WWE is currently experiencing a massive change. With Vince McMahon out, and Triple H now at the helm of creative, there is no doubt that the WWE programming is destined to change. The 14 time World Champion has built a tremendous resume for himself due to his time in NXT, with a major reason for it being the quality of TakeOver PPVs presented by the brand. Looking at Hunter's track record, there is no denying that moving forward every WWE Premium Live Event will be a spectacle. This was further supported by the fact SummerSlam 2022, which was WWE's first major show under the new regime, earned applause from both fans and critics.

WrestleMania 39, from the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, is reportedly set to be the biggest "Grandest Show Of Them All" in decades, with multiple legends rumored to be on the show. Now with Triple H in charge, fans cannot help but think about the card that the "King of Kings" will put out. There are some matches he should book for the show.

10 Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn Vs The Usos - Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships

Usos-Sami-Zayn-Kevin-Owens

The Usos have been SmackDown Tag Team Champions for over a year at this point, and they added the Raw titles to their collection as well in the Spring of 2022. The members of Bloodline have defeated everyone there is to offer in WWE right now and surely are in a need for new credible challengers.

Kevin Owens, unfortunately, has been stuck in a midcard comedy role on Raw for ages now. However, fans are hopeful that will soon change now that Vince McMahon is gone. There will no better way to redeem Owens by reuniting him with his long-time best friend Zayn, challenging for the Usos' tag titles at 'Mania in the process. Not only will this make for a tremendous match, but will also play into the current Sami Zayn-Bloodline storyline.

9 Multi-Man Ladder Match - United States or Intercontinental Championship

Ladder-Match-WrestleMania-31

There is nothing better for a WrestleMania than a good old-fashioned Ladder match. This has been proven time after time by events such as 'Mania 17 and 'Mania 32, where a Ladder match taking place in a stadium full of fans felt like the match of the night.

However, WWE has abstained from such matches in recent years. With Triple H now in charge, a Ladder match for one of the secondary championships with talent like Ciampa, Mustafa Ali, Ricochet, and Gable will be a sight to behold.

8 John Cena Vs Theory

John-Cena-Theory

John Cena has not wrestled since his loss to Roman Reigns in the main event of SummerSlam 2021. However, the leader of the Cenation did return to Raw for his 20th Anniversary Special.

On that same episode, Cena had an angle with Theory which led many fans to believe that a match among the two was being planned for the future. With Mr. Money in the Bank being Vince McMahon's chosen star, it may be a great decision to have him go against Cena at "The Show of Shows". A major win against the former face of the company will be a perfect way to set Theory for a WWE Championship run.

7 Riddle Vs Randy Orton

Randy-Orton-Riddle

The team of Riddle and Orton, collectively known as RKBro, was the backbone of Raw's Tag Division for a major part of 2021 and 2022. Due to the duo's unparalleled chemistry with each other, they became one of the post popular acts on the entire roster in no time. However, the team hit a huge road-bump when Randy Orton was sidelined due to an injury.

If Orton is able to return in time for 'Mania, it would be a no-brainer on Hunter's part to book a match between him and the former UFC fighter. Whether it should be a friendly exhibition match or a full-blown heated rivalry can be up for debate, but there is no doubt that a match among the two should definitely be on the card. Riddle defeating Orton on a big stage is all he needs to push him into singles stardom.

6 Logan Paul Vs Pat McAfee

WWE has always loved having celebrity matches on their biggest show of the year. However, in recent years the company has hit a goldmine when it comes to having celebrity matches which are full of amazing in-ring action. Major credit for that goes to the likes of Logan Paul, Pat McAfee, and Bad Bunny. With the former two being under contract with the company, a match among the two can be a great idea for attracting attention from main stream media.

While a celebrity vs celebrity match sounds like a poor idea on paper, both Pat and Logan have proven themselves to be legit in the ring, and hence can put on a great match if inserted in the right spot. Moreover, both the stars can use their podcasts to build the match, which will be a unique yet realistic build to the bout.

5 Rey Mysterio Vs Dominik Mysterio

Mysterios-1

Dominik Mysterio made his debut at SummerSlam 2020 in a losing effort against Seth Rollins. Since then the younger Mysterio has been in a tag team with his father, with them even winning the SmackDown tag titles at one point.

Even though Dominik is yet to improve in many areas, 'Mania 39 might be the perfect place to do the father versus son match. Rey has previously talked about how he wants to pass on his mask to his son after a match at WrestleMania, which would lead to Dom taking on the "Prince Mysterio" name. With Rey at 47 years of age, there is only enough time for Hunter to book this long awaited match.

4 Becky Lynch Vs Ronda Rousey

Becky-Lynch-Ronda-Rousey

The feud between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey had the world buzzing back in 2018 and 2019, with the fans clamoring for a match between the two. However, Vince McMahon had other plans, and we ended up getting a triple threat at 'Mania 35 with Charlotte being inserted.

With Triple H now the one with the book, this is a perfect match to main event either night of 'Mania 39. Moreover, with Becky turning face and Ronda turning heel at SummerSlam, one can assume that The Game is simply aligning his chess pieces for this money feud.

3 Cody Rhodes Vs Seth Rollins - WWE Championship

Seth-Rollins-Cody-Rhodes

At WrestleMania 38, Cody Rhodes made his triumphant return to the WWE and defeated Seth Rollins in his first match back. The two then continued to feud in the coming months, which concluded in a fantastic Hell in a Cell match between the two.

Cody has talked about how winning the WWE Championship is the goal that brought him back to the company. Hence, it will be an amazing piece of booking if the grandson of a plumber returns from his injury at the Royal Rumble and wins the match, only for Seth to be the one holding the title at that time. Rhodes vs Rollins 4 will be a fantastic chapter in their rivalry considering it will be exactly 1 year removed from Cody's return, and an even better moment if Cody indeed wins the strap that night.

2 Edge Vs Brock Lesnar

Edge-Brock-Lesnar-Summerslam

It might come as a surprise to many that Edge and Lesnar have never faced each other in a singles match. The only match between the two took place at WWE Rebellion 2002, when Brock teamed with Paul Heyman to take on the Rated R Superstar in a handicap match.

In 2022, there are only a few genuine dream matches that WWE can put on, and this is one of them.

With the amount of star power shared by the competitors, this match can alone guarantee the event to be must-see spectacle. Moreover, Lesnar has not won a televised one-on-one match since Super ShowDown 2020, and Edge has had a rough 2022 too due to a botched heel turn. Hence, this match can really get one of the stars a much-needed huge win. The only hurdle would be convincing The Beast to come back for one more match.

1 Roman Reigns Vs The Rock

The-Rock-Roman-Reigns-WrestleMania-39

For this much anticipated dream match, WrestleMania 39 is indeed a matter of "now or never". The Rock has been rumored for years to make his WWE return at the WrestleMania Hollywood. With his cousin Roman Reigns having the run of his life right now, him going against Dwayne just feels like the match a great wrestling mind like Triple H would do anything to book.

The Rock and Roman have both talked about having this match at multiple occasions, and one can only imagine the energy they will pack up in the SoFi Stadium. Losing to his cousin with the entire Anoa'i Family at the ringside, is perhaps the most logical end to the legendary career of The Great One.
