On last week's episode of Smackdown, fans saw Rey Mysterio speaking with Triple H and asking if he could be moved off of Monday Night Raw and instead given a spot on the Smackdown roster. Triple H granted Rey Mysterio's request partially because he needed to fill a spot in a fatal fourway to determine the next contender for Gunther's Intercontinental Championship.

Corbin was introduced to Raw's fans tonight by WWE Hall of Famer JBL.

JBL Reintroduces The WWE To Baron Corbin

JBL was predictably rude to the WWE Universe. He mocked the state of Oklahoma, its sports teams, and its residents. He also belitted the current WWE roster, saying that they could never hang with JBL's crowd back in the day. One star, though, has found himself in JBL's favor. That star is none other than Baron Corbin

Before tonight, Baron Corbin was absent from WWE TV for the past few weeks. In a recent interview, Corbin explained that this was because he and Triple H were working on re-imagining his character and planning on reintroducing him to the WWE. Now, their plan is coming to fruition. So far, his pairing with JBL is the most stark (and arguably the only noticeable) change. Corbin has the same titantron, a theme song that sounds very similar to his previous one, and still came to the ring in his signature "Happy Corbin" style of hat.

Happy Corbin Cropped

Corbin had a brief match against Dolph Ziggler after the latter came out to confront him and JBL. Corbin came up victorious with his End of Days finisher.
