something that Orton would likely want people to forget now that he has matured, and WWE would likely not want to show him in that manner either.

One low moment from Randy Orton's career took place in 2007 when he ended up being sent home from a European tour. It is something that WWE would rather fans forget about, because the fact they had to send him away showcases how poorly he was behaving at that time.
Orton had trashed a hotel room at the time, which was disrespectful, and it was something WWE didn't tolerate. But the company will not be looking to recall this situation in order to ensure Orton doesn't look bad in the eyes of the fans.
