With Alexa Bliss now cemented as a regular babyface star on Monday Nights and Mickie James leading Impact's Knockouts Division, the two feel miles apart from one another in their current roles. Still, at one point in time, Alexa and Mickie were a dominant heel force in WWE together.

Dressed in all black for an interview on Monday Night Raw, Mickie and Alexa would both certainly look the part of two top star's in WWE's thriving women's division. While not an iconic look, it serves as a nice reminder for this past duo.

9 Kicking Down The Forbidden Door

2022 would mark yet another historic year for Mickie James, as she would begin the year as Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion. With WWE hellbent on not using any NXT talent in the Royal Rumble this past year, Mickie James would get the chance to kick down the Forbidden Door by entering the match while representing Impact Wrestling.

Making her grand entrance at the PPV, Mickie would not only come out to her Hardcore Country theme song from Impact, but she would also arrive with the Knockouts Championship around her waist to a great reception from the fans in attendance.

8 Knockouts Champion In TNA

Not one to shy away from the camera or one to not show a bit of skin, during her time in TNA from 2010 to 2013, Mickie James would show off quite a bit while being one of the top stars in the Knockouts Division. Scoring 3 Knockouts Championship reigns during this period, Mickie would immediately cement a strong legacy in the company.

Showing off in a way to match her "Hardcore Country" persona that James established in TNA, this look that she would bring out meshed perfectly with her WWE character work with her character of TNA, busting out a bit of a cowgirl look as Knockouts Champion.

7 Special Guest Referee

Being a pro wrestler often means that talents are not just wrestling, but sometimes are given the roles of managers, valets, or playing the part of a referee at different points of their career. As highlighted by these photos, Mickie James did just that during her last run with WWE, in which she would serve as a special guest referee on multiple occasions.

During 2006, Mickie James would be reigning as WWE Women's Champion. While feuding with Trish Stratus, Mickie would take part in a Cheerleader match that would see the champion rocking a cheerleader outfit that probably would not fly at most schools.

Showing off more than real cheerleaders, Mickie James would take part in the match alongside Victoria, as the two would dress the part against the team of Maria and Torrie Wilson. Thanks to interference from Stratus, James would get pinned to continue their feud.

5 Taking Over NXT

Coming a bit out of nowhere, Mickie James' return match to the WWE system before eventually rejoining the main roster, would come in a very big special attraction match. Wrestling at NXT Takeover: Toronto in 2016, James would face off against Asuka during the latter's historic reign as NXT Women's Champion.

Wrestling in NXT during a period where the brand was on absolute fire, the return match would serve as a gateway for James to re-enter WWE later on, where she would form her duo with Alexa Bliss as a top heel duo in the company. For her match with Asuka however, Mickie would fail to dethrone the champion, though she would dress the part of a top star.

4 WWE Evolution

While many fans in the WWE Universe continue to wait for the company to put on another edition of the Evolution PPV, an all-women's show that garnered much acclaim from wrestling fans, those waiting can still look back at the one time event with hope. Mickie James, a staple of the women's division at the time, would take part in the show as she would take on her former rival, Trish Stratus in tag-team action.

Battling Trish and Lita, Mickie would wear a matching outfit with Alicia Fox and Alexa Bliss, as the three heels would cosplay as characters from Alice in Wonderland, with James delivering a firey look as the Queen of Hearts!

3 WrestleMania 33

Taking part in a special Six Pack Challenge Match for the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 33, Mickie James would come up short in terms of winning the match, though she would steal all of the attention with her special gear for the show. Honoring her heritage as part of the Powhatan Native American tribe, Mickie would sport quite the cool outfit for the show of shows.

Sporting a tribal headress and matching tribal-inspired gear, Mickie would light up the WrestleMania stage with one of her most memorable wrestling attires of her entire career. In the end however, she would fail to capture the Smackdown Championship.

2 Knockouts Champion

Defeating Deonna Purrazzo at Bound For Glory 2021 to win her fourth Impact Wrestling Knockouts Championship, Mickie James would quickly establish herself as not only a fighting champion, but one of the top women in wrestling. Feuding with Tasha Steelz in early 2022, James would host a State of the Knockouts Division Address where she would stun in a shimmering black bodysuit.

Stating her claim as the face of the division, her issues with Tasha would come to a head as the two would begin a lengthy feud that would see Mickie lose her title to Steelz thanks to her on-screen bestie, Chelsea Green, turning heel on her.

Easily the most iconic and memorable look of Mickie James' wrestling career, her outfit from the legendary WWE Women's Championship Match at WrestleMania 22 remains ingrained in many wrestling fans' minds all these years later. With Mickie's crazed-fangirl character, the two would go to war with the top prize of the women in WWE on the line.

Lasting only around 9 minutes, the two would not have all that much time, but they would make the most of it, delivering a memorable title match that would establish Mickie as a genuine threat as she would defeat Trish Stratus.
