Although both Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre weren’t quite at the star power of everyone else in this match, they were the clear standouts here as they provided some great intensity and violence in this well-worked Chamber match.

Kane had an impressive run throughout the match, adding his years of experience to ensure that this match was great. He eliminated both McIntyre and Big Show, before he was taken out by Edge. Edge and Rey Mysterio provided a wonderful back-and-forth during the final portion of the match too.

Kane walked into this match as the World Heavyweight Champion, and whilst his reign wasn’t the best up to this point, this match was fantastic. Even though it was a fatal-four-way Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match, it never once felt messy or out of control.

It was structured well, with everyone getting a chance to shine, with some big spots and moments peppered in throughout. Edge would emerge victorious, winning the title in a great moment.

Before this match even began, Edge attacked Kofi Kingston, taking his spot, and forcing his way into the match, creating a hugely intriguing dynamic for the rest of the contest. It wasn’t as brutal as some other Chamber matches, but from a storytelling perspective, it is up there with the best.

Kane didn’t spend too long in this match, with him being the first competitor eliminated, but he did the role he was supposed to do, adding to the bout rather than taking anything away from it.

The 2008 Royal Rumble had a special atmosphere with it taking place in Madison Square Garden, and it had several fun moments, nice cameos, huge returns, and a good pacing throughout.

Kane made it to the final four in this match, once again adding another strong performance to his Rumble résumé, with him being one of the most dominant competitors in the match’s history. In this match, he eliminated Roddy Piper, Jimmy Snuka, and John Morrison, before being double-teamed by Batista and Triple H, and thrown out.

This was the very first Elimination Chamber match, and it is still up there among the best of this stipulation. The field consisted of a range of different stars, with Shawn Michaels defeating Booker T, Triple H, RVD, Chris Jericho, and Kane.

There were several styles clashing in this match, and everything came together wonderfully. Kane went on several sprees of dominance throughout, looking like a monster even in defeat.

Kane walked into this match defending both Tag Team Championship belts by himself, and he walked out as the victor too. This match made him look like an unbeatable entity, painting him in a very strong light.

On a rare occasion in which a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match took place on Raw, it had a very special atmosphere surrounding the action. This had a superfast pace and ensured that the fans were invested from beginning to end.

4 Team Authority Vs Team Cena, Survivor Series 2014 (4.5 Stars)

This was one of the last Survivor Series elimination matches to truly mean something, and this is proof as to how much this match type can be benefited by having stakes on the line. If Team Cena won this match, the Authority was removed from power, and the fans were into every second of it.

“Corporate” Kane was on the heel side, and he made up a trio which had a 3-on-1 advantage over Dolph Ziggler, but with the assistance of Sting, the heels would come up short. This match had everything from surprisingly quick eliminations, heel turns, and an iconic debut.

Kane was once again part of a first-time ever match, with him competing in the inaugural Money in the Bank Ladder match at WrestleMania 21, on what was a star-making night as Edge would win the briefcase, beginning his ascent to stardom.

There were many big spots, insane moments, and a lot of carnage, with Kane playing the role as the monster heel during the match. He managed to keep up with the crazy pace of the contest, which is something a lot of bigger guys are unable to do.

The Invasion storyline is among the most baffling and mishandled angles in wrestling history. It had a lot of potential but overbooking and an overflow of talent led to it being disastrous. However, this Survivor Series match between Team WWE and Team Alliance was fantastic, and perhaps the peak of the entire storyline.

There was a lot of storytelling done throughout, and it was jam-packed full of all-time greats including Steve Austin, The Undertaker, The Rock, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Kane, and several more. There were some issues throughout, but it was still a lot of fun.

The Shield made their debut in this match, taking on the team of Kane, Daniel Bryan, and Ryback, and upon the final bell, three new stars had been made.

This was a chaotic, spot-filled, and hard-hitting Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match which completely stole the show, producing a Match of the Year candidate. Everyone worked together perfectly to create a masterclass of a performance, with it still being up there among the best matches of everyone’s careers out of those who were involved.
