15 Times Ronda Rousey Knocked Us Out On Instagram

Ronda Rousey is considered to be one of the women who began the worldwide Women's Revolution in sports ever since she managed to rise to the top in the UFC world. Ronda lost her UFC Championship to Holly Holm a few years ago, and it has been reported that ever since then she has been attempting to switch from The Octagon to a WWE ring. Rousey did return to the Octagon back in December but lost her match in less than a minute to current Champion Amanda Nunes.

The MMA star has been seen a number of times on WWE TV ever since she stepped into the ring alongside The Rock and decided to throw down with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H back at WrestleMania 31. Rousey has most recently appeared supporting her friend and fellow Horsewomen member Shayna Baszler as she progressed through the Mae Young Classic over the past few weeks. It is unknown whether or not Rousey is set to follow in the footsteps of her friend and sign a WWE contract, but what is known is that Rousey is one of the toughest women in the world, and if her Instagram page is anything to go by, she is also one of the most beautiful.

The following list looks at all the times that Ronda Rousey has shown off her incredible looks on Instagram.

15 Photo Shoot

A post shared by rondarousey (@rondarousey) on

Ronda's photo shoot with Buffalo Jeans has already been mentioned, but here is another image from the shoot she did to promote the brand that she became the face of back in 2016.

It is slightly odd for an MMA fighter to be the face of a jeans company since Ronda is rarely ever seen wearing jeans because they aren't something that anyone would be able to train in. That being said, it is easy to see why the company chose Ronda to be the face of their brand. She has the perfect body type and there will be many women who will look at this and think that they can look just like one of the most dominant female athletes in the world. Let's be honest, there are many women who would love to look like Ronda Rousey.

Fame comes in many different forms. While Ronda's media restraints have already been mentioned, what hasn't been mentioned is the fact that Rousey has also appeared on a number of fitness magazine covers as well.

As already mentioned, Ronda is body positive and once again here she is showing off just how proud she is of the skin that she is in. Self Magazine is a publication that prides itself on sharing workouts for women, tips on eating healthy and even columns that talk about keeping your brain healthy too. It's the perfect magazine for Ronda to be on the cover of because this is the right message for her to be sending out to her followers. Of course, this was back in 2015, Rousey hasn't been in the public eye as much over the past few years, but it would be interesting to see if her regime is still the same.

13 Close To Perfect

Ronda has had a tough life. She has been fighting ever since she was born with her umbilical cord around her neck. She continued to fight through speech problems in her youth before she realized that fighting was obviously something she was good at.

Since then, Ronda has become an inspiration to a number of other women who are fighting through problems in their life. The former UFC Champion regularly updates her Instagram with quotes to inspire all of her followers on a daily basis. The above is another one of these cases where Ronda is trying to state that she is only human and sometimes being human means you aren't perfect but you still deserve a second chance. This was uploaded a few months after Ronda's loss to Holly Holm.

Fans of the former UFC Champion are used to seeing her in gloves and workout gear. Rousey is always sharing pictures of her workouts and the fact that she's preparing for fights, but sometimes she does stun her followers when she uploads pictures like the one above that show that she is just another girl who loves to wear dresses.

This was almost a year ago when Ronda was still looking forward to her comeback match with Amanda Nunes and was busy promoting her "Fear The Return" message ahead of the bout. Rousey has become quite a celebrity in her sport so she was able to appear on a number of talk shows and speak to many media companies about her upcoming fight, one that many of her fans expected her to win.

11 Silver Stunner

Ronda has gone from being relatively unknown as a UFC fighter a few years ago, to being one of the best known female athletes in the world right now. Appearances in films and TV shows and even appearances on talk shows as seen here have obviously helped her to become well-known to many fans who don't necessarily watch UFC.

Rousey is rarely ever seen in a dress and it seems that she decided to mark the occasion here by promoting the company whose dress and shoes she was wearing. For a woman whose entire job is to survive being hit repeatedly, she still looks absolutely incredible. Ronda has always been a woman who has promoted a positive body image and she is continuing that here.

10 Open Workout

Ronda is usually seen in this kind of attire. She has become well-known for having an incredible body because she is in great shape and dedicates a lot of her time to working out and training ahead of her fights.

Because Ronda is always seen wearing this kind of clothing, many of her fans don't spend the proper time appreciating the fact that she really is in incredible shape. Ahead of her fight against Bethe Correia back at UFC 190, UFC held an open workout where fans were able to attend and watch how the UFC Champion prepared for her fight. This was a fight that Ronda went on to win in the first round in just 34 seconds. This was the match that Ronda famously dedicated to the late great "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

9 Jimmy Fallon Show

Being the first ever female fighter that was signed to UFC, Ronda has been in the spotlight now ever since 2012. Over the past few years, Ronda has gotten used to the media attention and the spotlight that came with being the first ever UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion and it seems that media appearances just became another part of her job.

Ronda has appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show a number of times over the past few years and it seems that the duo have become very good friends. This appearance was when she was promoting her Championship match against Holly Holm at UFC 193 back in 2015 which is still the most attended UFC event in the history of the company, with almost 55,000 fans in attendance in Australia.

8 Mae Young Classic

Following her defeat to Amanda Nunes back in December 2016, Ronda has remained away from The Octagon and instead speculation has been running wild about the former Champion making the switch over to wrestle with the WWE.

Rousey has been a fan of the company since she was a child, and following her appearance at WrestleMania 31 almost three years ago many fans are convinced that one day she will wrestle in a WWE ring. Most recently she has made a number of WWE appearances whilst supporting her friend Shayna Baszler through the Mae Young Classic. Baszler went on to sign a contract with WWE when she was announced as the runner-up of the tournament, and many are now hoping that Ronda follows her friend to the biggest wrestling promotion in the world.

7 Don't Be A D.N.B

Ronda has always talked about the positive influence her mother has had on her life. Her mother taught her so much that she has been able to put into practice and it seems that this is why she decided to develop the "DNB" campaign.

Back in 2015, Ronda launched a campaign that talked about how she was never going to be a "Do Nothing B**ch." These are the women who look pretty and then think that their looks will be the things that will get them by in life. Ronda was never going to be that way. She stated that she always had a path in life and she would never become a "DNB" which is why she decided to begin something like this for all the hard-working women of the world.

6 Talk Show Queen

Ronda appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show back in February last year, this was the time when Ronda herself said she wasn't feeling great about the backlash she received when she lost her match to Nunes but still managed to paint a smile on her face.

This image in particular has become quite a famous picture given the fact that Ronda later stated that she was given the image to promote her appearance on the show by her media team. The only issue was that the image was edited so that her arms appeared much shorter than they actually were. Ronda later apologized to her followers when it was made public knowledge for using the image after so many years of stating that she was body proud and promoting the fact that women should always be body confident.

While Rousey has been seen in a dress by her fanbase a number of times, it seems that Ronda isn't the kind of person who usually wears a skirt. All of those years of fighting and remaining in shape has given Ronda an incredible figure, which she often decides to show off.

The above image was one that Ronda shared as an edit from one of her friends, and it seems that she likes the fact that the image has been edited to look this way. Ronda is obviously a fan of 1990s style where denim was a big thing. She grew up in the 90s so this is expected, it is just odd seeing someone wearing a denim skirt in 2017, even if the original image was posted in 2015.

4 Buffalo Jeans

Ronda Rousey became a household name a number of years ago when she managed to rise to the top of her sport, the first woman to have been able to do this in UFC and to then begin what was seen as a revolution in women's sports.

Because of the attention that Ronda has received after paving out her own path in MMA and UFC, she has been able to move on to do a number of other projects outside of her comfort zone, including appearing in Hollywood films like The Expendables and even being part of photoshoots where she was chosen as the person to represent Buffalo Jeans. Ronda is always seen as a dominant presence in a UFC ring, but underneath she is still a woman and as the images above show, she's quite a beautiful one too.

3 Be More Human

Over the past few years, the world has looked up to the first ever female UFC fighter, the undefeated sensation who was finally grounded back in 2015. Ronda didn't take losing too well and said that she felt really low after she saw the public's reaction to her fight and didn't know how to climb back up.

Luckily, Reebok gave her the chance to stand back on her own two feet and show the world that she was only human. The #BeMoreHuman campaign allowed Ronda to step back into the public eye and state that she was only human and humans deserve a second chance, something that she was later able to build towards when she began promoting her return to the Octagon when she took on Amanda Nunes.

2 Fear The Return

After Ronda Rousey was defeated by Holly Holm back in 2015, it was more than a year before Ronda was ready to get back into The Octagon. Ronda began building towards her match with Amanda Nunes late last year before the duo's actual match took place in December.

Ronda promoted the event on her Instagram page with the slogan #FearTheReturn. Sadly it didn't work out that way for her and on her return she was beaten in less than a minute. It seems that over the past few years Ronda has built up a reputation for being one of the most powerful women in the world and after two fights, this reputation has disappeared. Even though she lost the fight, we can still look at the images ahead of the fight when she looked stunning because she was still so full of confidence.

1 Sports Illustrated

Back in 2016, Ronda was part of a swimsuit photo shoot for Sports Illustrated but this one was a twist since the swimsuit was painted on. Ronda confirmed that it took more than 14 hours to paint the incredible design onto her ahead of the shoot.

Ronda almost broke the internet with the images that she shared when she was featured in the magazine. This was perhaps Ronda's second best-known photoshoot of her career after she posed naked for ESPN a few years ago when she stated that she was aware that there was a video that was going to be leaked and she was being blackmailed. This pushed her to then go ahead and be part of a shoot like this on her own terms.
