Some unflattering footage has surfaced from the Tennessee Titans' draft party last week. At LP Field last week in Nashville, two of Marcus Mariota's new teammates - receivers Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter- didn't seem too thrilled with the Titans' first-round selection.
The Tennessean reported that Hunter and Wright had been working with incumbent quarterback Zack Mettenberger in offseason workouts so it's possible Mettenberger had rallied the troops around him.
Hunter and Wright have tried to downplay the story, with them saying they reacted that way because they weren't surprised by the pick. They also said they had made a bet that the team was going to trade the pick and were disappointed to lose $200.
"Justin wasn't happy and sat down because he doesn't like giving his money away," Wright said.
Another theory could be they were incredibly disappointed because they were expecting Mariota, but heard the commissioner say they were getting some no-name loser named Marcus Mari-Otto.
Gee, imagine what their reaction was when the team took Dorial Green-Beckham the next round.
