Emilio Estevez Is Still The Mighty Duck Man, Takes A Shot At Blackhawks

We know that actors tend to be very dedicated to their roles. Last night there was one in particular, still displaying if after nearly 20 years away from the role. And who do you think that guy was? Emilio Estevez, the Mighty Duck man!

It seems in Emilio Estevez's case, he's still embracing his Gordon Bombay character from a childhood favorite Mighty Ducks franchise.

The franchise was the inspiration for the Anaheim Ducks, who were originally owned by Disney, and Estevez is continuing his support through the Ducks' impressive playoff run this year. He went all out Gordon Bombay on Twitter during Game 5 against the Chicago Blackhawks (the Hawks were the name of the antagonist team in the first Might Ducks movie).

Wow, Emilio. Way to stay dedicated to the franchise after all these years. Now, give us a D4 movie, as has been rumored the last couple of years.

Whether you're a Blackhawks fan and pissed off about that tweet (and his others) or you just loved the Mighty Ducks movies as much as I did as a kid, you have to admit one thing. He's still the Mighty Duck man. Way to go, Emilio! Emilio!... Emilio!
