In the Invasion angle, Chris Jericho and the owner of ECW, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley continued to clash. Therefore, at SummerSlam 2001, Stephanie hired Rhyno to carry out her dirty work, and the Alliance's muscle collided with Chris Jericho in an underrated contest.

Jericho and Rhyno provided an entertaining match, and Stephanie salivated every time that Rhyno had the upper hand. However, Jericho got the bragging rights as he cinched in the Walls of Jericho, leaving Rhyno no choice but to tap out.

Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle have had several battles over the years, and some of their matches fly under the radar. Their meeting at No Way Out 2000 had huge stakes as Jericho's Intercontinental Championship was on the line. Moreover, Angle was looking to become a double champion as he already held the European Championship.

Angle had nothing to lose since his European Title wasn't up for grabs. Jericho and Angle began their WWE careers, three months apart, but they were major players by the turn of the year. Angle resorted to cheating as he used the Intercontinental Title belt to block the Lionsault, and he captured the Intercontinental Championship.

One of Chris Jericho's first rivals in his WWE run was Road Dogg. Jericho made his WWE in-ring debut against Road Dogg on the August 26, 1999, edition of SmackDown. Jericho and Road Dogg had good chemistry together, and their matches were competitive.

Jericho didn't get off to a winning start, and he didn't care one bit. He got himself intentionally disqualified as he was executing a double powerbomb, and with the second one, he put Dogg through the table, which was set up in the ring.

Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler had a rematch from their SummerSlam 2012 encounter on the August 20, 2012 edition of Raw. Jericho was looking to replicate his SummerSlam victory, and this time, he was looking to unseat Ziggler and become Mr. Money in the Bank. However, there was a caveat as Jericho would have to depart WWE, should he fail to beat Ziggler.

Jericho's ribs were taped, and he was functioning at less than 100%. The Showoff was desperate to bounce back, and so he did as he sealed the deal with his patented Zig-Zag, and Jericho undertook another hiatus to go touring with his band, Fozzy.

At Over The Limit 2010, Chris Jericho and The Miz, who were both former Unified WWE Tag Team Champions with Big Show, formed a cohesive unit. They were looking to become Unified WWE Tag Team Champions together, but they had to overcome the Hart Dynasty.

This match was tons of fun, and Jericho caught Tyson Kidd in mid-air with a picture-perfect Codebreaker. Had Jericho covered Kidd straightaway, new Tag Team Champions would have been crowned. Nevertheless, David Hart Smith and Kidd weathered the storm, and they finished off Miz with the Hart Attack to remain champions.

5 Chris Jericho Vs. Kane - Raw (9/30/02)

The winner between Chris Jericho and Kane would go on to face Triple H in a title unification match at No Mercy 2002. Y2J's Intercontinental Championship was on the line, and Kane was aiming for more gold, as he was already one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions with The Hurricane.

This was the main event, and this was an underrated classic between the two participants. Y2J applied submission holds to wear down Kane. The Big Red Machine had the size and strength advantage. Triple H interfered, and Jericho managed to counter Kane's Chokeslam because of the distraction from the reigning World Heavyweight Champion. Nevertheless, Kane managed to execute the Chokeslam, and he became a two-time Intercontinental Champion.

Of course, the marquee matches and the Money in the Bank ladder matches are the most remembered matches on Money in the Bank events. However, at the 2013 iteration of the event, Chris Jericho squared off with Ryback.

Jericho and Ryback's match was average, and there's no doubt that Y2J would have preferred to have featured in the marquee All-Stars Money in the Bank ladder match. Ultimately, Jericho missed the Lionsault, and Ryback picked up the win with a roll-up.

The newly-crowned World Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and Christian put their titles on the line against Booker T and Goldust at No Mercy 2002. Booker and Goldust were in the early stages of a blossoming tag team, but it was clear to see that they were going to become popular.

Jericho, Christian, Booker, and Goldust opened up proceedings, and they got the show off to a brilliant start. The middle rope broke, but Jericho executed a bulldog on Goldust one of the title belts, and he finished off the job with the Lionsault, and thus retained the World Tag Team Championships.

24 hours removed from the grueling Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 21, Chris Jericho, Christian, and Shelton Benjamin battled over the Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat match on the April 4, 2005, episode of Raw. All three sold the effects from the Money in the Bank ladder match the night prior.

Nevertheless, the trio still managed to produce an enthralling Intercontinental Championship match. There were several near-falls and the action was fast-paced. Christian's problem solver Tyson Tomko also got involved. It was a valiant effort from both challengers, but Jericho came up short with Benjamin retaining the Intercontinental Title.

The odds were stacked against Jericho as he would lose the title had he got disqualified or counted out. Steve Austin assumed control as the special guest referee, and Jericho was far from pleased with the votes. Randy Orton and Michaels also interfered in the match.
