Once in a while, an announcer will say something that leads you face-palming yourself. That's not the case here, as Mike Golic of ESPN's Mike & Mike In The Morning gave his thoughts on the NFL suspending Greg Hardy an additional 10 games. Hardy was placed on the commissioner's exempt list last year, as he missed 15 games while under investigation for domestic abuse.
The charges against Hardy were dropped when the victim, his ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder, failed to show up in court. Hardy was off the hook despite overwhelming evidence against him. Hardy was still paid his $13.1 million base salary last year, but this 10-game suspension is without pay.
It's still shameful that an NFL team would sign him back. Mike Golic nailed it when he said people have lost sight over what's important here.
