We all know football can get hot and tense between teams but a pre-season scrimmage? There has to be some bad blood there.
One week before they begin their exhibition games, the Washington Redskins and Houston Texans had a "friendly" practice scrimmage against each other. It didn't take long for the friendship to get thrown out the window as the two teams went at it not once but four different times in bench-clearing brawls.
Ironically, the teams aren't scheduled to face each other during the regular season at all, making these fights even more meaningless. However, starting a major scrapper in practice may be a sign both the Redskins and Texans are ready for all comers this year.
