Being best friends outside of the ring while entering into the WWE System around the same time, Chelsea Green and Deonna Purrazzo would attempt to get an all-female stable off the ground in WWE's developmental system during their time with the company. Pitching the idea for what would one day become VXT, Purrazzo and Green wanted to dominate NXT alongside former NXT and Impact Wrestling star, Rachel Ellering.
