31DETROIT LIONS: ANTONIO BROWN
Original Pick: Ndamukong Suh
Imagine where the Lions would be now if they had one of the league’s best wide receivers. The only reason Antonio Brown didn’t go first in this round is because it took him a few years to really grow into the receiver that he is today. But
that would not have affected the Lions who were working with the league’s best in Calvin Johnson, until he retired in 2015.
There’s no better way to plan it. Johnson and Brown paired with Matthew Stafford could have resulted in deep playoff runs. Johnson may have had a chance at a Super Bowl ring if he had Brown lining up with him. There’s no saying how far this team could have gone with two receivers like that. Plus, the Lions would be safe in knowing they still have one of the league’s best receivers, instead of Golden Tate, who puts up good numbers, but not great ones.
