20Detroit Lions Sign Tevin Coleman
The Atlanta Falcons surely won't re-sign Tevin Coleman; not with Devonta Freeman the No. 1 back in that offense.
The Detroit Lions needn't a reminder about how porous their rushing offense has been. They haven't had a 1,000-yard rusher since the 2013 season, when Reggie Bush accomplished the feat.
Detroit's ground game has been better in 2018, but not exactly game-changing. Veteran LeGarrette Blount likely won't be brought back. Expect
him to hit the open market, meaning the Lions need another RB to complement Kerryon Johnson.
Coleman has the ability to be a legitimate No. 1 back and would work nicely as a pass-catcher for Matthew Stafford here. Matt Patricia loves his running backs, and Coleman is the ideal player for his sort of offense.
