Roman Reigns has had a Hall of Fame worthy career. He debuted as one of the pieces of one of the best stables of the century, then found his own way to the pinnacle, and now in his heel run he has established himself as one of the greatest in WWE history.

Reigns has had several great moments and some memorable matches. However, even The Tribal Chief has had some matches so bad or embarrassing that he wishes he could erase them from fans' memories. Without further ado, let's take a look at 10 matches Roman Reigns wants you to forget.

10 Vs. Shane McMahon - Super ShowDown 2019

Roman Reigns wants fans to forget his match against Shane McMahon at Super ShowDown 2019, that's for sure. In fact, surely Roman himself wants to forget it. This was arguably the worst match of his career. The in-ring action was boring, and Reigns was dominated by a McMahon who showed weak offense.

To make matters worse, there was no typical babyface comeback for the win as Shane McMahon pinned the Big Dog. Certainly, Drew McIntyre helped McMahon out, but it was still a terrible booking decision.

9 Vs. Sheamus – Survivor Series 2015

Roman Reigns v Sheamus Survivor Series 2015 Cropped

Roman Reigns' first World Heavyweight Championship reign did not go as he had hoped. At Survivor Series 2015, The Big Dog defeated his former partner Dean Ambrose to win the World Title.

The joy didn't last long, however, as Sheamus cashed in his Money In The Bank contract and defeated him in 34 seconds to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. No doubt this is a moment Roman Reigns wants the fans to forget.

8 Vs. King Corbin – TLC 2019

King Corbin v Roman Reigns TLC 2019 Cropped

The Tribal Chief wants you to forget that King Corbin was the last wrestler who pinned him. That’s right, the greatest superstar out there was pinned by a guy who has never been able to stand out in WWE’s main roster.

It was a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match, which was terrible, to make matters worse and give Reigns another reason to want us all to forget about it. Being the last man to cover Reigns has given Corbin more popularity than all of his career accomplishments.

7 Vs. Jinder Mahal – Money In The Bank 2018

Roman Reigns vs. Jinder Mahal

Roman Reigns surely wants everyone to forget his feud with Jinder Mahal and the good news is that many fans probably already did. This feud was insignificant, it contributed nothing to the company and even less to the wrestlers' careers, so it's no wonder that fans have already erased it from their memories.

At Money In The Bank 2018, they had a 15-minute match, which felt like an eternity. The in-ring action was boring, and the result was predictable, as Reigns won.

6 Vs. The Miz – RAW

Miz and Reigns

During the January 22, 2018, episode of Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns defended the Intercontinental Title against The Miz. It was an average match, with slow pacing and basic spots, but at least the fans made the atmosphere great.

In the end, The Miz managed to beat Reigns and became the new champion. Roman Reigns sure wants to forget that he lost the title to The Miz because of a stupid distraction in an ordinary match.

5 Vs. King Woods – SmackDown

King Woods vs. Roman Reigns

The Tribal Chief is practically untouchable, but for some reason, he looked vulnerable against King Woods on the November 12, 2021, episode of SmackDown. Certainly, Woods had won the King Of The Ring tournament and had momentum, but it doesn't make sense at all that he dominated the Universal Champion.

In the end Reigns couldn't beat Woods and the match ended by disqualification, although they later officially announced it was a no contest. Whoever produced this match had no idea what he was doing.

4 Vs. John Cena & Kevin Owens

Roman Reigns & Sami Zayn v John Cena & Kevin Owens SmackDown December 30, 2022 Cropped

John Cena and Kevin Owens defeated Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn on the December 30, 2022, episode of SmackDown. This match was a huge attraction and Roman Reigns surely enjoyed it, but at least in kayfabe terms he wants the fans to forget it.

The Tribal Chief himself said it "I didn't lose, he lost", washing his hands and pretending that he had nothing to do with the match. So, for Roman that defeat never existed, but it is Sami Zayn's responsibility.

3 Vs. Kevin Owens – Royal Rumble 2021

Roman Reigns Vs. Kevin Owens

At Royal Rumble 2021, Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens collided in a Last Man Standing Match. It was a brutal battle, but a botch ruined everything.

Owens handcuffed The Tribal Chief, who couldn't stand up because of it, then Paul Heyman had the handcuff key and was supposed to release him, but for some reason he couldn't do it and the referee stopped the count just like that. Surely Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, the referee, Kevin Owens and the entire WWE want the fans to forget that match.

2 Vs. Samoa Joe - Backlash 2018

Roman Reigns vs Samoa Joe Backlash

Surely Roman Reigns wanted to put on a good show alongside fellow Samoan Samoa Joe, but unfortunately it ended up being a match they both want to forget.

They headlined Backlash 2018 for no reason, there was nothing on the line, and their feud wasn't interesting enough to be the main event of a PPV. It was a very boring match from start to finish and the fans who stayed in the arena let it be known with their chants.

1 Vs. Brock Lesnar – WrestleMania 34

Brock Lesnar v Roman Reigns WrestleMania 34 Cropped

Brock Lesnar is arguably Roman Reigns' biggest rival, but that doesn't mean they didn't have disappointing matches. Everyone was looking forward to their showdown at WrestleMania 34, expecting something similar to WrestleMania 31, but the match ended up being pretty bad.

Spear, Spear, F-5, F-5, F-5, F-5, Spear, F-5, F-5, and that was it. Reigns couldn't take the Universal Title from the Beast after a disappointing contest on the biggest stage of them all, he sure wants the fans to forget about it.
