Cormier Wins Light Heavyweight Title, Then Calls Out Jon Jones

Saturday night in the third round of their championship fight at UFC 187 at the MGM Grand Garden Daniel Cormier submitted Anthony Johnson with a rear naked choke and became the undisputed UFC light heavyweight champion.

However, that "undisputed" part might be disputed by some fans and UFC watchers given that this fight only came about because the former champion Jon Jones was suspended from the UFC and stripped of his title last month after an alleged hit-and-run accident.

Jones had been set to defend his title against Johnson at UFC 187 before the suspension. Also, Cormier had lost to Jones back in January when he had his shot at him.

Cormier is obviously aware of these thoughts and after his victory last night he looked right into the camera and said, "Jon Jones, get your (@*%&) together. I'm waiting for you."
