Jamie Hayter is the NEW interim AEW Women's World Champion following a massive victory over Toni Storm at Full Gear 2022. It all went down at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, November 19. A Brit and an Aussie-Kiwi walked into a wrestling ring ... and chaos ensued.

Storm and Hayter beat the living hell out of each other, and the Newark crowd loved every second of it. As she has done since she captured the interim AEW Women's title a few months back, Storm fought valiantly and put in an absolute shift, but Hayter had Britt Baker and Rebel in her corner, and the numbers game was ultimately too much for Storm to weather.

At one point, referee Paul Turner ejected Rebel from ringisde, but Hayter's friend and former AEW Women's Champion Britt Baker (fresh off her defeat at the hands of Saraya earlier in the night) appeared in Rebel's stead. The finish came after Baker removed a turnbuckle pad and Storm ran head-first into it. Hayter then hit Storm with a Hayter-ade for the 1-2-3.

With her victory, Hayter is now the second interim AEW Women's World Champion in the promotion's history.

Toni Storm Interim champion

Toni Storm became Interim AEW Women's Champion at All Out on September 4 when she defeated Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Hikaru Shida in a four-way match. As you might recall, the match came about when lineal AEW Women's Champion Thunder Rosa sustained an injury and announced that she would be unable to defend the gold. As unfortunate as the injury was, Rosa is still technically the AEW Women's Champion.
